My Local staff offered Morrisons jobs

Wm Morrison has pledged to rehire hundreds of former My Local staff if the ailing chain of convenience stores is forced to close.

The present owners of the grocer, who bought it from Morrisons last September, are poised to put it into administration.

It also emerged yesterday that Sir Philip Green intends to offer jobs to about 1,000 members of staff at BHS. The chain, which Sir Philip owned until last year, collapsed this month when administrators failed to find a buyer.
