Jecheon
Jecheon is a city in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. The city is a major railway junction or a transportation mecca, served by the Jungang, Chungbuk and Taebaek Lines. Jecheon has scenic surroundings and several tourist spots like the Uirimji Reservoir, Cheongpung Lake and Cheongpung Cultural Properties Complex. It is also the home of Semyung University.
The city's name derives from the Korean words Je(堤), which means Dam, and cheon(川) which means River.
Location
Jecheon City is located in the northern part of North Chungcheong Province bordering Mungyeong City to the south, Wonju City and Yeongwol-gun which are located in Gangwon Province to the north. It is well known for its beautiful mountains and lake environments. Jecheon is well known as the "healing city". A wide variety of oriental medicine are available, attracting people all over Korea to visit the city.

Synopsis: Once a promising musician, Hyeon-seok has been living as a commoner after he found the symptom of Menieres syndrome. He had to stop playing music because his ears distorted sounds into noise. To run away from reality and depression he heads to Japan. This train trip has brought back romantic memories to Nikos.He understands how by visiting the Yeongdong Railway, still boring the marks of Korea's industrialization and the miners who powered the nation's economic growth.
Falling in and out of love has become easy in this day and age, but Nikos meets old married couples in Samcheok and Jecheon who have lived their entire lives faithfully in love with each other.
