Programme One was a television channel produced and transmitted by Soviet Central Television, the television broadcasting organization of the USSR. It had a mixed schedule of news and entertainment, with the emphasis on events in the USSR, and also included regional programming.
Programme One was established on 22 March 1951 when, as part of a reorganization of the television system, the Moscow Television Station changed its name to reflect its planned expansion. It was known officially as the First Programme of the CT USSR (Russian: Первая программа ЦТ СССР).
The channel, which was transmitted on the SECAM D/K standard, carried advertising for the first time in the 1980s. The channel was broadcast until 1991. In December of that year, it was renamed as First Channel of the Ostankino Television.
Following the dissolution of the USSR, Programme One's frequencies were transferred to the new state broadcasting organizations in the former Soviet republics, while in the Russian republic the main Ostankino Television channel took over its signal.
Invasion is the thirteenth LP by Norwegian electronic dance music producer Aleksander Vinter who goes by the stage name "Savant." The LP was released song by song on SoundCloud, with the exception of "Broken." It was remastered and re-released in January 2015 as a pay what you want LP on Bandcamp, and the remastered versions have since been released on all popular online music stores such as iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon, as well as on Spotify.
“Invasion is similar to other albums I’ve done straight after a big concept album. Like Overkill, which I released for free last year. Invasion is a freedom album with the emphasis on fun. It’s about the tracks, not the journey. I wanted to get back to that Vario vibe; fun and silly and computer gamey. It’s a bit more commercial sounding than other stuff, but it’s my take on commercial sounding music. I’ve had a lot of fun making it, and when I play any of the tracks live people go awesome!” — Savant
"Invasion" is the fifth episode of the sixth season of the American television medical drama Grey's Anatomy, and the show's 107th episode overall. It was written by Mark Wilding and directed by Tony Phelan. The episode was originally broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) in the United States on October 15, 2009. In the episode, the physicians of Seattle Grace Hospital must learn to co-operate with new Mercy West residents, who do not act in a kind manner to them. Other storylines include Dr. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez)'s father returning to the hospital to condemn her homosexuality, and Dr. Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) putting her career into jeopardy after administering the wrong treatment to a patient.
The episode was Heigl's last appearance before her five-episode hiatus to film a movie. It is set in a fictional hospital in Seattle, Washington. Héctor Elizondo returned as a guest star, while Jesse Williams, Sarah Drew, Robert Baker, and Nora Zehetner made their first appearances. "Invasion" received generally positive reviews, with critics praising Drew's, Jessica Capshaw's, Ellen Pompeo's, and Sandra Oh's performances. Upon its initial airing, the episode was viewed by 13.79 million Americans, garnered a 5.0/13 Nielsen rating/share in the 18–49 demographic and ranked third for the night in terms of viewership.

Mark Found and Mark Collins appeared in this hit Discovery show back in 2002 - and consequently some of the items have dated. Nevertheless, it's well produced, superbly filmed and both presenters show an enthusiasm for the subject that's hard to beat. In this programme Collins visitsThe Llangollen Railway and sightsees on the Cambrian Line, whilst the ever-popular Found experiences life as a signalman and meets up with life long railway enthusiast Michael Palin.
