Furnished with a full complement of state-of-the-art cardio and strength-training equipment, the Fitness
Club is located adjacent to
Crosswater Hall and the
Splash Water Park. Nocatee residents and guests can tackle their fitness regimens while enjoying a great view of Splash
Cove. It is designed to offer residents all they need to achieve their fitness goals in a fun and vibrant environment.
At the Nocatee Fitness Club, top-notch personal trainers and group fitness instructors are available to personalize your exercise plan. A Fitness
Orientation is held once per month by the trainers to teach residents about proper equipment usage.

Class Descriptions:
Zumba- this dance fitness class features exotic rhythms set to high-energy
Latin and international beats, with dancing with fast and slow rhythms, as well as resistance training.
Circuit -- this class will strengthen tone and condition your major muscle groups. The concept of this class is to interval train at different stations alternating between high intensity and strength exercises. This class can be modified for all fitness levels.
Pilates
Express -- this 30 minute mat class focuses on strength, precision, and flow of movement. Participants will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core.
Yoga Express - a 30 minute class that uses a continuous flow of
Yoga postures designed to take the kinks and stress out of your day and leave you feeling energized.
Yoga Flow- an intermediate class using a continuous flow of Yoga postures synchronizing the breath with movement to cultivate balance, flexibility, strength and endurance.
Gentle Yoga -- explores the combination of Yoga postures, breathing and meditation to help us achieve unity of mind, body and spirit. This class moves at a slower pace emphasizing stretching, balance and flexibility. Gentle Yoga is for participants new to Yoga or who want a less strenuous class.
Strength &
Stretch -- this low intensity class will focus on posture, balance, flexibility, stretching, & coordination. We will use resistance bands and light weights.
Great for those just getting started in exercise or for people with limitations.
AquaFit -- a combination of cardio and toning workout for everyone. We will start with a warmup in the lazy river. Then continue on to the pool. Using the buoyancy of the water and your own body weight, you will tone and strengthen your entire body and get your heart rate up with less stress on the joints. This class will use pool equipment including resistance bands, noodles, kick boards and water dumbbells.
Cardio Tone &
Core -- this class offers three segments of different types of cardio, strength and core workouts that can change each week. Each segment will be approximately
20 minutes long and provide a total body workout.
To participate in Nocatee Fitness
Classes, you must purchase a Fitness Card, available to both residents and non-residents. Each Fitness Card is good for 12 classes.
Resident cards are available for $40 and non-resident cards are available for $75. Cards can be purchased in the Resident Services
Office Monday -- Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Attendees must be at least 14 years of age and accompanied by an adult until the age of 16.
