Amy Lysle Smart (born March 26, 1976) is an American film and television actress and former fashion model.
Smart was born in Topanga, California. Her mother, Judy Lysle (née Carrington), worked at a museum, and her father, John Boden Smart, was a salesman. Amy Smart studied ballet for ten years.
While modelling in Italy, Smart met fellow model Ali Larter and the two "became instant friends", according to Larter. Whilst in Los Angeles, the two took acting classes together.
Smart's first film role was in director Martin Kunert's film Campfire Tales, followed by a small role as Queenie in the 1996 rendition of John Updike's short story, "A&P". She had a minor role in the 1997 film Starship Troopers as the co-pilot for (and friend of) Carmen Ibanez (Denise Richards). She had a starring role in the mini-series The 70s, playing a young woman from Ohio. In 1999, Smart played the girlfriend of a popular American football player (played by James Van Der Beek) in the film Varsity Blues, re-uniting her with close friend Ali Larter.
We've just landed
Alright, send a search party out
Don't, don't get caught up on this planet, man
This humans are crazy
Just don't even show 'em your microphones 'cause then you know what
They wanna give you a record deal and then
You end up dead, you know what I mean, it's like
body snatchers
But you know what
We love hip hop
Stop, please stop, please
Okay here we go, chu chu, yeah
Holdin' my raps
Olden is golden and black
Extollin' virtues o' rap
With monkeys ridin' my back
I see them fallin'
Doin' commercials and ballin'
I'm not a hater but she's closin' but she's closin' the gate we stall in
Woke up in the early mornin'
I heard a voice
That showed me the things to come and told me I had a choice
To build it
Three hundred cubits by fifty cubits
Drinkin' thinkin' I'm stupid but deep in my heart I knew it
Money and fame, could lead to emcee murdah
You think you can escape but you can't take it any further
You call it writer's block but you stop 'cause the vine is empty
Hip hop's not dead
It's really the mind of the emcee
Chorus
It's all around me
It's emcee murdah
Though God has found me
I thought I heard the
Sound of a thousand angels
It's the sound of danger
Know myself but I'm still a stranger
Emcee murdah, emcee murdah
I be damned if I do
And damned if I don't
My soul won't
Allow me to fake on the phone
Rockin' the chrome
Another seed gets sown anonymous
I'm hailin' from parts that's unknown
I look to the heavens above
To spread love
But emcees keep fakin'
Hopin' to make the bacon
Man is mistaken
'Cause who we are's not physical
Very mystical with the mind non-typical but
They want the cash flow
They steady schemin' for the number one spot
These emcees they won't last though
I really feel somebody's watchin' me
From the furthest star and tellin' us who we are
In this universe
You like a speck o' dust
You can't expect to trust
Man is livin' for the lust
Everybody wants the eye in the sky
To come and save us
But maybe
The planet itself will terminate us with the...
Chorus (x2)
