Mumbai: On Monday, the trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker's highly anticipated period drama Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan released.
The 3 minutes 31 seconds long trailer featured Hrithik Roshan in a different light. The story revolves around Hrithik, who essays the role of Sarman, an Indigo farmer from Amri. To save Mohenjo Daro, he must battle the villainous Maham, played by Kabir Bedi. Meanwhile, Sarman also falls in love with Chaani, a beautiful young woman played by Pooja Hegde.
While many praised Hrithik and film’s team for ‘Mohenjo Daro’ trailer, people on Twitter had completely different thing to say.
“#MohenjoDaro is an Ashutosh Gowarikar movie. People will have to take tickets, pillow,2 days eating supply, toothbrush with them to watch it,” tweeted one. While another user wrote, “#MohenjoDaroTrailer "In 2016 BC..." Pahlaj Nihalani: "Arre BC kaise bola, cut karo yeh scene."
The #MohenjoDaroTrailer makes clear that the fall of the Indus Valley civilization was caused by Hrithik's angry face-trembling.

Wouldn't it be great if this was a Khoon Bhari Maang sequel instead? :D #MohenjoDaroTrailer pic.twitter.com/oszdKKx1fS

If the people in 2600 BC were made to watch Jodha Akbar & Lagaan back to back, they'd be done just in time for the release of Mohenjo Daro.

Currently Independence Day looks more historically and scientifically accurate than Mohenjo Daro.
