Remix (film)
Remix is a Danish 2008 feature film directed by Martin Hagbjer starring Micky Skeel Hansen as a 16-year-old pop singer Ruben. Remix is inspired by the true story of Danish pop idol Jon Gade Nørgaard known by the mononym Jon. Jon was also the subject of the documentary feature film Solo released in 2007. The film was released on January 25, 2008.
Synopsis
Ruben (played by Micky Skeel Hansen), an aspiring young man is offered a record contract by the music executive Tanya (portrayed by Camilla Bendix). The film, which co-stars Jakob Cedergren, Sofie Lassen-Kahlke, Henrik Prip and Anette Støvelbæk, follows Ruben's fall from grace in the hands of the music industry.

Remix: Making Art and Commerce Thrive in the Hybrid Economy is Lawrence Lessig's fifth book. It is available as a free download under a Creative Commons license. It details a hypothesis about the societal effect of the Internet, and how this will affect production and consumption of popular culture.
Summary
In Remix Lawrence Lessig, a Harvard law professor and a respected voice in what he deems the "copyright wars", describes the disjuncture between the availability and relative simplicity of remix technologies and copyright law. Lessig insists that copyright law as it stands now is antiquated for digital media since every "time you use a creative work in a digital context, the technology is making a copy" (98). Thus, amateur use and appropriation of digital technology is under unprecedented control that previously extended only to professional use.
Lessig insists that knowledge and manipulation of multi-media technologies is the current generation's form of "literacy"- what reading and writing was to the previous. It is the vernacular of today. The children growing up in a world where these technologies permeate their daily life are unable to comprehend why "remixing" is illegal. Lessig insists that amateur appropriation in the digital age cannot be stopped but only 'criminalized'. Thus most corrosive outcome of this tension is that generations of children are growing up doing what they know is "illegal" and that notion has societal implications that extend far beyond copyright wars. The book is now available as a free download under one of the Creative Commons' licenses.

extra was a retail store chain in the food sector that's belonged to the REWE Group since 1. July 2008. The company was formerly part of Metro Group.
Company history
The first extra store was opened by the Schaper-Group in Düren in 1970. In the early years, the main part of the branch network was in Lower Saxony and North Rhine Westphalia. extra was integrated into the Asko-Group in 1987, which in turn has been part of Metro Group since 1986. The two sales lines real,- and extra had been merged by Metro Group in 2004, though they continued to appear as two separate brands in the market. The Metro Group sold extra to the REWE Group on 1. July 2008. The brand name extra was announced to be phased out in 2009 and the markets will be named REWE. The franchise supermarkets Comet and Bolle that belong to extra will keep their names initially. To facilitate the sale of extra, the Metro Group split the two companies real,- and extra. The entity's name was then changed to extra Objektgesellschaft mbH. After the sale of extra, the "TiP" products disappear from the markets and are replaced by "Ja!", "REWE" and "REWE Bio" products, the marchandises of the REWE Group.
Extra (Australian TV channel)
eXtra is an Australian advertorial datacasting channel and a sister channel to the Nine Network, launched on 26 March 2012. The channel broadcasts mainly infomercials as well as home shopping, religion, community, educational, multi-cultural programming as well as stories taken from Nine Network programs including A Current Affair, Getaway, Mornings and Today.
History
On 28 March 2013 eXtra2 was launched, broadcasting a five-hour timeshift of eXtra. As a result, the quality of sister channel GEM was cut.
On 26 November 2015, Nine's new lifestyle channel 9Life launched in metropolitan areas on channel 94, replacing the primary broadcast of eXtra, which moved to channel 95, replacing eXtra2. However, eXtra and eXtra2 remained in broadcast on regional Nine affiliate NBN on channels 94 and 95 respectively in place of 9Life. On 21 January 2016, eXtra replaced WIN's five-hour timeshift of their datacasting channel GOLD on channel 82. With the coming launch of WIN and NBN's high definition simulcasts in 2016, their channel listings will be reshuffled to mirror Nine's metropolitan listing, moving eXtra to channel 85 in place of eXtra2 which will be closed.

Paul (Cornish: Breweni) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in the civil parish of Penzance. The village is two miles (3 km) south of Penzance and one mile (1.6 km) south of Newlyn.
The village of Paul should not be confused with the civil parish of Paul, which lies west of the village and does not include the village of Paul.
Like many Cornish communities Paul has its own community celebration. Paul Feast is held on the Sunday nearest 10 October every year when the village is decorated and a civic service takes place on the Sunday of the feast itself led by the Mayor of Penzance.
History
Much of the history of Paul is connected with its parish church. The church itself is said to have been founded in 490, a very uncertain date and not documented, by Paul Aurelian, a Welsh saint known in Brittany as Paol Aurelian in Breton. There is no historical evidence to support his ever coming to West Penwith. He was founder of the cathedral at Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the city named after him. However this church could have been dedicated to Paul the Apostle, or Paulinus of York, there is no documentary evidence to prove any of these three Saint Pauls was the original dedicatee of the church. It was only named 'St. Pol-de-Leon' in 1907 and is probably connected with Henry Jenner who (with W C Borlase) opposed alleged 'Englishness' and stamp consistent spelling of Cornish place names on OS maps.
Paul, Cape Verde
Paul is a concelho (municipality) of Cape Verde. It covers all the valley named the Vale do Paul. Situated in the northeastern part of the island of Santo Antão, it covers 7% of the island area, and is home to 16% of its population, the majority are rural. Its capital is the town Pombas. In area, the municipality is the 4th smallest and the 19th largest in the nation, in population it had the 17th largest and the 6th smallest in 2000.
Paul are connected with a road linking west Ribeira Grande and north of the island and since 2007 linking east then south and west to Porto Novo and south and west of the island without using the difficult road that crosses high in the mountains at around 1,400 m elevation.
