Leon Beer was the product of the first brewery in Cyprus founded in 1937. Until the arrival of KEO in 1951 it was the only locally-produced beer. Production of Leon was suspended in 1962 as the company acquired the license to produce Carlsberg locally (which began in 1969). In 2003, the brewery re-launched Leon based on the original recipe used in 1937. It is an All Malt beer as only malt, hops and yeast are used in its production.
Leon, Léon or León may refer to:
Beer is the world's most widely consumedalcoholic beverage; it is the third-most popular drink overall, after water and tea. It is thought by some to be the oldest fermented beverage. Beer is produced by the saccharification of starch and fermentation of the resulting sugar. The starch and saccharification enzymes are often derived from malted cereal grains, most commonly malted barley and malted wheat. Unmalted maize (US: corn) and rice are widely used adjuncts to lighten the flavor and because of their lower cost. The preparation of beer is called brewing. Most beer is flavoured with hops, which add bitterness and act as a natural preservative, though other flavourings such as herbs or fruit may occasionally be included. Some of humanity's earliest known writings refer to the production and distribution of beer: the Code of Hammurabi included laws regulating beer and beer parlours, and "The Hymn to Ninkasi", a prayer to the Mesopotamian goddess of beer, served as both a prayer and as a method of remembering the recipe for beer in a culture with few literate people. Today, the brewing industry is a global business, consisting of several dominant multinational companies and many thousands of smaller producers ranging from brewpubs to regional breweries.
Oh the moving finger writes
Having written, then moves on
Which means a brand new life
Comes along with each new dawn
Yes the moving finger writes
So as every day goes by (forget the hurt)
Take the hurt that’s in your heart
And leave it all behind
‘Cos tomorrow is another day
And your sorrows might just fade away
Oh tomorrow is another chance
And a clean start
And a new romance
Today is history
Don’t let it give you misery
Forget it; just remember me
I said it
That the moving finger writes
Having written, then moves on
Which means what’s done is done
‘Cos today’s forever gone
Yes the moving finger writes
And another day is through (It’s over)
Your heart is hurt tonight
Don’t let it worry you
‘Cos tomorrow might be out of sight
And your sorrows might just end tonight
Oh tomorrow possibly could bring
A new love and a wedding ring
Today is history
Don’t let it give you misery
Forget it; just remember me
I said it
Uniquely pitched instrumental bridge
‘Cos tomorrow is another day
And your sorrows might just fade away
Oh tomorrow is another chance
And a new love
And a new romance
Today is history
Don’t let it give you misery
Forget it; just remember me
I said it
‘Cos Tomorrow is another day (I know)
And your sorrows might just fade away (I never ever)
Oh tomorrow is another chance
And a new love
And a new romance
(Looking forward to)
Tomorrow (keeping my hopes up)
Is another day (got to keep your hopes up)
And your sorrows might just fade away
(‘Cos it’s coming my way)
Might just fade away

1-2-3, oh, that's how elementary it's gonna be
C'mon, let's fall in love, it's easy (it's so easy)
Like takin' candy (like takin' candy) from a baby
A-B-C (A-B-C) fallin' in love with you was easy for me (easy for me)
And you can do it, too, it's easy (it's so easy)
Like takin' candy (like takin' candy) from a baby
Baby, there's nothin' hard about love
Basically, it's as easy as pie
The hard part is livin' without love
Without your love, baby, I would die
It's easy (it's so easy)
Like takin' candy (like takin' candy) from a baby, yay
One and one are two (one and one are two)
I know you love me and oh,oh, how I love you (how I love you)
Don't try to fight it 'cause it's easy (it's so easy)
Like takin' candy (like takin' candy) from a baby, yay

There's a place for us
Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us somewhere
There's a time for us
Someday, a time for us
Time together with time to spare
Time to learn, time to care
Someday, somewhere
We'll find a new way of living
We'll find a way of forgiving
Somewhere
There's a place for us
A time and place for us
Hold my hand and
We're half way there
Hold my hand and
I'll take you there
Somehow, someday, somewhere
Yes, there's a place for us
For in this world
There's a place for all lovers
And it's a warm, kind, wonderful place
Always to be beside each other
Somehow, someday, somewhere
Hold my hand and
We're half way there
Hold my hand and
I'll take you there
Somehow, someday, somewhere
I know, I know, I know
I know that there's a place for us
A wonderful place for us somewhere
It's that time of the year
Summertime's almost here
Happiness is around the corner
It's that time of the year
Days are fun, nights with you, yeah
Nothing's bad, sure to do
Lazy nights is an epidemic
It's that time of the year
(It's that time of the year)
Sunshine every day
Paint your cares away
Let's spend every day together, yeah
We've been waiting so long
For this season to come
All the world is a lover's playground
It's that time of the year
(It's that time of the year)
It's that time of the year
Summertime's almost here
Happiness is around the corner
It's that time of the year
(It's that time of the year)
Every night under the stars
(It's that time of the year)
Every day, it's a miracle cause
(It's that time of the year)
One on condition with
Mother's permisison
(It's that time of the year)
Oh, I'll take you up and down
The boardwalk with small talk
(It's that time of the year)
On and on with happiness
As a guide, yeah
I love you, baby
Need you, darling, all right
Now that I found gold
You know I'm gonna stake my claim
It's not the kind of gold
That gives a man fortune and fame
Before I met you, girl
My life was so empty
To others, I'm still poor
But to me, I've got plenty
And, baby, let me tell you, baby
(CHORUS)
I struck it rich when I found you, baby
And I found you in the nick of time
I struck it rich when I found you, honey
And I'll be rich just as long as you're mine
Cause I love you, baby
I need you, darling, all right
Girls like you are rare, it's true
You can't find them no more
But I was like a miner searching
Hard to find it and got my reward
Many years ago, a wise man said
Good things come to those
Who go out and get it
And, baby, I went out and got you
I struck it rich when I found you, baby
Oh, I found you in the nick of time
I struck it rich when I found your loving
And I'll be rich just as long as you're mine
Cause I love you, baby
I need you, honey, all right
Sing it with me now
I struck it rich when I found you, baby
Oh, I'm wealthy cause I'm healthy
And you're so young
I struck it rich when I found you, baby
Cause my name is on the tip of your tongue
I struck it rich when I found you, baby
You're my girl, don't you know
When you smile
You're so adorable
So infantile
Just like a little child
Because you smile
Just like a baby
Just like a baby
When you frown
You look so helpless
That I sympathize
When I look in your eyes
I start to cry
Just like a baby
Just like a baby
Unpredictable
But irresistable
Sometimes I don't know
What to do with you, yeah
I've grown accustomed to
The thrill of of loving you
And like a baby
I'll take care of you
I will, I will
I start to cry
Just like a baby
Just like a baby, yeah
When I hold you, you make
Me feel so very wonderful
Oh, you're so lovable
Because you feel
Just like a baby
Just like a baby
Hey, I know, I know
Oh, you feel
So very wonderful now
Oh, daddy needs a baby
Mmm, baby needs a daddy now
I know, I know
Everybody needs somebody, girl
