Courtesy of ITV Meridian Tonight. Gorilla School charts the epic journey of 3 gorillas from Howletts, The Aspinall Wild Animal Park in Kent as they learn to live wild and free in the jungles of Africa.
The Aspinall Foundation is celebrating the 130th gorilla birth at its Kent Parks. The infant, believed to be a female, was born on the 26th of April at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park.
The parks care for the largest group of Western lowland gorillas in human care outside of Africa, currently housing 73 gorillas. As well as safeguarding gorillas and other endangered species at Howletts and Port Lympne, The Aspinall Foundation actively returns animals born at the parks' incredibly successful captive breeding programs to protected areas of the wild.

Recently on the news there was a vacant house with no power and some idiot had 40 Tvs that they were trying to repair and there was also drugs found in the house. Given the East Third Street Location this was in, it does not come as a surprise to anybody that knows this area

A family of nine gorillas has been released in the forest in Gabon after having been flown there from the UK by a conservationist organisation.
Eight of them were born in captivity and the other one had been rescued from Africa after its parents were killed for bushmeat.
The Aspinall Foundation, which has released more than 50 gorillas in Gabon and the Republic of Congo since 1996, said it was the first time it had sent a full family group from captivity into the wild.
Damian Aspinall told the BBC's Zeinab Badawi that it was a "logistical nightmare" to take the animals by land, sea and air from the UK to Gabon's Bateke Plateau National Park.

The first photograph shows the controversial moment that a father allowed his 18-month-old daughter to play with a 300lb gorilla.
And the experience seems to have taught the little girl, Tansy Aspinall, a lesson in confidence and courage.
The next picture also shows Tansy, now grown up, and yet again putting her trust in the arms of a massive male primate. This time, though, the embrace is the result of a truly touching reunion.
Tansy is the eldest daughter of maverick conservationist Damian Aspinall, and the gorilla she is cuddling is Djalta, one of the animals she played with as a child at Aspinall’s Howlett Wild Animal Park in Kent.

Eight of them were born in captivity and the other one had been rescued from Africa after its parents were killed for bushmeat. The Aspinall Foundation, which has released more than 50 gorillas in Gabon and the Republic of Congo since 1996, said it was the first time it had sent a full family group from captivity into the wild. Damian Aspinall told the BBC's Zeinab Badawi that it was a "logistical nightmare" to take the animals by land, sea and air from the UK to Gabon's Bateke Plateau National Park. -
