We 'humans' are insane... Our inability to view ourselves as 'one human family' (rather than as separate entities of race, culture or creed) is nothing less than 'madness'... and that 'madness' is clearly evident, in the division of peoples into groups of haves and have-nots. Impoverished Nations ?... Whole peoples living below the poverty line ?... That is 'Insane' ! All this 'garbage' I keep hearing about a Financial Crisis in the world... The only crisis is how 'insane' we are !!! We need to wake up... Stop competing against each other... Tear down the barriers that cause so much pain and suffering in the world. There is no excuse for 'poverty'... We could all be living 'comfortable, dignified lives'... and it is only 'our madness' that is preventing us from doing so ! With so many Natural Disasters currently causing havoc throughout the world, there is no time better than the present, to end the madness of separate world currencies... and to develop a One World Currency that allows all members of our human family to live a dignified life !!! Tunisian Fatma Ben Guefrache wins Muslim answer to Miss World.Dressed in headscarves and judged partly on their knowledge of the Koran, 18 finalists took part in a beauty contest with a difference in Indonesia on Friday – one exclusively for Muslims, and seen as a riposte to Western beauty pageants. With a doctor and a computer scientist among their number, the final contenders in the World Muslimah Award paraded in glittering dresses against the backdrop of world-renowned ancient temples for the contest in the world's most populous Muslim-majority country. But they were being judged not only their appearance but also on how well they could recite verses from the Koran and their views on Islam in the modern world. "We want to see that they understand everything about the Islamic way of life – from what they eat, what they wear, how they live their lives," said Jameyah Sheriff, one of the organisers. The eventual winner was a 25-year-old computer scientist from Tunisia, Fatma Ben Guefrache, whose prize included a gold watch, a gold dinar and a mini pilgrimage to Mecca. "May almighty Allah help me in this mission, and free Palestine, please, please, free Palestine and the Syrian people," she said in a tearful acceptance speech. The World Muslimah Award first drew global attention in 2013 when organisers presented it as a peaceful protest to Miss World, which was taking place around the same time on the resort island of Bali.

Al Jazeera 2014-11-21The dinar (Arabic: دينار, ISO 4217 currency code: TND) is the currency of Tunisia. It is subdivided into 1000 milim or millimes (مليم). The abbreviation DT is often used in Tunisia, although writing "dinar" after the amount is also acceptable (TND is less colloquial, and tends to be used more in financial circles); the abbreviation TD is also mentioned in a few places, but is less frequently used, given the common use of the French language in Tunisia, and the French derivation of DT (i.e., Dinar tunisien).
The dinar was introduced in 1960, having been established as a unit of account in 1958. It replaced the franc at a rate of 1000 francs = 1 dinar. The dinar did not follow the devaluation of the French franc in 1958, resulting in the exchange rate being abandoned. Instead a peg to the United States dollar of 0.42 dinar = 1 dollar was established which was maintained until 1964, when the dinar devalued to 0.525 dinar = 1 dollar. This second rate was held until the dollar was devalued in 1971.
