From ESPN. Nissan finally wins Daytona..but not with Electromotive. Geoff needs points. Doesn't get many..but at least you can see why Road Atlanta now has a chicane instead of "The Dip". Jag finally 'gets with the program' in GTP instead of recycling their Gp.C cars, but it's too late..because Gurney takes Toyota up from GTO to GTP, hires Fangio's nephew, and the Eagles fly. Everybody talks about what's going to happen to IMSA in the post-WEC world, and Varsha announces that WSC is coming in '94. More end of the era stuff, I guess. Personally, my fave moment in this one is 17:40 or so, where Dan's on the podium with PJ. Champagne is being -

Chip Robinson 'splains cool suits to Economaki for half a minute, and Dan Gurney nurses his Toyotas through their awkward adolescent phase. Expectant father Price Cobb says, "If she wants that kid to have nice clothes, I gotta stay here.." From ESPN. Nissan finally wins Daytona..but not with Electromotive. Geoff needs points. Doesn't get many..but at least you can see why Road Atlanta now has a chicane instead of "The Dip". Jag finally 'gets with the program' in GTP instead of recycling their Gp.C cars, but it's too late..because Gurney takes Toyota up from GTO to GTP, hires Fangio's nephew, and the Eagles fly. Everybody talks about what's going to happen to IMSA in the post-WEC world, and Varsha announces that WSC is coming in '94. More end of the era stuff, I guess. Personally, my fave moment in this one is 17:40 or so, where Dan's on the podium with PJ. Champagne is being sprayed..IIRC, it was Dan that started that tradition in the first place!
