This Mercedes-AMG GT S participated in this years SCC500's event 'Rolling50 1000 Deutsche Meisterschaft' on Black Forest Airport in Lahr, Germany. This event is all about dragracing. 1000m, a rolling start at 50km/h and insane cars!

This legendary instructor is about to teach you everything you need to know on how to burnout like a... well, you'll see. In this video, each of the fundamental steps of how to do a burnout will be taught, as well as what not to do.
There are a few common mistakes that people make when attempting to do a burnout in a car, and I want to make sure you avoid these potentially car damaging errors.
In my video that teaches how to burnout, the first thing I explain is the traction control settings and how you will want the traction systems set to burn rubber. I then teach you how to drop the clutch in a manual transmission to do a burnout. Make sure that when you drop the clutch the RPM's are high enough to get the wheels spinning, and be 100% sure that the clutch hooks up and is not slipping.
After the clutch hooked up and the wheels are spinning, press on the brake hard enough to keep the car stopped or moving at a slow crawl. Make sure you don't press the brake so hard that the drive wheels stop spinning and the clutch spins.
There is a big difference in terms of smell, and cost of labor/parts to replace a set of tires vs replacing a clutch.
After the tires are spinning and you are doing a burnout in your car, make sure you don't smoke the tires too long. I point out a few things that can potentially go wrong when doing a burnout, such as the tires popping, the brakes heating up, and the tires hooking up and launching you forward after you let off the brake.
If your tires are in bad condition and you burn them too long, they could pop and cause serious damage to your car or even potentially injure a bystander. If the brakes get too hot they could not only wear significantly, but they could also catch on fire and lead to more problems than you were asking for.
When you want to end the burnout, you can let off the gas and keep your foot on the brake and/or press in the clutch to take the power away from the wheels so you don't launch forward or send the cause veering off course and crash.
Make sure you are aware that the engine won't be able to cool down as well as if you are driving fast. Wind will not be entering the engine bay under the hood to blow all that smokin' engine heat out of there and give the components a chance to cool down.

This video has been getting quite a lot of attention recently so I figured I should answer some of the questions people keep asking.
Why start filming halfway through? - You might not expect it, but sawing through that thing was hard! To begin with, I was the one sawing through it and it took about 10-15 minutes to get it to that stage. After cool stuff started happening, my father took over with the saw and I decided to go get a camera to film it, although we had no idea what was actually about to happen.
Why cut it in half? - We'd built this elastic band ball together over the course of about a year, buying big bags of elastic bands every so often and just slowly adding them all onto the ball. Eventually, we got bored of it and it was also getting quite difficult to find elastic bands that could still make it all the way round so we stopped expanding it and it got left under a table for about a year. After a while, the elastic on the outer layers got frayed and started snapping by itself, so every day there'd be a few more snapped elastic bands on the floor. We decided to get rid of it, and I suggested cutting it in half somehow.
Why are you wearing a glove on the wrong hand? - To be honest with you, we filmed this almost a year and a half ago and I don't actually remember why. We probably had a good reason.
Thank you to Reddit, IFLScience, io9, the Irish Independent, and every other website that's featured this video over the past few days. It had about 200 views at the start of December, and it was a genuine surprise to see so many people interested in this video. Thank you all for watching, liking, and favouriting!

Burning Rubber is a 1981 feature film starring musician Alan Longmuir (of the Bay City Rollers) and Olivia Pascal. Longmuir plays Henry Carsten, a race car driver. The picture was filmed in South Africa. Three other former members of the Bay City Rollers are also in the cast.

Jurassic World
Jurassic World is a 2015 American adventure science fiction film and the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series. It was directed and co-written by Colin Trevorrow, produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The production companies were Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, also responsible for the rest of the franchise, and Thomas Tull's Legendary Pictures. Set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Jurassic World takes place on the same fictional island of Isla Nublar, off the Pacific coast of Central America, where a fully functioning dinosaur theme park has operated for ten years. The park plunges into chaos when a genetically modified dinosaur, Indominus rex, breaks loose and goes on a rampage across the island.
Universal Pictures intended to begin production on a fourth Jurassic Park film in 2004 for a summer 2005 release, but the film entered over a decade of development hell while the script went through revisions. Following a suggestion from Spielberg, writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver explored the idea of a functional dinosaur park. Once Trevorrow was hired as director in 2013, he followed the same idea while developing a whole new script with Derek Connolly. Principal photography rolled from April to August 2014, primarily in Louisiana while also using the original Jurassic Park filming locations in Hawaii. Again the dinosaurs were created through computer-generated imagery by Industrial Light & Magic and life-sized animatronics by Legacy Effects, a company created by the alumni of Jurassic Park veteran Stan Winston.

Mercedes-AMG GT
The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190) is a 2-door, 2-seat grand tourer coupé produced by Mercedes-AMG. The sports car was presented on September 9, 2014 (2014-09-09) and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show. After the SLS AMG, it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. The car is produced in two performance variations, with the Mercedes-AMG GT S (C120) having a slightly higher performance. Both models went on sale in March 2015, with a GT3 racing variant of the car expected to be released in 2016. All variants are assembled at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen, Germany.
History
The interior of the Mercedes-AMG GT was previewed on April 16, 2014. The car made its debut on September 9, 2014 and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show with two performance options: the GT, with 350 kW (476 PS; 469 bhp), and the GT S with 375 kW (510 PS; 503 bhp). The GT has 600 N·m (443 lb·ft) of torque, and the GT S has 650 N·m (479 lb·ft) of torque.

This legendary instructor is about to teach you everything you need to know on how to burnout like a... well, you'll see. In this video, each of the fundamental steps of how to do a burnout will be taught, as well as what not to do.
There are a few common mistakes that people make when attempting to do a burnout in a car, and I want to make sure you avoid these potentially car damaging errors.
In my video that teaches how to burnout, the first thing I explain is the traction control settings and how you will want the traction systems set to burn rubber. I then teach you how to drop the clutch in a manual transmission to do a burnout. Make sure that when you drop the clutch the RPM's are high enough to get the wheels spinning, and be 100% sure that the clutch hooks up and is not slipping.
After the clutch hooked up and the wheels are spinning, press on the brake hard enough to keep the car stopped or moving at a slow crawl. Make sure you don't press the brake so hard that the drive wheels stop spinning and the clutch spins.
There is a big difference in terms of smell, and cost of labor/parts to replace a set of tires vs replacing a clutch.
After the tires are spinning and you are doing a burnout in your car, make sure you don't smoke the tires too long. I point out a few things that can potentially go wrong when doing a burnout, such as the tires popping, the brakes heating up, and the tires hooking up and launching you forward after you let off the brake.
If your tires are in bad condition and you burn them too long, they could pop and cause serious damage to your car or even potentially injure a bystander. If the brakes get too hot they could not only wear significantly, but they could also catch on fire and lead to more problems than you were asking for.
When you want to end the burnout, you can let off the gas and keep your foot on the brake and/or press in the clutch to take the power away from the wheels so you don't launch forward or send the cause veering off course and crash.
Make sure you are aware that the engine won't be able to cool down as well as if you are driving fast. Wind will not be entering the engine bay under the hood to blow all that smokin' engine heat out of there and give the components a chance to cool down.

This video has been getting quite a lot of attention recently so I figured I should answer some of the questions people keep asking.
Why start filming halfway through? - You might not expect it, but sawing through that thing was hard! To begin with, I was the one sawing through it and it took about 10-15 minutes to get it to that stage. After cool stuff started happening, my father took over with the saw and I decided to go get a camera to film it, although we had no idea what was actually about to happen.
Why cut it in half? - We'd built this elastic band ball together over the course of about a year, buying big bags of elastic bands every so often and just slowly adding them all onto the ball. Eventually, we got bored of it and it was also getting quite difficult to find elastic bands that could still make it all the way round so we stopped expanding it and it got left under a table for about a year. After a while, the elastic on the outer layers got frayed and started snapping by itself, so every day there'd be a few more snapped elastic bands on the floor. We decided to get rid of it, and I suggested cutting it in half somehow.
Why are you wearing a glove on the wrong hand? - To be honest with you, we filmed this almost a year and a half ago and I don't actually remember why. We probably had a good reason.
Thank you to Reddit, IFLScience, io9, the Irish Independent, and every other website that's featured this video over the past few days. It had about 200 views at the start of December, and it was a genuine surprise to see so many people interested in this video. Thank you all for watching, liking, and favouriting!

There are a few common mistakes that people make when attempting to do a burnout in a car, and I want to make sure you avoid these potentially car damaging errors.
In my video that teaches how to burnout, the first thing I explain is the traction control settings and how you will want the traction systems set to burn rubber. I then teach you how to drop the clutch in a manual transmission to do a burnout. Make sure that when you drop the clutch the RPM's are high enough to get the wheels spinning, and be 100% sure that the clutch hooks up and is not slipping.
After the clutch hooked up and the wheels are spinning, press on the brake hard enough to keep the car stopped or moving at a slow crawl. Make sure you don't press the brake so hard that the drive wheels stop spinning and the clutch spins.
There is a big difference in terms of smell, and cost of labor/parts to replace a set of tires vs replacing a clutch.
After the tires are spinning and you are doing a burnout in your car, make sure you don't smoke the tires too long. I point out a few things that can potentially go wrong when doing a burnout, such as the tires popping, the brakes heating up, and the tires hooking up and launching you forward after you let off the brake.
If your tires are in bad condition and you burn them too long, they could pop and cause serious damage to your car or even potentially injure a bystander. If the brakes get too hot they could not only wear significantly, but they could also catch on fire and lead to more problems than you were asking for.
When you want to end the burnout, you can let off the gas and keep your foot on the brake and/or press in the clutch to take the power away from the wheels so you don't launch forward or send the cause veering off course and crash.
Make sure you are aware that the engine won't be able to cool down as well as if you are driving fast. Wind will not be entering the engine bay under the hood to blow all that smokin' engine heat out of there and give the components a chance to cool down.

This video has been getting quite a lot of attention recently so I figured I should answer some of the questions people keep asking.
Why start filming halfway through? - You might not expect it, but sawing through that thing was hard! To begin with, I was the one sawing through it and it took about 10-15 minutes to get it to that stage. After cool stuff started happening, my father took over with the saw and I decided to go get a camera to film it, although we had no idea what was actually about to happen.
Why cut it in half? - We'd built this elastic band ball together over the course of about a year, buying big bags of elastic bands every so often and just slowly adding them all onto the ball. Eventually, we got bored of it and it was also getting quite difficult to find elastic bands that could still make it all the way round so we stopped expanding it and it got left under a table for about a year. After a while, the elastic on the outer layers got frayed and started snapping by itself, so every day there'd be a few more snapped elastic bands on the floor. We decided to get rid of it, and I suggested cutting it in half somehow.
Why are you wearing a glove on the wrong hand? - To be honest with you, we filmed this almost a year and a half ago and I don't actually remember why. We probably had a good reason.
Thank you to Reddit, IFLScience, io9, the Irish Independent, and every other website that's featured this video over the past few days. It had about 200 views at the start of December, and it was a genuine surprise to see so many people interested in this video. Thank you all for watching, liking, and favouriting!
