Original Song Writer Komitas Vartapet
Soghomon Soghomonian, ordained and commonly known as Komitas, (Armenian: Կոմիտաս; 26 September 1869 – 22 October 1935) was an Armenian priest, musicologist, composer, arranger, singer, and choirmaster, who is considered the founder of Armenian national school of music. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of ethnomusicology.
Orphaned at a young age, Komitas was taken to Etchmiadzin, Armenia's religious center, where he received education at the Gevorgian Seminary. Following his ordination as vardapet (celibate priest) in 1895, he studied music at the Frederick William University in Berlin. He thereafter "used his Western training to build a national tradition". He collected and transcribed over 3,000 pieces of Armenian folk music, more than half of which were subsequently lost and only around 1,200 are now extant.
Dle Yaman or Dele Yaman (in Armenian Դլե Յաման) is an Armenian folk song that best depicts the Armenian soul. Its title is unclear as no specific translation has been given.
Dle Yaman was one of the ancient Armenian folk songs collected and preserved by Komitas, a composer, musicologist and the founder of modern Armenian classic music.
Originally a love song, in time, Dle Yaman became the hymn for the Armenian Genocide. Dle Yaman is performed in a variety of interpretations, from folk to classical to modern versions.

He plays the duduk, a double reed woodwind instrument related to the orchestral oboe. Gasparyan is known as the "Master of the duduk".
Born in Solak, Armenia to parents from Mush, Gasparyan started to play duduk when he was six. In 1948 he became a soloist of the Armenian Song and Dance Popular Ensemble and the Yerevan Philharmonic Orchestra.
He has won four medals at UNESCO worldwide competitions (1959, 1962, 1973, and 1980). In 1973 Gasparyan was awarded the honorary title People's Artist of Armenia. In 2002, he received the WOMEX (World Music Expo) Lifetime Achievement Award.
A professor at the Yerevan State Musical Conservatory, he has instructed and nurtured many performers to professional levels of performance in duduk.

He has collaborated with many artists, such as Hossein Alizadeh, Sting, Erkan Ogur, Michael Brook, Peter Gabriel, Brian May, Lionel Richie, Derek Sherinian, Ludovico Einaudi, Boris Grebenshchikov, David Sylvian, Hans Zimmer and Andreas Vollenweider.

Soghomon Soghomonian, ordained and commonly known as Komitas, (Armenian: Կոմիտաս; 26 September 1869 – 22 October 1935) was an Armenian priest, musicologist, composer, arranger, singer, and choirmaster, who is considered the founder of Armenian national school of music. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of ethnomusicology.
Orphaned at a young age, Komitas was taken to Etchmiadzin, Armenia's religious center, where he received education at the Gevorgian Seminary. Following his ordination as vardapet (celibate priest) in 1895, he studied music at the Frederick William University in Berlin. He thereafter "used his Western training to build a national tradition". He collected and transcribed over 3,000 pieces of Armenian folk music, more than half of which were subsequently lost and only around 1,200 are now extant.
Dle Yaman or Dele Yaman (in Armenian Դլե Յաման) is an Armenian folk song that best depicts the Armenian soul. Its title is unclear as no specific translation has been given.
Dle Yaman was one of the ancient Armenian folk songs collected and preserved by Komitas, a composer, musicologist and the founder of modern Armenian classic music.
Originally a love song, in time, Dle Yaman became the hymn for the Armenian Genocide. Dle Yaman is performed in a variety of interpretations, from folk to classical to modern versions.
SINGER ZARA (Russian singer)
Zarifa Pashaevna Mgoyan (Russian: Зарифа́ Паша́евна Мгоя́н; born 26 July 1983), known as Zara (За́ра), is a Russian pop singer and actress. Zara's parents are ethnic Yazidi from Gyumri, Armenia. She was brought up in Otradnoye and Saint Petersburg. Until 2004, she professed Yezidism, but has since converted to Russian Orthodoxy.She married Sergey Vladimirovich Matviyenko, the son of politician Valentina Matviyenko, on 30 April 2004, but they divorced one year later. She performed for the Russian army crews in Syria in 2016. She awarded of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2016
Armenian DUDUK Instrument by Djivan Gasparyan
Djivan Gasparyan (var. Jivan Gasparyan; Armenian: Ջիվան Գասպարյան, Armenian pronunciation: [dʒiˈvɑn ɡɑspɑɾˈjɑn]; born October 12, 1928 is an Armenian musician and composer. He plays the duduk, a double reed woodwind instrument related to the orchestral oboe. Gasparyan is known as the "Master of the duduk".
Born in Solak, Armenia to parents from Mush, Gasparyan started to play duduk when he was six. In 1948 he became a soloist of the Armenian Song and Dance Popular Ensemble and the Yerevan Philharmonic Orchestra.
He has won four medals at UNESCO worldwide competitions (1959, 1962, 1973, and 1980). In 1973 Gasparyan was awarded the honorary title People's Artist of Armenia. In 2002, he received the WOMEX (World Music Expo) Lifetime Achievement Award.
A professor at the Yerevan State Musical Conservatory, he has instructed and nurtured many performers to professional levels of performance in duduk.
