Isaac ( /ˈaɪzək/;Hebrew: יִצְחָק, Modern Yitsẖak Tiberian Yiṣḥāq, ISO 259-3 Yiçḥaq, "he will laugh"; Yiddish: יצחק, Yitskhok; Ancient Greek: Ἰσαάκ, Isaak; Latin: Isaac; Arabic: إسحاق‎ or Arabic: إسحٰق‎ʼIsḥāq) as described in the Hebrew Bible, was the only son Abraham had with his wife Sarah, and was the father of Jacob and Esau. Isaac was one of the three patriarchs of the Israelites. According to the Book of Genesis, Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born, and Sarah was beyond childbearing years.

Isaac was the only biblical patriarch whose name was not changed, and the only one who did not leave Canaan. Compared to those of Abraham and Jacob, Isaac's story relates fewer incidents of his life. He died when he was 180 years old, making him the longest-lived patriarch.

The anglicized name Isaac is a transliteration of the Hebrew term Yiṣḥāq which literally means "He laughs/will laugh."Ugaritic texts dating from the 13th century BCE refer to the benevolent smile of the Canaanite deity El. Genesis, however, ascribes the laughter to Isaac's parents, Abraham and Sarah, rather than El. According to the biblical narrative, Abraham fell on his face and laughed when Elohim imparted the news of their son's eventual birth. He laughed because Sarah was past the age of childbearing; both she and Abraham were advanced in age. Later, when Sarah overheard three messengers of the Lord renew the promise, she laughed inwardly for the same reason. Sarah denied laughing when Elohim questioned Abraham about it.

Isaac Larian (Persian: اسحاق لاریان‎, born March 28, 1954 in Kashan, Iran) is the Chief Executive Officer of MGA Entertainment, the biggest privately owned toy company in the world.

Larian arrived from Iran alone at the age of 17 and after graduating from California State University, Los Angeles in civil engineering, he started a business exporting electronic goods. Later in 2000, he expanded the company to include the creation, development and marketing of the Bratz doll. Two of the dolls bear the names of his children, son Cameron and daughter Jasmin (although her doll uses the Persian spelling Yasmin). Currently his third child doesn't have a Bratz doll, but that can change with the next release. Larian has 3 sisters and one brother. Isaac Larians wife's name is Angela Neman.

He was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" (Consumer Products category) by Ernst & Young in 2004. He was also named the overall national "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernst & Young in 2007. His motto, "Fortune favors the bold" is displayed throughout MGA's building.

Brittney "Britt" McKillip (born January 18, 1991 in British Columbia) is a Canadian actress and musician best known for her role in the movie Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktacular and its sequel Scary Godmother: The Revenge of Jimmy as Hannah Marie, and for her role as Reggie Lass in the cable series Dead Like Me, the film Dead Like Me: Life After Death (based on the series) and her voice role as Cloe in Bratz.

Her father is the producer Tom McKillip, and her mother the songwriter Lynda McKillip. She has an older sister, Carly McKillip, who is also an actress. Britt performs together with Carly in the country group One More Girl. Their debut album, Big Sky, was released on October 6, 2009, in Canada.
