Priya Anjali Rai

Priya Anjali Rai (born December 25, 1977), also known as Priya Rai, is an Indian-American pornographic actress.

Early life

Rai was born in New Delhi and was adopted by an American couple at age 2. She was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended Arizona State University, where she studied marketing.

Career

Rai worked as a fashion and swimwear model prior to working in the adult industry. Rai was a stripper for 12 years prior to appearing in pornographic films. She entered the adult film industry in 2007 at the age of 29.

In June 2013, she announced her retirement from adult films to focus on her mainstream career and personal life. Rai played the lead role of "Isis" in the mainstream horror film Isis Rising: Curse Of The Lady Mummy.

Recognition

Lifestyle magazine Complex placed her at #19 in their list of "The Top 100 Hottest Porn Stars Right Now" and at #32 in their list of "The 50 Prettiest Porn Stars of All Time".

Advocacy

She has expressed her opposition towards Measure B, a law requiring pornographic actors to wear condoms during all sex scenes filmed in Los Angeles.
