Manoj Juneja
In April, 2011, Manoj Juneja, a citizen of India, was appointed as one of the two Deputy Directors-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Manoj Juneja assumed his new role as the Deputy Director-General for Operations as of 1 July 2011. He has 24 years of UN experience, having served at the International Labour Organization (ILO) as well as in FAO's Office of Programme, Budget and Evaluation, Technical Cooperation, and Corporate Services, Human Resources and Finance departments.
He holds a master's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Manoj Juneja replaced Changchui He who had held the position since January 2010 and retired at the end of June 2011.
