I get my first taste of the Inner Hebrides islands off the coast of Scotland. Wow, is all I can say, this is without a doubt one of the most beautiful parts of the world that I have visited... Mull is fantastic and just wait until we get to Skye. I feel ever so lucky to have had the opportunity to visit them AND on perfect days...
The Isle of Mull was one of my highlights in Scotland and the Inner Hebrides definitely stole the show.

Ben More (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Mhòr, meaning "great mountain") is the highest mountain and only Munro (mountains in Scotland that reach an elevation of 3000 feet or more) on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.
It is the highest peak in the Inner Hebrides apart from those on the Isle of Skye. The mountain is situated in the south of the island, above the shores of Loch na Keal.
The peak is easiest reached from Loch na Keal, the walk up from the B8035 road following farm tracks, the side of a stream; Abhainn Dhiseig, and ultimately up scree slopes to the top. From the summit on a clear day, the view encompasses the Sound of Mull, Staffa, Ulva, the Ross of Mull and Iona in the distance. From sea loch to summit is approximately a four-hour walk.
The more demanding but rewarding route follows a boggy path up the banks of Abhainn na h-Uamha to the bealach between A' Chìoch ("The Breast") and Beinn Fhada (not to be confused with its namesake in Kintail). From the bealach the route follows South West along a steep and rocky ridge first to the peak of A' Chìoch then on and up to Ben More itself. There is respite at the top in a circular refuge of stones. This route starts and ends on the B8035 road and is approximately a 6 hour walk and scramble.
Climbers should be cautious when using a compass in misty conditions since there is magnetic rock in places, especially near the summit of the mountain.

After an intensive training with experts from the BAOR (British Army of the Rhine) the German bagpipe band was founded in 1977. The band's public appearances help to make the scottish bagpipes more popular in Germany.
The song was written by Paul McCartney and bandmate Denny Laine in tribute to the picturesque Kintyre peninsula in Argyll & Bute, Scotland, where McCartney had owned a home and recording studio since the late 1960s.

Mull
Mull (Gaelic: Muile pronounced [ˈmulʲə]) is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides (after Skye), off the west coast of Scotland in the council area of Argyll and Bute.
With an area of 875.35 square kilometres (337.97 sq mi) Mull is the fourth largest Scottish island and the fourth largest island surrounding Great Britain (excluding Ireland). In the 2011 census the usual resident population of Mull was 2,800 a slight rise on the 2001 figure of 2,667; in the summer this is supplemented by many tourists. Much of the population lives in Tobermory, the only burgh on the island until 1973, and its capital.
Tobermory is also home to Mull's only single malt Scotch whisky distillery, Tobermory (formerly Ledaig).
History
It is widely understood that Mull was inhabited shortly after the end of the last Ice Age, from around 6000 BC. Bronze Age inhabitants built menhirs, brochs and a stone circle with examples of burial cairns, cists, standing stones, stone circles, pottery and knife blades providing compelling evidence.

Susan Boyle
Susan Magdalane Boyle (born 1 April 1961) is a Scottish singer who came to international attention when she appeared as a contestant on the TV programme Britain's Got Talent on 11 April 2009, singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables. Her first album was released in November 2009 and debuted as the number one best-selling album on charts around the globe.

Ben More (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Mhòr, meaning "great mountain") is the highest mountain and only Munro (mountains in Scotland that reach an elevation of 3000 feet or more) on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. It is the highest peak in the Inner Hebrides apart from those on the Isle of Skye. The mountain is situated in the south of the island, above the shores of Loch na Keal. The peak is easiest reached from Loch na Keal, the walk up from the B8035 road following farm tracks, the side of a stream; Abhainn Dhiseig, and ultimately up scree slopes to the top. From the summit on a clear day, the view encompasses the Sound of Mull, Staffa, Ulva, the Ross of Mull and Iona in the distance. From sea loch to summit is approximately a four-hour walk. From the bealach the route follows South West along a steep and rocky ridge first to the peak of A' Chìoch then on and up to Ben More itself. There is respite at the top in a circular refuge of stones. This route starts and ends on the B8035 road and is approximately a 6 hour walk and scramble.
Climbers should be cautious when using a compass in misty conditions since there is magnetic rock in places, especially near the summit of the mountain.

Following two powerful earthquakes that jolted the nation... the government and ruling party are working on countermeasures.
That may include designating quake-hit Gyeongju a special disaster zone,... while also promising emergency funds for affected areas in advance.

The Korean government and the ruling Saenuri Party say they will consider designating the southeastern city of Gyeongju as a special disaster zone... after the area was hit by two strong earthquakes last week.
They also pledged combined inter-ministry efforts to assess the damage in the region.
The Gyeongju area has reported over 300 smaller aftershocks,... since the earthquakes with magnitudes of 5-point-1 and 5-point-8 hit last Monday.
To be declared a special disaster zone,... damages need to total at least 7-and-a-half billion won,... or roughly 6-point-7 million U.S. dollars.
That would qualify local residents for emergency relief... as well as special administrative and financial support.
The public safety ministry, meanwhile, has already decided to provide a special, separate disaster relief fund to affected regions.
"We will repair the damage in a speedy manner to minimize the inconvenience to citizens. The government will do this as soon as possible."
About 3-and-a-half million dollars will be set aside for that,... with more than half going to the Gyeongju area.
The ministry says temporary emergency measures have taken in more than half of the damaged facilities so far,... to prevent secondary damage.
