The Road to Singapore, not the 1940 musical with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope that kicked off the “Road” series (and is quite entertaining and funny even though the second one in the series, The Road to Zanzibar — the second and last one directed by frame-breaker Victor Schertzinger — is even better) but a 1931 Warners white-imperialists-in-the-tropics melodrama starring William Powell. He plays Hugh Dawltry (though spelled differently, the last name is pronounced the same as that of the Who’s lead singer, Roger Daltrey, and the American Film Institute Catalog for some reason misspells the name as “Dawltrey”), who as the film opens is returning to his plantation on the Pacific island of Khota. The plantation is being foreclosed on — at least I thought that was the meaning of the sign on its front gate announcing an auction (and incidentally giving the correct spelling of Dawltry’s last name), though later on Hugh moves back onto the plantation and seemingly doesn’t have any trouble staying there (maybe he returned with enough money to get himself out of hock) — and Hugh is thrown out of the Gymkhana Club in absentia because he shamed the members by running off in the first place with another man’s wife.

Originally, this film was not supposed to be a sequel to Road to Singapore (1940); in fact, Bing Crosby and 'Bob Hope' were not even supposed to be in it. The film was first offered to Fred MacMurray and George Burns, who both rejected it. While assembling a list of contract Paramount stars to offer it to, someone at the studio remembered that "Road to Singapore" had done relatively well, and Hope and Crosby "seemed to work well together", so it was offered to them. The rest, as they say, is history.

Road to Singapore is a 1940 Paramount Pictures film starring Bing Crosby, Dorothy Lamour, and Bob Hope, which marked the debut of the long-running and popular "Road to …" series of pictures spotlighting the trio.
Josh Mallon (Bing Crosby) and Ace Lannigan (Bob Hope) are best friends and work aboard the same ship. As their ship returns to the US after a long voyage, they see all the other sailors being mistreated by their wives and girlfriends, and the two friends pledge never to get involved with women again. Unfortunately, this vow is tested almost immediately. First, Ace is confronted by the family of a former lover, Cherry, who insist he marry her. Then Josh, who is the son of rich shipping magnate Charles Coburn, has to fend off his fiancee, Gloria (Judith Barrett), and his father's wishes that he settle down and take over the family business.
Things get worse when Josh and Ace get caught up fishing and turn up late for a party to celebrate Josh's engagement. Gloria's hostile drunken brother starts a fistfight and a news reporter takes photographs that cause a scandal. Josh and Ace flee to Hawaii and then head for Singapore.

Originally, this film was not supposed to be a sequel to Road to Singapore (1940); in fact, Bing Crosby and 'Bob Hope' were not even supposed to be in it. The film was first offered to Fred MacMurray and George Burns, who both rejected it. While assembling a list of contract Paramount stars to offer it to, someone at the studio remembered that "Road to Singapore" had done relatively well, and Hope and Crosby "seemed to work well together", so it was offered to them. The rest, as they say, is history.

o What is a Road to Commander?
A Road to Commander is a series where I record and upload every single game of a prestige in Call of Duty, from the first to the highest level. The purpose of that is to show everything, the good and the bad games, as opposed to just the really good games you would normally see on YouTube.

This Road to Commander was recorded on the Playstation 4. I also own an Xbox One but don’t play on it too much anymore.

I play on Tactical and Flipped button layout. I play on 4/4 sensitivity.
o What equipment do you use to record and make your videos?
For my gameplay I use an Elgato HD60 to record, my headset are Astro A40s, for editing I use Sony Vegas Pro 12.
o What is the music in the intro/outro?

Orchard Road is lined by many different shopping buildings filled with many different shops. These malls are definitely a must visit when you are in Singapore. Keep in mind that you will definitely purchase something as part of your retail therapy.
Small City Island was in Orchard Road and we bring to you the sights of Orchard Road which shows you why Orchard Road is a must visit place when you travel to Singapore.

Cathay Pacific Airways B777-300 Flight Experience: CX735 Hong Kong to Singapore
Cathay Pacific Airways full flight experience (including preview of Plaza Premium Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport) onboard the Boeing 777-300 aircraft from Hong Kong to Singapore. It started with a bus journey to the airport on Airport Bus A21 from Nathan Road. After check-in, it was a relaxing wait at the Plaza Premium Lounge, which was a cosy lounge where I had some tasty nibbles and drinks before the flight. The flight itself was good; the flight attendants were very nice, and entertainment system was enjoyable. The meal tasted alright. I had the aisle seat but nevertheless, I could enjoy the outside views via the belly camera. The fixed-back hardshell seat of the refurbished Boeing 777-300 I was on had its pros and cons - it allowed generous legroom but the seat itself wasn... -

Aborted Landing Experience on Oman Air Flight: WY823 Kuala Lumpur to Singapore
A dramatic ending to a routine Oman Air flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, onboard the Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Flight WY823 is a flight from Muscat to Singapore, with a transit stop in Kuala Lumpur. Oman Air provides a comfortable Economy Class experience, with generous legroom and a footrest, as well as a touchscreen entertainment system that offers diverse entertainment options. A light snack is provided on this short flight. During the final approach, the engine suddenly roads and the aircraft climbs and banks sharply to the right, before completing a circuit in the darkness over the Straits of Singapore.
