Welcome back to the Beginner's Guide to Sewing! In this episode we show how to make a garment smaller by taking in the side seams. We show how to adjust the waistband of a simple seam and how to alter the waistband of a seam with a zipper installed.
Knowing the foundation of alternating clothes will help you better understand garment construction and pattern making. It's also important to practice proper fit on different types of bodies with different types of silhouettes.
It's very likely that the garment you're altering is constructed differently than mine, so be sure to take pictures of how you opened the seams. That way you have a reference when putting everything back together.

Welcome back to the Beginner's Guide to Sewing! Alterations and mending are a huge part of sewing. Most people either hate it or love it - but regardless, if you drop the "S" word in public, people are going to ask you to fix their stuff. It's just a fact of life, my friend.
Not only does knowing a bit about mending and making alterations put a smile on the face of your friends and family, put it also saves you a bit of money by extending the life of your clothing. It can also bring in some extra income.
Let's start off by darning some ripped jeans and shortening some super long boy scout pants. I've tried to make the instructions as short, sweet, and straight to the point as possible. No fluffy extras, just straight to the point.

You found your dream dress, but it probably doesn't fit like a glove. That means it's time to schedule your wedding dress alterations. Not sure what to expect? In this Wedding Shoppe video, Jen goes over the common bridal alterations for wedding dresses and bridesmaid gowns.
Most wedding and bridesmaid gowns will require the sides to be taken in around the bust, waist, and hips. If your wedding dress or bridesmaid gowns have straps, those will probably be adjusted as well. The last thing you need is to be fidgeting with straps while dancing the night away! Another common request in bridal alterations is adding a bustle to your gown. Depending on where you get your wedding dress alterations, there are multiple bustling techniques. Your seamstress may add a series of ribbons that tie together or buttons and hooks on the underside of the dress, but almost all bustling is invisible.
Jen also gives some key advice to consider when scheduling your bridal alterations. First, it's important to remember that wedding dress alterations take time! Most brides schedule 2-4 appointments before they get the perfect fit. You should also bring the shoes you will be wearing on your big day so that the hem is the correct length. Also, remember that all bridal gowns should be professionally pressed and hemmed before the big day.

Another update from Tanki Online developers. This time they introduce Alterations. In this gameplay I took time to go over every turret and explain alterations as much as I could , showing their effect.
For gameplay I went with Hornet XT, Hammer M3 with Alteration adjustment so now all bullets flew in 1 area and Rio Map.
Also I answered another very popular reqeust where you guys ask me to friend you / accept you at my gissimo account that_one_michael. So every time you'll say friend me, I'll answer "follow me".

Alterations
Alterations is a two-part 1988 Australian television film for the ABC shot in 1987 at Canberra. It deals with a married couple and their respective affairs.
Synopsis
Ann (Angela Punch-McGregor) and Richard (Richard Moir) are a contemporary couple with two young children. They live on the outskirts of Canberra, in a newish suburb that has yet to encroach on the bare hills behind the house they are now extending. Richard travels a lot on business. Ann is studying for a degree. The passion of true love has gone. Part I describes Ann's affair with her husband's best friend, Michael (Steven Jacobs); Part II describes Richard's affair with another woman, Eleanor (Kim Krejus).

The Beginner's Guide to Sewing Alterations (Episode 17): Taking In a Side Seam
Welcome back to the Beginner's Guide to Sewing! In this episode we show how to make a garment smaller by taking in the side seams. We show how to adjust the waistband of a simple seam and how to alter the waistband of a seam with a zipper installed. Knowing the foundation of alternating clothes will help you better understand garment construction and pattern making. It's also important to practice proper fit on different types of bodies with different types of silhouettes. It's very likely that the garment you're altering is constructed differently than mine, so be sure to take pictures of how you opened the seams. Most people either hate it or love it - but regardless, if you drop the "S" word in public, people are going to ask you to fix their stuff. It's just a fact of life, my friend. Not only does knowing a bit about mending and making alterations put a smile on the face of your friends and family, put it also saves you a bit of money by extending the life of your clothing. You found your dream dress, but it probably doesn't fit like a glove. That means it's time to schedule your wedding dress alterations. Not sure what to expect? In this Wedding Shoppe video, Jen goes over the common bridal alterations for wedding dresses and bridesmaid gowns.
Most wedding and bridesmaid gowns will require the sides to be taken in around the bust, waist, and hips. If your wedding dress or bridesmaid gowns have straps, those will probably be adjusted as well. The last thing you need is to be fidgeting with straps while dancing the night away! Another common request in bridal alterations is adding a bustle to your gown. Depending on where you get your wedding dress alterations, there are multiple bustling techniques. Your seamstress may add a series of ribbons that tie together or buttons and hooks on the underside of the dress, but almost all bustling is invisible.
Jen also gives some key advice to consider when scheduling your bridal alterations. First, it's important to remember that wedding dress alterations take time! Most brides schedule 2-4 appointments before they get the perfect fit. You should also bring the shoes you will be wearing on your big day so that the hem is the correct length. Also, remember that all bridal gowns should be professionally pressed and hemmed before the big day.
