FILM DESCRIPTION:
Simple security guard Sam (John Travolta) has lost his job at a museum, and in a fit of desperation, he returns and demands his boss, Mrs. Banks (Blythe Danner), rehire him. But he comes armed, and his plan goes awry when he accidentally shoots an ex-coworker and ends up with schoolchildren as hostages. Meanwhile, down-and-out TV reporter Brackett (Dustin Hoffman) is on scene to capture everything, thinking this suddenly huge story is his ticket back to the top of the news game.

Lucinda Jenney
Lucinda Jenney (born April 23, 1954) is an American actress.
Career
Jenney began her acting career in 1979 with the film Impostors. Several roles followed throughout the eighties, appearing in the 1986 comedy The Whoopee Boys, the award-winning Peggy Sue Got Married, with Kathleen Turner and Nicolas Cage. She appeared as 'Iris' in the Oscar-winning film Rain Man, starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. In 1991, Jenney played waitress, 'Lena' in Ridley Scott's Thelma & Louise, the following year she appeared in American Heart, a film which earned her an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female. Jenney played the role of 'Anne Loomis' in the Joe Dante comedy Matinee, with John Goodman and Cathy Moriarty. During the nineties, she appeared in much smaller roles including Mr. Jones, with Richard Gere, Leaving Las Vegas, with Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue and Grace of My Heart. In 1997, she had a supporting role in the Tom Holland's horror film Thinner, which was based in the book by Stephen King. She also starred as medical officer Lieutenant Blondell in G.I. Jane, with Demi Moore, Mad City, with Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta, Desert Blue, with Kate Hudson and Christina Ricci, Practical Magic, with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman and The Deep End of the Ocean, which starred Michelle Pfeiffer and was based on the book by Jacquelyn Mitchard. In 2000, Jenney portrayed the role of 'Helen O'Donnell' in Thirteen Days, she appeared in romantic drama Crazy/Beautiful, with Kirsten Dunst and the The Mothman Prophecies, starring Richard Gere. Jenney's has appeared in other roles in S.W.A.T., American Violet and Rogue River. In 2009, she made a cameo appearance in The Hangover.

Stephen Edwin King (born September 21, 1947) is an American author of contemporary horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, science fiction, and fantasy. His books have sold more than 350 million copies, many of which have been adapted into feature films, miniseries, television shows, and comic books. King has published 54 novels, including seven under the pen name Richard Bachman, and six non-fiction books. He has written nearly 200 short stories, most of which have been collected in book collections. Many of his stories are set in his home state of Maine. His novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption was the basis for the movie The Shawshank Redemption which is widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time.
King has received Bram Stoker Awards, World Fantasy Awards, and British Fantasy Society Awards. His novella The Way Station (1980) was a Nebula Award novelette nominee. In 2003, the National Book Foundation awarded him the Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters. His short story "The Man in the Black Suit" (1994) received the O. Henry Award. He has also received awards for his contribution to literature for his entire oeuvre, such as the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement (2004), the Canadian Booksellers Association Lifetime Achievement Award (2007), and the Grand Master Award from the Mystery Writers of America (2007). In 2015, King was awarded with a National Medal of Arts from the United States National Endowment for the Arts for his contributions to literature.

Michael Constantine
Michael Constantine (born May 22, 1927) is an American actor of Greek descent.
He is probably now best known for his portrayal of Kostas "Gus" Portokalos, the Windex bottle-toting Greek father of Toula Portokalos (Nia Vardalos), in the 2002 surprise hit film My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Prior to that, he was well known for his extensive television work, especially as the long-suffering high school principal, Seymour Kaufman, on ABC's sitcom, Room 222, for which he won an Emmy Award as Best Supporting Actor in 1970. He played a night court magistrate, Matthew J. Sirota, on the 1976 sitcom Sirota's Court.
Life and career
Constantine was born Constantine Ioannides (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Ιωαννίδης) in Reading, Pennsylvania, the son of Andromache Efstratiou (Ανδρομάχη Ευστρατίου) (née Fotiadou [Φωτιάδου]) and Theoharis Ioannides [Θεοχάρης Ιωαννίδης] (a steel worker), both immigrants from Greece.
He began his career on the New York stage and in the mid-1950s as understudy to Paul Muni in Inherit the Wind. While in the cast, he met and married actress Julianna McCarthy on October 5, 1953; they had two children, Thea Eileen and Brendan Neil. The marriage ended in divorce in 1969, the same year that Constantine began his role on Room 222.

Last night was no exception as Dread Central hit the premiere of the upcoming psychological thriller Rogue River. On hand for the event were the film's stars Bill Moseley, Lucinda Jenney, Michelle Page, Chris Coy as well as the director Jourdan McClure, producer Zachary Bryan (who was accompanied by his TV mom Patricia Richardson from "Home Improvement") and executive producers Rick and Adrienne Matros. Other notable supporters on hand for the Rogue River premiere were some of Moseley's recent collaborators including director Tim Sullivan, Darren Lynn Bousman and Ogre of Skinny Puppy fame. FILM DESCRIPTION:
Simple security guard Sam (John Travolta) has lost his job at a museum, and in a fit of desperation, he returns and demands his boss, Mrs. Banks (Blythe Danner), rehire him. But he comes armed, and his plan goes awry when he accidentally shoots an ex-coworker and ends up with schoolchildren as hostages. The 2010 Screamfest Film Festival just keeps plugging along and bringing fans some really great horror features along the way. Last night was no exception as Dread Central hit the premiere of the upcoming psychological thriller Rogue River.
On hand for the event were the film's stars Bill Moseley, Lucinda Jenney, Michelle Page, Chris Coy as well as the director Jourdan McClure, producer Zachary Bryan (who was accompanied by his TV mom Patricia Richardson from "Home Improvement") and executive producers Rick and Adrienne Matros.
Other notable supporters on hand for the Rogue River premiere were some of Moseley's recent collaborators including director Tim Sullivan, Darren Lynn Bousman and Ogre of Skinny Puppy fame. Distributed by Tubemogul.

The 2010 Screamfest Film Festival just keeps plugging along and bringing fans some really great horror features along the way. Last night was no exception as Dread Central hit the premiere of the upcoming psychological thriller Rogue River. On hand for the event were the film's stars Bill Moseley, Lucinda Jenney, Michelle Page, Chris Coy as well as the director Jourdan McClure, producer Zachary Bryan (who was accompanied by his TV mom Patricia Richardson from "Home Improvement") and executive producers Rick and Adrienne Matros. The 2010 Screamfest Film Festival just keeps plugging along and bringing fans some really great horror features along the way. Last night was no exception as Dread Central hit the premiere of the upcoming psychological thriller Rogue River.
On hand for the event were the film's stars Bill Moseley, Lucinda Jenney, Michelle Page, Chris Coy as well as the director Jourdan McClure, producer Zachary Bryan (who was accompanied by his TV mom Patricia Richardson from "Home Improvement") and executive producers Rick and Adrienne Matros.

I've never been someone to meditate, I'm always on the go go go, but that's why I have been learning about and experimenting with meditation.
It was nice that my local Boston Cambridge Bikram Yoga studios ran a meditation workshop, where we were guided through different types of meditation styles. There was a guided one, where you were fully instructed what to do, there was a silent one, where you sit in the stillness of your own thoughts (hated that one), and others in between.
Here are my 3 tips towards meditation:
1) The important thing to note is that there are MANY different types of meditation practices and there is no RIGHT way. Just experiment with what works for you, and don't feel guilty when your mind wanders, because it will!
2) I believe that if you can just take a few deep breathes a day, and just give gratitude for what is beautiful and loving in your life, that is enough to be considered a meditation. Don't make incorporating a meditation practice into your life a burden, otherwise, you'll be defeating the purpose of meditation.
3) Lastly, if you can't do it on your own, try going to meditation classes. If you Google around your area, you might be surprised to find that there are many free or affordable classes you can drop in. Or, one of my favorite resources is a free app called Stop, Breathe & Think.
Tony Robbin's sharing his priming practice on Marie Forleo's MarieTV: http://www.marieforleo.com/2014/12/tony-robbins/ - He gets into it early on in the interview at 3:30. He shares his thoughts that psychological and spiritual practices are even more important than physical wellbeing -- every day he does a 10 minute "priming" which has meditative qualities and expresses gratitude.
Gabby Bernstein teaching how to meditate with a mantra: http://gabbybernstein.com/how-to-meditate-with-a-mantra/ - SO easy and simple, you can do it anytime and anywhere, and fun fact for those with kiddos--try it with them! It's never too early to start meditating. I did it with my 3 year old nephew and it was adorable the impact it can quickly have.
Kris Carr's Self-Care for Busy People Meditation Album: http://kriscarr.com/products/self-care-for-busy-people-digital-meditation-album/ - Kris is just a really lovely soul who continues to overcome and thrive with cancer. At the bottom is the free 8-minute pep talk meditation which I love listening to every now and again.
