Plot: When a woman finally finds the missing family she has been hunting for 13 years, she is overjoyed. However, nothing can prepare her for what her family has become.The Exposed is a short film dealing with the dark side of family life; its about the choices some people have to face, whether they want to or not. Catherine is on the run with her two sons, running from a family that is not exactly accepting, especially after a suicide changes the course of everyone's life. When she comes face to face with someone from her past, she must face up to the reality she thought she had left behind for good, a reality she has kept hidden from her two children until now. The Exposed is a dark thriller about hidden lives, about not being who we want to be and coming face to face with who we really are deep down inside; about the power of family, both good and bad, about running from our past and who we once were and revealing the person we are now.
