A bit, also known as a Shannon, is the basic unit of information in computing and digital communications. A bit can have only one of two values, and may therefore be physically implemented with a two-state device. These values are most commonly represented as either a 0or1. The term bit is a portmanteau of binary digit.
The two values can also be interpreted as logical values (true/false, yes/no), algebraic signs (+/−), activation states (on/off), or any other two-valued attribute. The correspondence between these values and the physical states of the underlying storage or device is a matter of convention, and different assignments may be used even within the same device or program. The length of a binary number may be referred to as its bit-length.
In information theory, one bit is typically defined as the uncertainty of a binary random variable that is 0 or 1 with equal probability, or the information that is gained when the value of such a variable becomes known.
In quantum computing, a quantum bit or qubit is a quantum system that can exist in superposition of two classical (i.e., non-quantum) bit values.
Major is a military rank of commissioned officer, with corresponding ranks existing in many military forces. When used unhyphenated, in conjunction with no other indicators, the rank is just senior to that of an army captain and right below the rank of lieutenant colonel. It is considered the most junior of the field officer ranks.
Majors are typically assigned as specialized executive or operations officers for battalion-sized units of 300 to 1,200 soldiers. In some militaries, notably France and Ireland, the rank of major is referred to as commandant, while in others it is known as captain-major. It is also used in some police forces and other paramilitary rank structures, such as the New York State Police, New Jersey State Police and several others. As a police rank, Major roughly corresponds to the UK rank of Superintendent.
When used in hyphenated or combined fashion, the term can also imply seniority at other levels of rank, including general-major or major general, denoting a mid-level general officer, and sergeant major, denoting the most senior NCO of a military unit. The term Major can also be used with a hyphen to denote the leader of a military band such as in pipe-major or drum-major.
The air kiss is a ritual or social gesture whose meaning is basically the same as that of many forms of kissing. The air kiss is a pretence of kissing: the lips are pursed as if kissing, but without actually touching the other person's body. Sometimes, the air kiss includes touching cheek-to-cheek. Also, the gesture may be accompanied by the mwah sound. The onomatopoeic word mwah has entered Webster's dictionary.
A symbolic kiss is frequent in Western cultures. A kiss can be "blown" to another by kissing the fingertips and then blowing the fingertips, pointing them in the direction of the recipient. This is used to convey affection, usually when parting or when the partners are physically distant but can view each other. Blown kisses are also used when a person wishes to convey affection to a large crowd or audience. The term flying kiss is used in India to describe a blown kiss.
In North America and most western countries influenced by North America, air kisses are sometimes associated with glamor models and other celebrities. It is a modified cheek kiss, involving kissing in the air near the cheek, with the cheeks touching or not.

This is a Famitracker recreation of the main theme to Hearthstone composed by Peter McConnell. It uses the FDS expansion to add the channel on the far right. The video is of Famitracker playing the song and my first Hearthstone match against another human so it's not exactly high level play. Also, I blacked out the opponents name just to be safe. I love the music in this game and the game is pretty neat too. The pixel Hearthstone logo is from gerrithalfmann on deviantart.com. Download it from my bandcamp! Ever dreamed of what you could do with a $30,000 computer? Turns out the answer is "a lot". In our case, we created 7 discrete gaming systems capable of running concurrently and completely independently of each other - all running in a single tower. All the hardware in this video was provided by the respective manufacturers, but Kingston is the one who stepped up and footed the bill for us to spend the MASSIVE amount of time it took to bring this project to life. My Project:65 is (going to be) an 8-bit homebrew computer. In this video, I've got two of the major pieces in place: the 6502 CPU and a 2865 EEPROM storing a simple program. Right now the only way to monitor what the CPU is doing is by watching the activity on its address and data lines. One of my childhood favorites from the Atari 8-bit computer got a major overhaul on the NES. It's also a favorite NES soundtrack of mine so in preparation for the recording session I sat down to play and talk about it and my memories. Boulder Dash SAS Sakata, JVC Digital Studios Nintendo Entertainment System, June 1990 Stoneford, an old adventurer, ill in bed, called his son, Rockford, to his side. Handing Rockford an old map, he said: "My son, you must take up the quest I never completed. Find the Secret Jewels of the Six Worlds, and you will be rich beyond your wildest dreams!" These were his final words. As Rockford, your quest begins in the strange and perilous Boulder World. An underground world swarming with weird enemies, all out to prevent you from collecting the priceless diamon...

Episode #112 - Atari 8 bit Music - Classics & Covers The soundchip of the Atari XL/XE computer wasn't necessarily regarded as its major strength. It got four channels, which made Atarians proud. Yet those four channels were of pretty little sound power. But this makes the classic tunes by Rob Hubbard, David Gilmore and others appear even more impressive. It is an amazing range of sound design, that those pioneers reached in the 80s already. But this was not the end of the story of the Atari 8-bit music. During the more recent years a lot of development has been made to reach a sound quality incomparable to what one would expect from the poor old Pokey - both from a composing and technically view: great compositions and covers, 8 channels stereo, filtering and more. Get an insight into the ...
I've got less feelings than flies on ceilings,
For anything that has to do with human ass beings.
They don't know how to treat me, yo.
I ain't X5763P0.
You plug me in and I clean the house,
God damn cat hair, all up in my mouth.
You ain't watchin TV, I'm watchin' you.
And you're an ugly ass motherfucker too.
As soon as you open your mouth, I wanna hit it.
Keep your thoughts to yourself 'cause I could give a shit.
These robots are down for drugs, rappin', extortion.
Everytime I see you, I wish your mom had an abortion.
You ain't no robot and you sure ain't no rapper.
I leave shit like you behind in a crapper.
You were drawn to the robot-thug lifestyle,
And you believe the bullshit you saw in 8 Mile.
You ain't no robot, bitch!
You were created from jizz.
You ain't no robot,
You've got to take a whiz.
You ain't no robot,
Your skin ain't chrome.
You ain't no robot,
You call this planet home, bitch!
Motherfuckin' fuckers all over my shit,
'Cause I'm a robot down with 8-Bit.
Goin' ancient on the motherfuckin' mic,
All my God damn fuckin' skills keepin' it tight, bitch.
Fuck, shit, fuck.
My Tourette's be actin' up.
It's just a glitch that some solder will fix.
Motherfucking technical assistance is needed,
While you all sorry ass humans still bleeding.
Humans ain't shit, but shit on my shoe.
But then again, what's new?
And who the fuck asked you?
A one night stand with your kind is so bland.
Gotta listen to 'em talk 'cause they ain't preprogrammed.
I'm free of toe-jam and clean as a whistle,
But don't know how to smile 'cause the earth is a shit hole.
Flooded with toxins, I feel like I'm locked in.
What's the fuckin' point of me talkin'?
You ain't no robot, bitch!
You were created from jizz.
You ain't no robot,
You've got to take a whiz.
You ain't no robot,
Your skin ain't chrome.
You ain't no robot,
You call this planet home, bitch!
