The Pennsylvania State University (commonly referred to as Penn State or PSU) is a public, Flagship, state-related, Land-grant, Sea-grant, Space-grant, Sun-grant, research-intensive university with campuses and facilities throughout Pennsylvania. Founded in 1855, the university has a stated threefold mission of teaching, research, and public service. Its instructional mission includes undergraduate, graduate, professional and continuing education offered through resident instruction and online delivery. Its University Park campus, the flagship campus, lies within the Borough of State College and College Township. It has two law schools, Penn State Law, on the school's University Park campus, and Dickinson Law, located in Carlisle, 90 miles South of State College. The College of Medicine is located in Hershey. Penn State has another 19 commonwealth campuses and 5 special-mission campuses located across the state. Penn State has been labeled a candidate for being one of the "Public Ivies," a publicly funded university considered as providing a quality of education comparable to those of the Ivy League.
Penn State Hazleton is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University. It is located in Sugarloaf Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, near the junction of Interstates 80 and 81. The campus occupies over 100 acres (0.40 km2) in Sugarloaf Township and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 full and part-time students; both traditional and non-traditional.
Penn State Hazleton's origins trace back to 1934 during the depths of the Great Depression. Since this was a time when many people could not afford to go to college, the college came to the people. At the request of Hazleton's community leaders, a community survey was completed by the Pennsylvania State College's extension services to determine the actual extent of the need and community support for a center. Hazleton was one of 14 communities to request a center, and only four requests were fulfilled. In September 1934, the Hazleton Undergraduate Center opened with 47 full-time and 60 part-time evening students. The freshman and sophomore students began their studies in Hazleton and completed their degree at Penn State's University Park campus in State College or another institution.

http://www.clubs.psu.edu/up/iranian This presentation was produced by members of the Iranian Student Association (ISA) at the Pennsylvania State University for ISA's 2013 Noe-Rooz Gala. It was primarily intended to provide non-Iranians with a glimpse of the geographical, cultural, and ethnic diversity of our beloved country, Iran. ISA has decided to share this presentation with the proviso that the material contained therein may not necessarily provide the best representation of the different regions of our great country. It is by no means intended to be a comprehensive representation of the geographical, cultural, and ethnic diversity of Iran. Sandusky, Ohio's tourism department pulled this TV travel spot due to its unfortunate phrasing and parallels to Jerry Sandusky and the Penn State football scandal. It's still a great place for adventure in the USA. http://JasonSereno.com Actually this isn't a travel tourism commercial at all. It's a big set of really, really bad puns that a group of comedians created one night while drinking. We laughed real hard about it and then made this video, which we kind of regretted before we even finished filming. But also, these are just puns, right? Puns can't hurt people - can they? Ugh, let's leave it up to the pundits to debate. Time to roll and L and smoke a B, player. sandusky, ohio sandusky ohio sandusky ohio ohio travel ohio tourism sandusky tourism travel ohio tourism and travel travel...

The naked eye has limits as to what it can see, track, and evaluate. Dartfish advanced video technology software goes beyond the human eye using new technology to investigate movement from a different angle of view. Dartfish is being used in the Kinesiology classes of Intermediate Swimming and Indoor Team Sport at Penn State Hazleton. By using Dartfish, the students visually see their own strengths and weaknesses in the water for unlimited learning. This session will explore how we analyze movement both in the classroom and research.
