Another Minister from PM Narendra Modi’s cabinet is in the news for the wrong reasons.
Union Culture Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma’s security personnel badly beaten up a housing society’s guard in Ghaziabad on Friday.
The VVIP security guards thrashed guard at a housing society for allegedly making the minister wait at the gate.
What was more shocking was that the minister did not intervene and sped away from the scene.
The guard who was beaten up said, “It took hardly two minutes for us to open the gate, still Minister ji’s security thrashed and abused us”.
The whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera located on the gate.
The CCTV footage shows that the minister did not stop his security personnel from slapping the guards as his convoy passed out.
Meanwhile, the minister has issued a statement saying, “I think people want to politicise the issue. They are making issue out of nothing. Police can take action. I was not present there when scuffle broke out.”
He added, “It is true that I have gone there at Ashina Society to meet sister. They made me wait for some time, later they given me permission to enter. In my absence my private gaurds indulged in the scuffle. When I came back I apologised immediately.”

Another Minister from PM Narendra Modi’s cabinet is in the news for the wrong reasons.
Union Culture Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma’s security personnel badly beaten up a housing society’s guard in Ghaziabad on Friday.
The VVIP security guards thrashed guard at a housing society for allegedly making the minister wait at the gate.
What was more shocking was that the minister did not intervene and sped away from the scene.
The guard who was beaten up said, “It took hardly two minutes for us to open the gate, still Minister ji’s security thrashed and abused us”.
The whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera located on the gate.
The CCTV footage shows that the minister did not stop his security personnel from slapping the guards as his convoy passed out.
Meanwhile, the minister has issued a statement saying, “I think people want to politicise the issue. They are making issue out of nothing. Police can take action. I was not present there when scuffle broke out.”
He added, “It is true that I have gone there at Ashina Society to meet sister. They made me wait for some time, later they given me permission to enter. In my absence my private gaurds indulged in the scuffle. When I came back I apologised immediately.”

After turning a MLC, Shiva Reddy goes on to become a minister and decides to take revenge on Lucky’s family. First Ram is defamed in the public which makes him lose his job, their legally built house is demolished and someone informs Ram and Shekhar's father that Lucky stole the jeep. Ram beats up Lucky in full public view, accuses him of giving fake love to the family to cover up his mistake, and throws him out of the family, telling him to never return, at which point his mother suffers a heart attack. Lucky is attacked by Shiva Reddy, who gloats to him about his power and how Lucky's "attitude" will always keep the useless wastrel he is. Lucky escapes after Shiva Reddy brutally beats him and plans to take revenge on Shiva Reddy with the help of Home Minister Govardhan, whom he helped in the past by projecting him as a philanthropist. He fools him by saying that he is suffering from leukemia and requests him to charge him as a special police officer along with a team of frustrated police officers. He also asks him to do a 12-hour prayer so that there might be a chance of his survival for which he should not remain in contact with anyone. Govardhan accepts his requests and makes him a special police officer along with a team of frustrated police officers headed by Kill Bill Pandey. Lucky hatches a plan to capture some of his assets and he fools Shiva Reddy and gets the list of his assets. Lucky arrests Ram as the first act of the day in front of his family, knowing that the honest Ram would try to stop Lucky from bringing justice illegally to Shiva Reddy. With the help of media and Kill Bill Pandey, he traps Shiva Reddy and his father. Now frustrated, Govardhan requests Ram to stop him by reinstating him. As Lucky arrests Shiva Reddy, Ram arrests him and takes him to the police station where the Chief Minister and Govardhan decide to kill Lucky. Ram initially agrees, but realizes that Lucky did all of this to show his brotherly love for Ram. With a change of heart, Ram tells them to let Lucky go as he is innocent. After Lucky makes his demands that this team should continue and Kill Bill Pandey must be its leader in order to hide the fact that Shiva Reddy's destruction was a personal agenda and tell them to give these powers to sincere police officers for a better future. While conversing they let Shiva Reddy run from the jail. As he runs, he is killed by the constable Rajeev who happened to be the eye witness of Shekhar's murder. Lucky and Ram get united, like their mother wished, while Kill Bill gives a speech. The film ends with a happy note as the family reunites.

A young journalist Bharathi (Genelia D'Souza), along with two of her friends, investigate a series of terrorist attacks which have taken place in Chennai and also illegal activities like women trafficking. When they are caught video-recording illicit activities happening in a secluded house one night by a group of thugs, they attempt to flee from them. While Bharathi's friends are killed, Bharathi manages to escape despite being stabbed by one of the thugs. But after the attack on Bharathi and her friends, the thugs' vehicle explodes due to a small mishap when a matchstick falls over petrol packets stored in the vehicle, killing all the thugs. Bharathi comes up with a new idea to eradicate society's evils by creating and propagating a fictional character called "Velayudham" who wants to clean up the city of terrorism and other illegal activities.
The scene then shifts to a village called Pavunoor, where a milk vendor named Velayudham aka Velu (Vijay) is residing with his younger sister Kaveri (Saranya Mohan), whom he loves dearly. There is also his cousin Vaidehi (Hansika Motwani), who is infatuated by him and even seduces him by showing him her navel. One day, they together leave for Chennai to collect money from a chit fund for Kaveri's marriage. At the Chennai Egmore railway station, Velu's money is stolen by Speedu (Santhanam), a petty thief. He pursues Speedu on a motorbike parked at the station and manages to get back his money, but moments after alighting from the bike, the bike explodes. The parked bike was meant to ensure a terrorist attack at the railway station, and thus, Velu inadvertently thwarted a deadly terrorist attack which would have killed several people. After a few more incidents where Velu unknowingly prevents more terrorist attacks, he comes to the attention of Bharathi. She convinces him to take up the role of Velayudham and provide hope to the people. In the avatar of Velayudham, Velu starts to eradicate the evils that pertain within the society such as corruption, prostitution and terrorism among others. He soon gains wide support and acceptance among the public and even the police.
A few months later, Velu returns to Pavunoor for Kaveri's marriage. Unknown to him, the leader of a terrorist group Muzamin Ibrahim (Abhimanyu Singh) follows him to the village. Ibrahim wants to kill him since he, in the garb of Velayudham, had thwarted every terrorist attack he had planned in Chennai. On the day of Kaveri's marriage, a bomb planted by Ibrahim at Velu's house explodes, killing Kaveri.
A few days after Kaveri's death, a grieving Velu learns from Bharathi that the corrupt Home Minister of Tamil Nadu Ulaganathan (Vineet Kumar) is responsible for the terrorist attacks and also Kaveri's death. He allowed Ibrahim to carry out terrorist attacks in exchange for money. He even tries to gain popularity by claiming Velayudham as his idea, planning to reveal Ibrahim as Velayudham's real identity in a function at the Nehru Stadium, Chennai. The movie story deals with Ram and Lakshman aka Lucky both are brothers and are polar opposites in nature. While the former is an assistant commissioner of police trying to put factionist turned politician Shiva Reddy behind the bars, Lucky is a happy-go-lucky guy aiming for a visa to the U.S.A. Their mother wishes to see them united. Shiva Reddy kills Shekhar, a sincere ACP who happens to be Ram's friend and Shekhar's father wants to stop Shiva Reddy from contesting in the elections and eventually get him arrested. Lucky falls for Spandana, a very stoic person who shows little emotion as taught by her father, Bheem Prakash who believes that one can control the world if he can control his emotions. After meeting Lucky on a regular basis, she turns expressive and reciprocates his love. Ram comes to know this and informs Prakash that Lucky is fit for nothing and is useless thus making Prakash reject him.Ram and Lucky starts fighting for this, Lucky gets slapped by his mother and this infuriates him. He then vows to destroy Ram's life. Ram wants to stop Shiva Reddy from contesting and gathers proofs for all his atrocities from ACP Shekhar's father.However the police jeep which also has the file containing the proofs is stolen by Lucky and his friends. Lucky is attacked by Shiva Reddy's henchmen because of which he comes to know that Shiva Reddy wanted to kill Ram. He fatally attacks Shiva Reddy and comes to know that Ram was a sincere police officer and starts to love him, which Ram reciprocates. To divert Ram's attention from the jeep theft case, he and Spandana decide to get him married to his lover Shweta who broke up with Ram due to Lucky's mischief. After turning a MLC, Shiva Reddy goes on to become a minister and decides to take revenge on Lucky’s family. First Ram is defamed in the public which makes him lose his job, their legally built house is demolished and someone informs Ram and Shekhar's father that Lucky stole the jeep. Ram beats up Lucky in full public view, accuses him of giving fake love to the family to cover up his mistake, and throws him out of the family, telling him to never return, at which point his mother suffers a heart attack. Lucky is attacked by Shiva Reddy, who gloats to him about his power and how Lucky's "attitude" will always keep the useless wastrel he is. Lucky escapes after Shiva Reddy brutally beats him and plans to take revenge on Shiva Reddy with the help of Home Minister Govardhan, whom he helped in the past by projecting him as a philanthropist. He fools him by saying that he is suffering from leukemia and requests him to charge him as a special police officer along with a team of frustrated police officers. He also asks him to do a 12-hour prayer so that there might be a chance of his survival for which he should not remain in contact with anyone. Govardhan accepts his requests and makes him a special police officer along with a team of frustrated police officers headed by Kill Bill Pandey. Lucky hatches a plan to capture some of his assets and he fools Shiva Reddy and gets the list of his assets. Lucky arrests Ram as the first act of the day in front of his family, knowing that the honest Ram would try to stop Lucky from bringing justice illegally to Shiva Reddy. With the help of media and Kill Bill Pandey, he traps Shiva Reddy and his father. Now frustrated, Govardhan requests Ram to stop him by reinstating him. As Lucky arrests Shiva Reddy, Ram arrests him and takes him to the police station where the Chief Minister and Govardhan decide to kill Lucky. Ram initially agrees, but realizes that Lucky did all of this to show his brotherly love for Ram. With a change of heart, Ram tells them to let Lucky go as he is innocent. After Lucky makes his demands that this team should continue and Kill Bill Pandey must be its leader in order to hide the fact that Shiva Reddy's destruction was a personal agenda and tell them to give these powers to sincere police officers for a better future. While conversing they let Shiva Reddy run from the jail. As he runs, he is killed by the constable Rajeev who happened to be the eye witness of Shekhar's murder. Lucky and Ram get united, like their mother wished, while Kill Bill gives a speech. The film ends with a happy note as the family reunites.
