As a lover of Korean cuisine I'm constantly craving certain Korean foods such as Pajeon, Bibimbap or Kimchi fried rice. Whenever possible I try to get my fix at Korean restaurants overseas; however, it is often not as good, authentic or as cheap as it is in some of my favorite Korean restaurants in

Erskine Falls are at the end of Erskine Falls Road 10km north west of Lorne. There is a viewing point above the falls and a walking track, steep in places, leads to the base of the falls. The falls cascade over one of the highest drops in the Otways.
The Erskine falls drop 30 metres in to the fern-lined valley of the Erskine River. Located nine kilometres from Lorne, and signposted from Mountjoy Parade, there is only a short walk to what is one of the most beautiful falls in the Otways.
The pretty Erskine River, at the foot of the falls, is flanked by ancient ferns, shrubs and native trees, continually moist from the fine mist of water dancing over the rock face.
It has inspired thousands of of bush lovers over the decades. Even the poet and novelist Rudyard Kipling wrote of buying a frond of fern “gathered where the Erskine leaps down the road to Lorne”.
Erskine Falls Walk - Lorne
Time (one way) 3 hours - Distance 7.5 km
Organise two cars or a lift for this walk. Don’t try it if water levels are high. Start at the Erskine Falls carpark. Pass Straw Falls and Splitter’s Falls (named after early timber splitter''s) and continue through the natural amphitheatre used last century for church services. Continue to the bridge over the Erskine River in Lorne.

Vung Tau (Vũng Tàu) is a city in Southern Vietnam. It is 125 km (about 77 miles) from Ho Chi Minh City, and is a popular destination for weekend trips from Ho Chi Minh City.
Vung Tau is the tourist and commercial center of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (an industrial province in Southeastern Vietnam). The whole city area lies on a peninsula which is separated from the mainland by a gulf river called Co May river.

Vũng Tàu Lighthouse, On top of Small Mountain. First built in 1907 on the lower peak of Small Mount, it burned kerosene in its lamp. In 1911, it was rebuilt to 3 meters in diameter and 18 meters in height, and moved to the higher peak where it stands today. The Vũng Tàu Lighthouse projects light as far as 35 sea miles (64.75 km) and is equipped with telescopes to follow and direct ships at sea
Đình Thần Thắng Tam (Thắng Tam Temple), Thắng Tam Ward, Vung Tau City (From the Front Beach, follow Truong Cong Dinh St. to Tran Hung Dao Park. Here take Hoang Hoa Tham Street to Thang Tam). Aka Thang Tam’s Local Gods Communal House, is a special feature in Vũng Tàu. According to legend, it was built in the Minh Mạng dynasty (1820-1840) as a place to worship the three men who set up the 3 villages of Thắng in Vũng Tàu. Visit this site to discover the story of the three men who led three villages’s inhabitants to Vũng Tàu and started a new way of life. The architecture is particularly interesting around the Tam Quan gate, the sanctum, the public commune, the meeting room and the scene for military opera stage that is skillfully engraved.
Đài Liệt Sĩ (Martyr's Memorial), Lê Hồng Phong Street. A stone obelisk on a hill-top, located on the way to the sea, the Martyr's Memorial hill is said to be the biggest traffic circle in Indochina. A cool hang-out place for lovers. edit
Statue of Jesus Christ with outstretched arms, On top of Small Mountain. The enormous 28m figure of Jesus gazing across the East Sea with outstretched arms is located at the southern end of Small mountain. Built in 1971, this Giant Jesus rests on a 10m high platform. The interior of the statue is hollow and contains a spiral staircase of 129 steps, ascending from the foot of the statue to its neck. The two shoulders of the figure are balconies, each able to accommodate up to six people, which offer a splendid view of the surrounding landscape. This is the largest sculpture in the Southern Vietnam. Recent construction of a pathway has made the 30-minute hike up the mountain more pleasant and the panoramic view from various vista points along the way is magnificent. Definitely a must do! edit
Beautiful pagodas, Small Mount top. Niết Bàn Tịnh Xá and Thích Ca Phật Đài are most popular among the pagodas and temples in Vũng Tàu.
Bạch Dinh (Villa Blanche), Along Trần Phú Street. Built by the French (1898-1916) as a summer holiday house of French Governor General Paul Doumer. The building was named Villa Blanche after his favorite daughter. The name Villa Blanche or Bach Dinh coincides its appearance, for that season, the local people call it Bạch Dinh (White palace). Later, some Indochina-French Governors used this summer house occasionally so it’s also called “Villa du Gouverneur” (Dinh Toan Quyen). Both Ngo Dinh Diem and Nguyen Van Thieu used it as well for recreation and holiday. It made the name Dinh Ong Thuong (Palace of Lord appear). Villa Blanche is located on the slop of Big Mountain, along Tran Phu St., at 50m above sea level. The outside walls were decorated with beading and the Hellenic statues. This was also the location where the French colonialists placed Thanh Thai Kin under house arrest. He belonged to the last feudalistic dynasty in Vietnam and fought against the French before exiling him to Reunion Island off the coast of Africa (1909-1910). From its balcony there's a panoramic view of Front Beach and opposite the Villa at the foot of that mountain is Hai Nguu islet with a stone rock shaped like a water buffalo wallowing in water. Next to Hai Nguu at the seaside was the helicopter yard. Today Villa Blanche exhibits hundreds of antiques collected from Cau Islet-Con Dao and is the culture destination attracts hundreds of tourists every day.

Back to Basics and back to Nature. Glenmalure Youth Hostel in County Wicklow, “The Garden of Ireland”, is a simple mountain lodge in the style of an Irish traditional house but it’s for that very reason that it’s so popular. Set in a place of great beauty that is both iconic and tranquil, it was originally built as a Hunting Lodge in 1903. Glenmalure has no running water and no electricity so it’s perfect for nature lovers who want to get away from it all and have a unique experience. Don’t worry too much – there is a gas-powered cooker and gas-powered fridge and chemical toilet and there’s a stream nearby for water to boil and plenty of wood logs to keep the open fire going well into the night. This provides the perfect atmosphere for discussions and the opportunity to cultivate new friendships, have some banter or even a good old sing song.
Glenmalure is a U-shaped glacial valley in the Wicklow Mountains with only one road leading in or out. The Avonbeg River flows at the back of the hostel and the serenity in the area is really something special. The Lodge is also the subject of the ghostly play “The Last House in the Glen” by Marion McEvoy and it tells the story of the lodge with some spooky happenings! It is also referred in J.M Synge’s play In ”The Shadow of the Glen” whose opening line are ”The Last Cottage at the Head of the Long Glen in Wicklow…” referring to Glenmalure Youth Hostel. There is more information on this period and its history available at the Hostel.
It is steeped in history – it has seen war, destruction and famine. Prior to it being a hostel, in its early years, key historical figures spent time in this lodge including Irish Republican freedom fighters such as Countess Markievicz, Maud Gonne, her son Sean McBride, a founding member of Amnesty International and served as its International Chairman and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work. It also hosted Eamon De Valera and Erskine Childers who later became President of Ireland as well as famous literary figures such as Ireland’s most famous poet, W.B. Yeats, who wrote poems inspired by Maud Gonne and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. Those in the literary, political and arts circles also frequented the Lodge in those early years such as the artist Francis Stuart, the famous playwright Lennox Robinson, Margaret Pearse and Hanna Sheedy Skeffington to mention just a few. The late Garret Fitzgerald also frequented Glenmalure as well as being a life long member of An Óige.
The Avonbeg River flows at the back of the hostel and the serenity and the natural beauty of this immediate area is just stunning. Hiking around this particular area is simply fantastic .On one scale you will find yourself at the base of Lugnaquilla Mountain which is the highest Mountain in Leinster and the third highest one on the island. Mountaineers will say that it is arguably the most difficult one to tackle and a real challenge. On the other hand there is a network of great hikes and trails that even the most inexperienced hill walker can enjoy. There are maps and information available free at the hostel. However do be careful, this is Ireland and the weather conditions can vary, do seek advice before setting off! We can provide guides if pre-booked in advance for free.
The little hostel is very popular with groups who want to get away from it all for a night. The hostel can accommodate up to 16 people for to rent it out completely and is in great demand from all sorts of groups from stag parties to Scout groups and the like! While cosy and snug in the hostel, just watch that you don’t tell too many ghost stories in case you scare yourself too much. Enjoy a real Irish back-to-nature experience staying at Glenmalure Hostel.
Please note as this is a mountain lodge with basic facilities, it is NOT registered through Fáilte Ireland.

Da Nang (à Nẵng) is Vietnam's third largest city, and is located on the Eastern Sea coast, midway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and the largest city of Central Vietnam.
The city itself has neither the atmosphere of Hanoi nor the hustle-bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, but has its share of sights and is close to the charms of Hoi An and the imperial capital of Hue, making it a popular vacationing spot for those looking to explore the attractions of central Vietnam or soak up some rays while hanging out on the city's beaches.

Cham Museum (Bảo Tàng Chăm), Trung Nu Vuong and Bach Dang Sts. Founded in 1915 by the École Française d'Extrême Orient, it houses a collection of stone sculptures from the Hindu-practicing Cham civilization, which occupied much of central Vietnam in the first millennium AD through about the 14th century. Entrance is 30,000VND, and the museum can be toured in about an hour. The sculptures are nearly all made of sandstone, and some have weathered badly over the centuries, but you can still appreciate the delightful artistic quality of the figures, which include Shiva, garudas, nagas, lions, monkeys, and elephants. The collection also includes striking examples of the ancient Hindu icons of fertility -- lingam altars decorated around the sides with rows of breasts. The sculptures were mostly removed from the facades or interiors of Cham ruins (which would have been looted otherwise.) The ruins themselves, such as nearby My Son, now tend to be crumbling piles of bricks and somewhat disappointing, giving little sense of the spectacular artwork produced by the Cham civilization. Any visit to My Son should be paired with the Cham Museum. The collection is also interesting to compare with Balinese sculpture and the early, Hindu phase of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son; admission 15,000 dong, tel. 511.961114)] are 9 km south of downtown and across the street from many of the larger beach side resorts. In other words, despite being mountains, they are within the city limits and very accessible (15-30 minutes from your hotel depending on your location). The group includes Kim Son (Mountain of Metal), Moc Son (Mountain of Wood), Thuy Son (Mountain of Water), Hoa Son (Mountain of Fire), and Tho Son (Mountain of Earth). Several Buddhist temples have been built into the caves and grottoes, and it's a popular pilgrimage site. The real fun, though, is at the Am Phu cave, where you can make the steep climb up toward the light and a view from the top of the mountain, surrounded by approving sacred images...or head in the opposite direction, physically and spiritually, down to the crude Hieronymous Bosch-esque statues of sinners getting their due in the caverns below, with appropriately eerie lighting. Either way, bring walking or climbing shoes. Please note that exploring all five mountains might be ambitious for a single day's touring and would probably require quite a few hours. For those who would rather just visit one because of limitations on time or energy, go to Thuy Son which is the largest of all of the mountains with the most features to explore (including the aforementioned Am Phu cave). Open-tour buses will stop here, but you'll be rushed along; any moto driver in Da Nang or Hoi An will be happy to take you and let you set the schedule. Guides are available. Watch out for the rapacious statue-sellers outside, though.
Ba Na Hill Station 45 minutes drive from Danang or around 40 km (25 mi) west of Danang, Ba Na is located 1,487 meters above sea level in the Truong Son mountain range. Ba Na was formerly a 1920's French resort and once boasted 200 villas, restaurants, and clubs. It is well known as the second Da Lat or Sa Pa in central Vietnam. Its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the South China Sea and the Lao mountain range made Ba Na a popular retreat for both the French and the wealthy Vietnamese. Today the area still attracts locals and tourists alike thanks to a new cable system that was officially opened on 25th March 2009 and set two Guinness World Records for its height and length. You need to get a taxi to Suoi Mo station (25$ one-way from Danang) then pay 300.000 VND per adult (250.000 VND for children between 1m and 1,3m tall, free admission for children under 1m tall) for the ticket to the cable car and the Fantasy Park which is still under construction. Great view from the top but it's really useless to stay overnight since the accomodations are shabby and terribly overpriced (80-150$ per night).

Bells Beach is a coastal locality of Victoria, Australia in Surf Coast Shire and a renowned surf beach, located 100 km south-west of Melbourne, on the Great Ocean Road near the towns of Torquay and Jan Juc.
It is named after John Cavert Bell of the family that first took up a pastoral run there in the 1840s. The beach and coastal reserve are listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
Surfing
Bells Beach is the home of the world's longest-running surfing competition – the Rip Curl Pro Surf & Music Festival. The event was formerly known as the Bells Beach Surf Classic. The competition was first held in January 1961 and then at Easter every year since although occasionally, when conditions at Bells aren't suitable, the competition has been transferred to other breaks such as Johanna& Woolamai.
As early as 1939 surfers from Torquay made their way to Bells but access was a considerable problem until 1960 when Torquay surfers and Olympic wrestler Joe Sweeney hired a bulldozer and cleared a road along the Bells cliff from the Cobb & Co Road, where the concrete wave now stands, down to the beach. He charged one pound per surfer to recover his expenses. This is now part of the Torquay to Anglesea walking track.
Nearby surf breaks include "Southside", "Centreside", "Rincon", "Winki Pop", (Uppers and Lowers), "Boobs" and "Steps". Although Bells is known internationally as one of the best breaks in Victoria, "Winki Pop" often works better under more diverse conditions than the other nearby breaks
Australian Surf rider's Association- ASA(Victorian Branch)- Now called Surfing Victoria hosted and staged Bells from its inception 1963. They also ran the conservation contest which included tree planting every year since the mid 70's

The Great Ocean Road (B100) is one of Australia’s most famous road-touring routes. It takes travellers past world-class surfing breaks, through pockets of rainforest, calm seaside towns and under koala-filled tree canopies. It shows off sheer limestone cliffs, dairy farms and heathlands, and gets you up close and personal with the crashing waves of the Southern Ocean.
Hunt out the isolated beaches and lighthouses in between the towns, and the thick eucalypt forests in the Otway hinterlands to really escape the crowds. Rather than heading straight to the Great Ocean Road, a fork in the road in Geelong can take you the long, leisurely way there through the Bellarine Peninsula, which allows you to visit charming Queenscliff and wineries en route.
Day-tripping tourists from Melbourne rush in and out of the area in less than 12 hours but, in a perfect world, you’d spend at least a week here.
The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometres (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the world's largest war memorial. Winding through varying terrain along the coast and providing access to several prominent landmarks, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stack formations, the road is an important tourist attraction in the region.

I miss Korea these days for a lot of reasons; however, maybe none more significant than the food. As a lover of Korean cuisine I'm constantly craving certain Korean foods such as Pajeon, Bibimbap or Kimchi fried rice. Whenever possible I try to get my fix at Korean restaurants overseas; however, it is often not as good, authentic or as cheap as it is in some of my favorite Korean restaurants in Seoul. I'm hoping I'll soon be able to return to Korea to eat my way around the country. In the meantime, enjoy this Korean cuisine guide featuring some of my favorite Korean dishes and restaurants in South Korea:
1) Kimbap (김밥), aside from Korean street food, is the cheapest Korean cuisine you can purchase. Our favorite Korean Gimbap restaurant was located just around the corner from Audrey's Korean apartment in Yongin. We ended up going there often. Typically I'd order Kimchi fried rice and she'd get Korean tuna soup. Known in Korean as Kimchi bokkeumbap (김치 볶음밥) this was my favorite Korean style fried rice. Audrey on the other hand, couldn't get enough of Kimchi Chamchi Jjigae (김치 참치찌개).
2) To ward off the frigid Korean winters we'd typically go out for some Gamjatang (감자탕) - hearty Korean stew. Similar to Haejeongguk, this spicy pork bone soup featured plenty of vegetables, wild sesame seeds and potatoes
3) For Valentines day we decided to skip the chocolate and candy and instead treat ourselves to a Korean feast set meal. Hanjeongsik (한정식) is a full-course Korean meal with a varied array of banchan (반찬 - side dishes). This is the kind of meal where' you'll want to skip breakfast and dinner for.
4) As is the case in many other countries, Chinese cuisine - that is unique to that particular country and not traditional mainland Chinese cuisine - exists in South Korea. In other words, the Korean Chinese food you try while in Korea is unique to Korea and does not exist in China. We got to try some of our personal favorites: Jajangmyeon (자장면) noodles in a black bean paste and Tangsuyuk (탕수육). Greasy goodness!
5) In Korea, certain dishes are suited towards certain activities and/or weather. When it's raining outside and/or if you're climbing a mountain than it is common to eat Korean style seafood pizza (also known as Korean seafood pancakes. The Korean name is Haemul Pajeon (해물파전) and it is best paired with a milky fermented rice alcohol known as Makgeolli (막걸리).
6) Korean tea houses are a perfect way to relax and warm up on a frigid winter day. Our favorite kinds of Korean tea are usually of the fruity variety. Insadong (인사동), in the heart of Seoul, is a good option for visiting a Korean tea house.
7) Our favorite Korean restaurant, located nearby my apartment in Pyeontaek, was a place we often frequented for dolsot bibimbap and sundubu jjigae; however, we finally decided to try its signature dish: Dakdoritang (닭도리탕) - a hearty and spicy Korean chicken stew. The only regret we had about this meal is that we hadn't tried it sooner!
8) Late at night, our favorite meal in Korea is Korean barbecue. A place nearby my apartment specialized in Samgyeopsal (삼겹살) and galbi (갈비) where we'd often go to feast! It's the perfect caveman meal focusing almost exclusively on meats and veggies with very few carbohydrates.
9) We've been saving this video for near the end - it's our favorite Korean restaurant. With such delicious food and lovely service we ate here often. We show you our favorite dishes dolsot bibimbap (돌솥 비빔밥) - a mixed rice and veggie dish - and sundubu jjigae (순두부찌개) - a tofu based soup.
10) Fancy Korean hot pot? Shabu-shabu (샤부샤부) is just what you're looking for. The fun in this meal is similar to that of a Korean barbecue where you get to cook your food at your own table.
This is part 2/2 of my Korean food and restaurant series. Do you think I covered the best in Korean cuisine? What did I miss? What is your favorite Korean dish?
This is part of our Travel in Korea series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Korean culture, Korean arts, Korean foods, Korean religion and Korean people.

Things to see in Glasgow
Passes:
There are no all-inclusive tourist passes in Glasgow, seeing as most of the attractions are free. However, a leaflet entitled Glasgow's Leading Attractions contains vouchers giving discounts to some attractions, such as the Willow Tea Rooms and a tour of the School of Art. This is available from the Tourist Information Centre or online
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
This gallery and museum, which underwent a £28 million refurbishment in 2006, houses 8,000 works of art, including a range of European paintings covering the 15th to the 17th centuries and the 1890s to the 1960s, as well as arms, armour, archaeology and natural history displays. There is also a collection of Egyptian treasures, a gallery dedicated to Charles Rennie Mackintosh and a Spitfire LA198 from the Glasgow Squadron. The permanent Glasgow 1900 exhibition features paintings, furniture and decorative art objects dating from turn-of-the-century Glasgow. Don't miss Salvador Dali's Christ of St John of the Cross, an affecting vision of the crucifixion painted as if from above.

Admission Fees: No
Disabled Access: No
Unesco: No
Address: Kelvin Park, Argyle Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom
St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art
This unusual museum has exhibitions that cover all the major religions and includes a Zen garden and a Mexican Day of the Dead skeleton. A short walk away is Glasgow Cathedral, founded by the city's patron saint, St Kentigern (or Mungo), in the sixth century - the present building dates from the 14th century.
Adjacent to the cathedral is the remarkable Necropolis, a Victorian garden cemetery that has some intriguing funerary architecture including pieces by Rennie Mackintosh and Alexander 'Greek' Thomson.

The Burrell Collection
The most famous of Glasgow's art museums, The Burrell Collection is a donation of 8,000 works of art from shipping magnate Sir William Burrell. In addition to paintings and drawings from the 15th to 19th century, the collection includes medieval European tapestries, stained glass and sculpture, as well as artworks from the Middle East and East Asia. The gallery opened in 1983, in the beautiful setting of Pollok Country Park. Also situated within the park is Pollok House , a fine old Georgian country house owned by the National Trust for Scotland. A courtesy bus runs around the park and stops at the Burrell buildings.

Gallery of Modern Art
Centrally located in the middle of Royal Exchange Square, the Gallery of Modern Art offers an up-to-date vision within its four floors of gallery space. Showcasing the works of living artists, the gallery has an eye on the future, with a learning library and art workshops. The elegant, neoclassical building itself is worth a look and offers a calming retreat from Glasgow's hectic shopping scene.

Since it is a working art school, admission is by guided tour only, at specified times. During the peak season, visitors are advised to reserve in advance.
