CORRUPTION allegations at
Sydney Airport have now extended to the waterfront, with reports wharf workers ferried drugs and guns through
Port Botany.
NORTHERN
Territory Police have arrested a serving member of the navy in relation to the break in and theft of weapons from a
Darwin navy base late last month.
THE
Opposition says the
Government is incapable with living within it's means after it reneged on a promise to deliver a budget surplus.
JAMES
Ashby will pursue his sexual harassment case against former
Federal Speaker
Peter Slipper with
Fair Work Australia. The case was thrown out of the
Federal court last week.
James Ashby's media advisor announced the next move at a costs hearing today.
JULIAN Assange has said his door is open for talks to break the deadlock that's seen him held up in
Ecuador's embassy in
London for 6 months. The WikiLeaks founder make an appearance on the balcony of the embassy before a crowd of supporters.
THE
White House dismissed the
Republicans latest plans for avoiding huge tax rises and spending cuts in the
New Year.
The Budget changes - the so called '
Fiscal Cliff', will be triggered automatically in eleven days unless
Congress can reach a deal.
IF
Mexico's
Mayan Calendar is correct, the world as we know it is supposed to end today. Thousands of people
across the world have been marking
the event with parties.
