It was called Lebanese Idol, I sang a Shakira song, Whenever, Wherever ... The Star Spangled Banner – I agree it’s a great song but the Canadian anthem is always going to be home for me ... What’s your favourite song in the world to sing? Killing Me Softly. I performed that song at the Apollo Theatre in New York City and I won first place with it. It was funny because during my audition, I sang an Alicia Keys song ... To me that’s a happy song....
