El entonces jefe del PV - 1, Roberto Chiabra elogiaba el valor de los soldados peruanos y comentaba las dificiles condiciones en las que se tenía que pelear.
este reportaje NO es para abrir viejas heridas sino para dar un testimonio de lo horrible que es una guerra y para dar un homenaje a aquellos jovenes Peruanos que dieron su vida por la soberania del Perú.
Cabe resaltar que hoy por hoy el Perú y Ecuador cuentan con una excelente relación de amistad y hermandad y juntos estan buscando el desarrollo de sus pueblos.
