The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has put the plan to set up a body to promote regional languages in the province on the back burner ... An educationist told Dawn on Friday that regional languages in the province were diminishing and instead they’re ‘overshadowed’ by English and Urdu with the passage of time ... He said the authority’s establishment would also help in preparation of textbooks for the five regional languages of the province....
