Hip Hop was the mascot of the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team. A rabbit character, Hip Hop usually entertained Sixers fans during halftime and time-outs by performing acrobatic slam dunks off of a trampoline, often over an item or person, such as a motorcycle, a Sixer Dancer, a fan, or a ladder.
Hip Hop also appeared at various Sixers publicity events and fundraisers. He has a sidekick named Lil Hip-Hop. He also has helpers named the Hare Raisers, who help him out at every home game.
It was revealed Hip-Hop would not be returning post lockout under new Sixers ownership. The decision was unanimous both from the new owners and the fan base.
In geometry, the hexagonal prism is a prism with hexagonal base. This polyhedron has 8 faces, 18 edges, and 12 vertices.
Since it has eight faces, it is an octahedron. However, the term octahedron is primarily used to refer to the regular octahedron, which has eight triangular faces. Because of the ambiguity of the term octahedron and the dissimilarity of the various eight-sided figures, the term is rarely used without clarification.
Before sharpening, many pencils take the shape of a long hexagonal prism.
If faces are all regular, the hexagonal prism is a semiregular polyhedron, more generally, a uniform polyhedron, and the fourth in an infinite set of prisms formed by square sides and two regular polygon caps. It can be seen as a truncated hexagonal hosohedron, represented by Schläfli symbol t{2,6}. Alternately it can be seen as the Cartesian product of a regular hexagon and a line segment, and represented by the product {6}×{}. The dual of a hexagonal prism is a hexagonal bipyramid.
Hip is a slang term sometimes defined as fashionably current, and in the know. It has also been defined as "an attitude, a stance" in opposition to the "unfree world", or to what is square, or prude.
Hip, like cool, does not refer to one specific quality. What is considered hip is continuously changing.
The term hip is recorded in African American Vernacular English (AAVE) in the early 1900s. In the 1930s and 1940s, it had become a common slang term, particularly in the African-American dominated jazz scene.
Research and speculation by both amateur and professional etymologists suggest that "hip" is derived from an earlier form hep but that is disputed. Many etymologists believe that the terms hip, hep and hepcat derive from the west African Wolof language word hepicat, which means "one who has his eyes open". Some etymologists reject this, however, tracing the origin of this putative etymology to David Dalby, a scholar of African languages who tentatively suggested the idea in the 1960s, and some have even adopted the denigration "to cry Wolof" as a general dismissal or belittlement of etymologies they believe to be based on "superficial similarities" rather than documented attribution.

The Circle Series, formerly known as the Circle Trilogy until the novel Green was released in September 2009, is a set of spiritually inspired novels by Ted Dekker, written mostly in 2004, about a man named Thomas Hunter who, after a head injury, wakes up in an alternate reality every time he goes to sleep. The stakes are raised when he realizes that a deadly virus is about to be unleashed on our world, and that the other earth is also being threatened with catastrophe. The pace quickens as links and parallels between the two worlds are revealed, and the clock begins to run down for both worlds.
The Circle Series takes place in the same universe as several other Dekker novels, and makes several references to them. These other novels include the Paradise Novels, the Lost Books, Skin, House, and Immanuel's Veins.
Originally, Green was called "The Beginning and the End," and was meant to be both the first and the last book of the series, causing an infinite loop in the timeline. Many fans were confused and spoke out about this, so Dekker wrote a new ending to Green called "The Last Stand" which brought a level of closure to the series. It can be found in the 4-in-1 collector's edition, The Circle.

This geometry video tutorial explains how to calculate the surface area of a hexagonal prism. It also explains how to calculate the lateral area of a hexagonal prism as well as the volume of a hexagonal prism. It discusses how to calculate the length of the apothem and the angle in order to calculate the area of the hexagon. This geometry video tutorial contains plenty of examples and practice problems. In this video you will learn how to work out the number of faces, edges and vertices of a hexagonal prism. There will be 8 faces (do this by counting the surfaces that make the shape), 18 edges (do this by counting the sides where two faces meet), and there are 12 vertices (corners).
This is a step by step tutorial of how to create a 3D Hexagonal Prism using cardboard. (DIY Hexagonal Prism)

Hip hop, a way of life
Chosen by the ghetto youth out of necessity
It involves graffiti, deejaying, breakdancing and emceeing
Which all rely on raw, artistic skill
You know, they used to tell me that this music would never last
Now look at it now, it influences all music here today
So either you respect it we gon' take it back
Hip hop, the voice of the street, the voice of the youth
The voice that you hear, the voice that only we produce
The way that we salute that makes the wildest niggas start to shoot
The voice that recoupes only 12% of the loot
The voice of the groups, like OutKast, LOX and The Roots
The voice of the truth, that no society can ever mute
The voice of the men and women who gave their lives defendin
The God-given rights, they had no choice but to fight
The voice of the black, latino and the white
The voice of the club that makes the freaks come out at night
The voice of the thugs who pop champagne and rock ice
The voice of the shorties who wear tight shirts and talk sheist
The voice of the shook who look one time but not twice
The voice of the crooks at gambling spot with hot dice
The voice of the church, mosque, synagogue and temple
The voice of your soul, your body and your mental
The voice that says "rap!" when I hear a instrumental
The voice that don't stop and it's just that simple
The voice that don't stop and it's just that simple
The voice that don't, d-d-don't, d-don't...
Yo, we live that life that you call hip hop

So if you with the LC, nigga, lick shot
If you live that life they call hip hop
Worldwide everyday tic-toc
This life is like nothin to play with, ock

[ Double Trouble ]
Cause here's a little story that must be told
About two cool brothers that were put on hold
Tried to hold us back from fortune and fame
They destroyed the crew and they killed our name
They tried to step on the ego and walk on the pride
But true blue brothers stand side by side
Through thick and thin, from beginning to end
