    Date

Saints win by 32. This has been a big response from the Saints to a couple of pathetic performances interstate and a thudding back to earth for the Blues.

    • Congratulations Alan Richardson! That has been the best coaching performance of your career! What St Kilda achieved today without key position players such as Riewoldt, Fisher, Dempster, McCartin and Goddard is a credit to Richo, the players and the Assistant Coaches. You have silenced the doubters and may you coach St Kilda to their second flag by 2020! Carn The Mighty Saints! Richardson is the equal of Beveridge and Boltin. You are doing a terrific job Richo and keep the good work up.

      • St Kilda are now 5 wins and 7 losses, the same as 2008, when they made the top 4. I shall settle for one final this year. If not, it will be top 4 by 2018 and a flag by 2020! Riewoldt could definitely play on a wing in 2020. He is a freak! Montagna is a Brent Harvey equivalent and will still pay in 2020 and have his pace then. Alan Richardson is a good coach as St Kilda as St Kilda has only lost to 6 of the top 8 teams plus Port Adelaide and should have
beaten North Melbourne and Hawthorn. A good scalp like Geelong is required next round.

                • Now i know why i don't go to watch afl. I left during the 3rd quarter and demand a refund. The modern game is nothing more than a replica of the old little league. Everyone chasing the ball. I angry with myself that i didn't listen to my daughter and go to the netball instead.

                  • Completely disagree Chris. Absolutely love the modern possession game. The skills are outstanding compared to the seventies and eighties. I thought the third quarter was absolutely superb. St Kilda played champagne football and instead of demanding a refund, I demand to see St Kilda play more like that!

Very proud of the modern game!

                • Not surprised by the Saints today. Always felt it was a danger game. Saints are a young team that's best can be very good and worst very bad. They have a bright future. Come on Blues step up, fight back.
