The United States Army (USA) is the largest branch of the United States Armed Forces and performs land-based military operations. It is one of the seven uniformed services of the United States, and is designated as the Army of the United States in the United States Constitution, Article 2, Section 2, Clause 1 and United States Code, Title 10, Subtitle B, Chapter 301, Section 3001. As the largest and senior branch of the U.S. military, the modern U.S. Army has its roots in the Continental Army, which was formed (14 June 1775) to fight the American Revolutionary War (1775–83)—before the U.S. was established as a country. After the Revolutionary War, the Congress of the Confederation created the United States Army on 3 June 1784, to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The United States Army considers itself descended from the Continental Army, and dates its institutional inception from the origin of that armed force in 1775.

The United States Army Air Corps sent Clark Gable to England to live with and film a group of pilots and their crews as they prepare and eventually fly bombing runs over Belgium, France and finally Germany. Captain Gable interviews the men, films them as they train and begin bombing. Vivid handheld action footage from inside the cockpit of a bomber documents the pilots first raid in Germany. Footage shows the planes being attacked by the enemy fighters on route to the target, dropping their bombs on the target and encountering the enemy fighters again on the trip home. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩ENGLISH۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● "The U.S. Air Force" is the official song of the United States Air Force. Originally, the song was titled as "Army Air Corps". Robert MacArthur Crawford wrote the lyrics and music during 1938.[1] During World War II, the service was renamed "Army Air Force", and the song title changed to agree. In 1947, when the Air Force became a separate service, the song became the "Air Force Song".
Original lyrics written in 1917. Some people know this as the "Wild Blue Yonder" song. This was also a popular song during World War II. Life expectancy of a World War I fighter pilot was about 3 weeks.

The Curtiss-Wright XP-55 Ascender (company designation CW-24) was a 1940s United States prototype fighter aircraft built by Curtiss-Wright. Along with the Vultee XP-54 and Northrop XP-56, it resulted from United States Army Air Corps proposal R-40C issued on 27 November 1939 for aircraft with improved performance, armament and pilot visibility over existing fighters; it specifically allowed for unconventional aircraft designs. A highly unusual design for its time, it had a canard configuration, a rear mounted engine, swept wings and two vertical tails. Because of its pusher design, it was sarcastically referred to as the "Ass-ender".[1] Like the XP-54, the Ascender was initially designed for the Pratt & Whitney X-1800 engine and had to be redesigned when that engine project was cancelled. ...

The final tribute and send off for my Dad who went to rest on June 3, 2016. The military funeral took place on June 25, 2016 with the final resting place at a cemetery near his hometown of Waukegan, IL. What better way to send off my hero and one of the “Greatest Generation”, my Dad, with full military funeral honors. He defended this nation during World War II, a war that preserved the freedoms we have in America. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and loved to fly. His final flight was at age 93 in an open cockpit bi-plane. My Dad was a great father, and a few days after Dad passed away, I realized one important thing about him. He was put on this earth to make people laugh and smile. Mission accomplished, Dad! -Tim Crabb

The Army Air Corps produced this film to link navigational training with Air Corps effectiveness in the Coast Defense role. The film was likely shot in the summer of 1935 and features the Advanced Air Navigation Unit at Rockwell Field, California that supported the work of the Frontier Defense Research Unit. This school was the first military program in the United States dedicated to teaching advanced air navigation. Harold Gatty, the Air Corps' Senior Navigational Engineer, provided advanced tutorials and appears in the film giving classroom instruction. Other instructors included Norris Harbold and Thomas Thurlow who were responsible for creating the massive wartime navigation program that ultimately trained over 50,000 dedicated navigators for the Army Air Forces in World War II and whi...

"Flying Cadets of the United States Army Air Corps" is a 30 minute short that was directed and written by Captain John H Fite, A.S.C. who was known to develop, direct, and write various propaganda films for various different branches of the American Armed forces between the late 1930's, to early 1950's, mostly for the Air Force during the years that America was engaged in World War II. The film features great footage of pre-WWII airplanes including biplanes used for training purposes, including PT-22s. Tired eyes
Closed for days
There's no regret
'Cause there's no place
I don't know
What I believe
But if I feel safe
What do I need
A home
A home
A home
Revolution
Revolution
Revolution blues
What will they do
Revolution
Revolution
Revolution blues
What will they do to me
What will they do to me
What will they do to me
What will they do to me
Dulcet tongues
Whisper fast
The future yearns
Right now's the past
Rouse me soon
The end draws nigh
Who's side are you on
Your blood you cannot buy
Revolution
Revolution
Revolution blues
What will they do
Revolution
Revolution
Revolution blues
What will they do to you
Well I
I feel alright
So tonight
I got to ask you why
Why deny it
It's no surprise
I've got to survive
Freedom shines the light ahead
I'll lead the last charge to bed
I said my last rights
I don't have to run scared no more
Fight
I wanna fight
I wanna fight a revolution
Tonight
I wanna fight
I wanna fight a revolution
Tonight
At the light
At the light
Do you wanna watch me die
Let me be something good
Let me prove something real like I should
Let me embrace every single living thing
