Humber RNLI Lifeboat Station Is the UK's only full time coastal station. We follow the RNLI crew for a day to see what the job involves and to find out about life at Spurn point. We speak to all members of the five man crew and find out what their job entails, both on the lifeboat and back on shore. There are checks to be made and equipment to maintain. The RNLI station and boat are being replaced very soon (2016?). This video has been made as a memento for the crew and for posterity. It includes the stations operations including launch and recovery, a boat (AWB/ILB) tour, some sea footage and crew photographs. Donations to help can be made at any RNLI station.
After having an evening walk along the sea front in Scarborough, we came across the Scarborough Rowing Club in the water, and watched the RNLI Life Boat crew doing some work on the beach. We soon saw that they were preparing to bring the Lifeboat back into the station, after a days exercise in the North Sea around Scarborough. Having never observed how the boat is brought out of the sea and back into the lifeboat station, we decided to hang around and watch them winch the boat out of the water. Imperfection, new temptation
Innocence will breed new life
Disillusion, desperation
Free my mind and let it rise
Mass enslavement, brutal torment
Tomorrow will they see it clear
Resurrection, disconnection
Substance that can make us fly without fear
Without fear!
Never to be seen again
Ever to release the pain
Renewal of your mind
Female's poison, male aggression
Distance to reality
Foreign places, fallen kingdoms
Always keep secrets from me
Subliminal, disciplinal
The art of lying lives on and on
As we struggle, as we suffer
Inferior to life renewal has begun
Never to be seen again
Ever to release the pain
Renewal of our minds
Renewal of my mind
Renewal of my mind!
Isolation, illumination
Modern men embrace the light
War believers, peace deceivers
Remaining in eternal night
Politicians, fake musicians
Create no relationships
Hate frustrators, penetrators
Resistance from a path that should not exist
Never to be seen again
Ever to release the pain
Renewal of my mind...
