Greenpower is the trading name of a British Charitable organization: The Greenpower Education Trust whose legal objective is to inspire more young people to become engineers by presenting the engineering industry as an interesting and relevant career choice which could help to solve problems relating to the personal, social and emotional development (known in Britain as PSED) of individuals and societies.

The trust originated from a study by Sussex Chamber of Commerce in 1998 which considered the needs of engineering companies in that region. The investigation revealed low levels of interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (The so called STEM school subjects).

The Greenpower project started in 1999 to encourage students to construct and race an electric car within professionally drafted specifications. Events were organized for weekends at major motor circuits around the UK to facilitate attendance from the general public

Greenpower claims that it now works with 500 schools providing events around the UK. Its Headquarters are at Fontwell in Southern England and Greenpower national events are run at the nearby Goodwood Motor Circuit whose owner is a Patron of Greenpower. The national final is normally held at Goodwood in the middle of October on a Sunday and attracts some 70 cars from all over Britain. The Corprate Challenge is held at Silverstone which attracts entries from large companies and universities as far away as Poland who compete against the top 15 cars from the F24 class from the previous year's national final.

The Grid are an English electronic dance group, consisting of Richard Norris and David Ball (formerly of Soft Cell), with guest contributions from other musicians. They are best known for the hits "Swamp Thing", "Crystal Clear", "Rollercoaster", "Floatation", and "Cybernetic" (with Robert Fripp and Phil Manzanera).

The Grid formed in 1988 and had their first success with debut single, "Floatation", released on East West Records in 1990. They went on to release a string of ten UK hit singles and four albums, and toured the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. The group's 1994 album Evolver reached #14 in the UK Albums Chart. The lead single from this album, "Swamp Thing", featuring elaborate banjo lines played by Roger Dinsdale. "Swamp Thing" proved to be a commercial success in the UK, Europe and Australia, reaching #3 in the UK and Australia and selling a total of one million copies.^{[citation needed]}

In 1996, Norris and Ball agreed to a hiatus period in order pursue individual music interests. Norris formed the Droyds, which went on to remix tracks by musicians including Armand Van Helden and Siobhan Fahey, and wrote the official biography of Paul Oakenfold (published in 2007): Ball reformed Soft Cell with Marc Almond, and also wrote music scores for films.^{[citation needed]} Norris has since formed the psychedelic duo, Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve, with DJ Erol Alkan, and has released a number of solo records and remixes under the name The Time and Space Machine.

Silvio Berlusconi (Italian pronunciation: [ˈsilvjo berluˈskoːni] ( listen); born 29 September 1936) is an Italian politician and media tycoon who served three times as Prime Minister of Italy from 1994 to 1995, 2001 to 2006 and 2008 to 2011. Berlusconi is also the controlling shareholder of Mediaset and owner of A.C. Milan. Jason David Frank (born September 4, 1973) is an American actor, martial artist and professional mixed martial arts fighter, best known for playing Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers.

Jason David Frank was born in Covina, California, a city in the county of Los Angeles. He attended Bonita High School. Frank first became interested in Martial Arts when he was young, and at the age of 4 he trained at The Red Dragon Karate School. When he was 12 he started teaching other children, and when he turned 18, he and a friend decided to buy the school. He then wanted to do martial arts in film so he pursued acting.

Frank auditioned for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993 when he was 19. He was cast in the role of Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger. He later became the White Ranger.

Frank was supposed to be the lead character Adam Steele in VR Troopers (originally called "Cybertron") and shot a pilot episode before being called back to Power Rangers. According to both Frank and Brad Hawkins, Hawkins was to replace Frank originally as the White Ranger on Power Rangers. However, due to Frank's popularity with Ranger fans, he was brought back as the White Ranger again. Hawkins would take over on VR Troopers.

Jason Aeron Walter David (born June 12, 1982) is an American football cornerback and is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington State.

David has also played for the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions.

David grew up in Covina, California and attended Charter Oak High School before attending Washington State University on a football scholarship and majoring in communications. Jason went on to be a three-year letterman at Washington State. He was teammates with fellow cornerback Marcus Trufant and wide receiver Devard Darling.^{[citation needed]}

David was a fourth round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2004. In 2004, he had 52 total tackles, 4 interceptions, and one forced fumble. He also won a Super Bowl with the Colts in 2006 as a starter.

On April 18, 2007, David signed a 4-year offer sheet with the New Orleans Saints that the Colts had 7 days to match. Indianapolis declined to match New Orleans' offer, and was awarded the Saints' 4th round draft pick as compensation. His lowlight of his tenure with the Saints was giving up a touchdown to Peyton Manning on the Opening Day game when the Saints played David's former team, the defending champion Indianapolis Colts in 2007.
