Plot: Twenty-something outsider John Scott awakes in a haze tied to a chair with blood dropping from his head. He looks around his dimly lit surroundings to try and determine his location. A flashback. T.E.S.S. [Therapy Engineered Support Service] is questioning John on the nightmares he has been receiving of late. John is growing increasingly concerned over the reality of his dreams so has come to T.E.S.S. to seek help. T.E.S.S. questions John on his family relationship including the details of his estranged father Hugh Jamieson-Turner. John tells T.E.S.S. about his positive relationship with his mother Angela Scott but how he never really cared about his father. T.E.S.S. questions John about his dreams further. In his dream, John murders a young child but escapes conviction down to the help of an unknown aid. Distressed from reliving his dream John asks for memory dream virtual reality treatment as an aid to stop the nightmares. T.E.S.S. denies his request stating that she would not want him to "live through that again". This triggers something in John's head. His mind becomes clear as he realises that his dreams actually happened and that he was the one who shamefully murdered a young girl. Angela had intervened with the help of T.E.S.S. to frame Hugh for John's crime and erase his mind so that he could live out a normal life. John bursts to his feet on his revelation to object to any more mind erasing but he falls back down to his chair again helpless. T.E.S.S. is controlling him with a previous mind implant. John blacks out to wake up where we last saw him in the dimly lit room. A surgeon appears. He makes his way a table with surgical equipment lying on it and picks up a scalpel and begins to operate. As the surgery is going on we hear T.E.S.S. telephone Angela to inform her that her son has remember his past yet again and that they are trying a new method to make him forget it. The surgeon inserts a memory chip into John's head and we see John blink one final time to reveal that he has been taken over by the robotic side of the chip.

Plot: A cry in the dark explores universal themes of love, loss, grief, healing and redemption through a unique lens. This story takes you on the journey of a young girls inability to cope with a tragic event which leaves her delusional and dangerous. The concept behind this film explores our social construction of the spiritual versus psychological debate. Are some people's convictions that they can see spirits true, or are their visions products of a psychologically fragmented, delusional mind, damaged in some way as others may counter. The director explores this debate and leaves that answer up to the audience to decide for themselves.

Plot: Box elder bugs are loud, scary looking, and dependent on group swarming. Yet, they're also completely harmless and extremely passive aggressive. Using this metaphor to address a generation that thinks big, talks fast, and threatens to change the world, Box Elder is an unapologetic portrait of a youth movement at odds with its own ambivalence, exposing a generation defined by privilege, potential, and self-induced paralysis. The film follows four best friends through their last years of college. Dependant on their parents financially, and on each other emotionally, they spend their time sleeping in, hanging out, and eating lots of sandwiches. Using break-ups and re-occurring scholastic failures to impose a quarter-life crisis, they take turns postponing responsibility, avoiding accountability, and looking for someone or something to substantiate their lives, all the while hedging their bets and mastering the art of treading water and getting away with it. It's a collegiate love letter.

seeing as it's 12/12/12 thought I'd upload an interview with
Lisa Harrison.
I had a strange extra terrestrial encounter recently and thought it might be the right time to head down the yellow brick road.
I had recently driven to
Melbourne, on return I was informed a crop circle appeared right near where I had driven on route to Melbourne.
Oddly enough it may have appeared on the same day or night of my opening solo show.
My show opened on
November 13th solar eclipse day for
Australia.
The crop circle may have appeared at the same time. I'm sure it's just coincidence that the crop circle was depicting a solar eclipse.
