A bay is a body of water connected to an ocean or lake, formed by an indentation of the shoreline. A large bay may be called a gulf, a sea, a sound, or a bight. A cove is a smaller circular or oval coastal inlet with a narrow entrance; some coves may be referred to as bays. A fjord is a particularly steep bay shaped by glacial activity.
Bays can exist as the estuary of a river, as the estuary of the Parramatta River in Australia. Bays may be nested in each other; for example, James Bay is an arm of Hudson Bay. Some large bays, such as the Bay of Bengal and the Hudson Bay, have varied marine geology.
The land surrounding a bay can often block waves and reduce the strength of winds. Thus bays were significant in the history of human settlement because they could provide a safe place for fishing. Later they were important in the development of sea trade as the safe anchorage they provide encouraged their selection as ports.
There are various ways from which bays can be created. The largest bays have developed as a result of continental drift. As the super-continent Gondwana broke up along curved and indented fault lines, the continents moved apart and the world's largest bays formed. These include the Gulf of Guinea, Persian Gulf, Gulf of Alaska, Gulf of Mexico and the Bay of Bengal, which is the largest bay in the world.
Secondhand Lions, a 2003 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Tim McCanlies, tells the story of an introverted young boy (Haley Joel Osment) who is sent to live with his eccentric great-uncles (Robert Duvall and Michael Caine) on a farm in Texas.
The film received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics and the general public, and grossed $74 million on a $30 million budget.
The film has now generated a cult following.
In 1962 in the Texas countryside, 14-year-old Walter Caldwell (Haley Joel Osment) is left by his irresponsible, dishonest mother, Mae (Kyra Sedgwick), to live for the summer with his reclusive, bachelor great-uncles, Hub (Robert Duvall) and Garth (Michael Caine) McCann, brothers said to have a secret fortune. Walter is given a room in the attic where he finds a photograph of a beautiful woman, who he later learns is Jasmine (Emmanuelle Vaugier), Hub's one true love. Soon after, relatives Ralph and Helen arrive with their children, hoping for a chance at the fortune. Thinking Walter is also after it, they threaten to take him to the Orphanage, making him run away. Walter makes his way to a gas station, and uses a phone booth to call the court reporting school which his mother told him she was attending only to learn she isn't there. The two uncles find him; Hub is glad to see him on his way, but Garth convinces Hub to bring him back home.

They must triumph over gang fights, the mystery surrounding the Fuentes' murder of their father and the world's outlook on their relationship.
Los Angeles (i/lɒs ˈændʒəlᵻs/ loss AN-jə-ləs or loss AN-jə-liss) (Spanish for "The Angels"), officially the City of Los Angeles and often known by its initials L.A., is the second-largest city in the United States after New York City, the most populous city in the state of California, and the county seat of Los Angeles County.
Situated in Southern California, Los Angeles is known for its mediterranean climate, ethnic diversity, sprawling metropolis, and as a major center of the American entertainment industry. Los Angeles lies in a large coastal basin surrounded on three sides by mountains reaching up to and over 10,000 feet (3,000 m).
Historically home to the Chumash and Tongva, Los Angeles was claimed by Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo for Spain in 1542 along with the rest of what would become Alta California. The city was officially founded on September 4, 1781, by Spanish governor Felipe de Neve. It became a part of Mexico in 1821 following the Mexican War of Independence. In 1848, at the end of the Mexican–American War, Los Angeles and the rest of California were purchased as part of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, thereby becoming part of the United States. Los Angeles was incorporated as a municipality on April 4, 1850, five months before California achieved statehood. The city experienced rapid growth with the discovery of oil.

This project was originally made for the Los Angeles Film collective. Which was a project that I made with a few filmmaking friends. We pretty much made a bunch of short films about Los Angeles. We were kind of... sort of... inspired by the feature film Paris Je T'aime. Okay, we were flat out inspired. This is my contribution. It's my love letter to Los Angeles. And also my way of bitching and moaning about the loneliness of the LA bar scene. It's the story of a geeky guy who likes to dance the robot, a girl, and a magical red rose. Wait... that should have been the title. Enjoy. This was shot around 2008 and finished roughly around 09'. Also, I was very pleased that it starred Michael Beardsley who played Humphries on Freaks and Geeks. It also featured Aryiel Hartman, Bay Dar...

[Chorus:]
This Here One Is For The Queens
'cause It's You That Make Me Deh
I Say It's You That Make Me Be
This Is For All The Sweet Dreams
How Much Injustice You Have To Face
Before You I Bow My Knees
[Verse 1:]
How Many Times Your Man Gone
While You Stay Alone With Your Daughters And Sons
How Many Times The Man Hit' And Run'
'cause Responsibility Ha Can't Stand
How Many Times Tell Me How Many Times
You Have To Face Discrimination
How Many Times Tell Me How Many Times
You Get Lick By Your Man
But It Is You That Makes The World Go 'round
Let Nobody Put You Down You Have To Wear The Crown
It Is You That Make The World Go 'round
Know The Value Of Yourself And Let Nobody Put You Down
[Bridge:]
Don't Let Them Tell You Who You Are
Never Ever Bow No No No No
Rise And Take Your Stand
Queens Of This World To You I Dedicate My Song
[Chorus]
[Verse 2:]
Upon Your Shoulders You Carry
So Much Responsibility For This Strayed Humanity
It Is You That Rule Our Destiny
In Your Heart You Bear
All The Future Of This Earth
I Tell You If You Wasn't Here
The End Would Be Near. No Title Of This World Can Give You
Royality Of Birth
You Could Wear Diamonds And Pearls
Into A Queen You Still Can't Be Turned
It's A Profession You Can't Learn
And It's A Title You Can't Earn
All True Born Queens Hold Firm
'cause It's You That Makes The World Go 'round
Make Nobody Put You Down You Have To Wear The Crown
It's You That Makes The World Go 'round
Know The Value Of Yourself And Make Nobody Put You Down
[Bridge:]
Don't Let Them Tell You Who You Are
Never Ever Bow No No No No
Keep You Temple Clean
Queens, Queens, Queens, Queens, Queens
