media to Toronto and for this years festival (Sept. 10-19), The Wine Ladies are entering the exciting world of web TV.
Georgia and Susanne (The Wine Ladies) set up their temporary TV studio at The Windsor Arms, 18 St. Thomas
Street in Yorkville - ground zero for the film festival - and have conducted brief interviews with the stars, filmmakers, writers, international VIPs and media representatives discussing favourite wines, what wines go with which movies at this years festival, favourite movies about wine (e.g.: Bottle Shock, Sideways, A Walk in the Clouds, Under the Tuscan Sun) - the ultimate in wine TV! Positive energy radiated the room as the stunning award winning actress Raven Dauda entered the set of The Wine Ladies Talking With The Stars. This multi-talented , artistic lady is a talented stage actress having won the prestigious Dora Mayer Moore award winner ( 2009) for her portrayal in Miss Julie: Freedom summer(Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Featured Role in a Play or Musical ).
In 2009 Raven starred in Intimate Apparel a love story set in New York in 1905, amid the ragtime. Last year she played the lead role of Esther, an ambitious and independent African-American woman has aspirations in conflict with turn of the century society. A gifted seamstress who has gained financial independence by sewing elegant undergarments for socialites and prostitutes, she dreams of opening her own boutique. When George, a charming Caribbean islander employed in the construction of the Panama Canal, writes to her, a romance begins that promises to help her realize her dreams.

The Adedo Collective with contributions by The Watah Theatre is thrilled to announce the World Premiere of Dora Award winning performer Raven Dauda’s power play Addicted. Following rave reviews from a workshop presentation at The Grand Theatre in February 2018, Dauda takes the stage at the Aki Studio with an exclusive run from April 12 to 21, 2018 with a preview performance on April 11, 2018 at 8pm.
Addicted follows Penelope Day, an alcoholic at the end of her rope who finds herself at the mercy of Saving Grace, an unconventional rehab facility and its motley crew of residents. While in treatment, Penelope comes face to face with her inner demons, revealing the ugly truth about her family's destructive past. Leaving Penelope to question what is real, what is not, and if in fact she will survive. Written, performed and created by Dora Award winning actor Raven Dauda, Addicted is a tour-de-force multidisciplinary monodrama that will unapologetically get you hooked.

The Adedo Collective with contributions by The Watah Theatre is thrilled to announce the World Premiere of Dora Award winning performer Raven Dauda’s power play Addicted. Following rave reviews from a workshop presentation at The Grand Theatre in February 2018, Dauda takes the stage at the Aki Studio with an exclusive run from April 12 to 21, 2018 with a preview performance on April 11, 2018 at 8pm.
Addicted follows Penelope Day, an alcoholic at the end of her rope who finds herself at the mercy of Saving Grace, an unconventional rehab facility and its motley crew of residents. While in treatment, Penelope comes face to face with her inner demons, revealing the ugly truth about her family's destructive past. Leaving Penelope to question what is real, what is not, and if in fact she will survive. Written, performed and created by Dora Award winning actor Raven Dauda, Addicted is a tour-de-force multidisciplinary monodrama that will unapologetically get you hooked.
