Port Phillip

Port Phillip is located in southern Victoria, Australia. It has 3.2 million people living around its coastline which covers 1950 square kilometers and is made up of 7 neighbourhoods such as, St Kilda, Albert Park, South Melbourne, Elwood, Port Melbourne, Middle Park, and Ripponlea.

Port Phillip is also known as Port Phillip Bay as it is a large bay in Victoria that is shallow and its deepest portion is only 24 metres.

It has a rich heritage and its waters are cleaner than any other bay that is close to a city and is home to wonderful creatures such as whales, seals and dolphins. There are still piles of semi-fossilised sea shells laying around the shoreline areas today which was where the Aboriginals used to eat their meals at least 20,000 years ago.

Port Phillip has some of Victoria's best beaches, lavish parks and gardens. Its main attractions are the Melbourne sports aquatic centre, Luna park and St Kilda sea baths.
