Drugstore are a London-based alternative and dream pop band, led by Brazilian singer-songwriter and bassist Isabel Monteiro (born September 9, 1965, São Paulo, Brazil), formed with Dave Hunter (later replaced by Daron Robinson) on guitar and Mike Chylinski on drums.
The band's name is taken from the 1989 Gus Van Sant film Drugstore Cowboy.
The band was formed via a flat-share in East London, when Monteiro and American drummer Mike Chylinsky met. They were joined by guitarist Dave Hunter and soon released their debut single, "Alive", on their own label Honey Records in 1993. The following year Hunter was replaced by Daron Robinson, and after only a handful of gigs, the band signed a major record deal with Go! Discs. Their debut album Drugstore was released on 1 January 1995 and it reached number 31 in the UK Albums Chart. The following three years were spent touring with Radiohead, Tindersticks, Jeff Buckley and The Jesus and Mary Chain, and playing at festivals such as Reading and Glastonbury
Slaves on Dope is a Canadian metal band based in Montreal, Canada.
The band was formed in 1993 by Jason Rockman, Kevin Jardine and Avrum Nadigel, in the midst of the "grunge" explosion. They were highly influenced by this particular sound early on. The original line-up also included Patrick Francis, and Lenny Vartanian. In 1995, the bass guitarist Francis and the drummer Vartanian were replaced by Frank Salvaggio and Robert Urbani respectively, beginning a new, heavier metal direction for the band.
At that time, the Canadian music scene had yet to embrace nu/alternative metal music, so Salvaggio and Urbani decided to make a six-day trip by Greyhound bus from Montreal to Los Angeles, the center of alternative metal, to begin the process of making in-roads, contacts and securing showcases for the band. After a year filled with showcases the band secured a record deal through Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's Divine Recordings which released their full length album, Inches from the Mainline, in 2000.

Showbiz was a moderate commercial success, reaching number 29 on the UK Albums Chart.
Showbiz was released in various regions around the world through the band's different regional labels: Naïve in France; Motor in Germany, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine; Maverick in the United States; Play It Again Sam (PIAS) in Benelux; and Avex Trax in Japan. The album was also released earlier by some labels; in France it was released on 7 September, the Motor edition was sold from 20 September and the album entered American stores on 28 September. A bonus CD was released in Benelux, which contained the same content as the Random 1-8 extended play, without the hidden remixes of "Sunburn".
"Hate (I Really Don't Like You)" is a single by the Plain White T's. It is the first single from their fourth studio album Every Second Counts, released in 2006. This song has an acoustic version available on the Best Buy version of Every Second Counts. The song had become one of the band's highest charting singles.
The video has been seen on MTV, Kerrang!, MTV2 and Fuse TV. The music video shows lead singer Tom Higgenson taking a stroll in the city while many scenes of chaos are happening. It also has shots of the band performing in what seems to be a warehouse. His ex-girlfriend, played by Italia Ricci, comes along, and in surprise continues to watch him perform. It was filmed in Toronto, Canada.
Hate is the second studio album by Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder. The album was released on October 19, 2012 through Halfcut Records, but was reissued on April 5, 2013 through Nuclear Blast after the band signed to the label. The album debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making Thy Art Is a Murder the first extreme metal band ever to break the top 40. The album also reached no. 1 on AIR and peaked at 31 on the Top Heatseekers chart.
On March 31, 2013 Metal Hammer began streaming the album in full, in anticipation of the Nuclear Blast re-release.
AllMusic described the sound of the album as deathcore, as well as stating that the album is free of the cliches of the genre by noting that the group's focus is on "pushing the limits of intensity rather than just seeing how many breakdowns they can fit into a song"Exclaim! also noted the complexitiy of the music in comparison to other deathcore groups, describing the album's sound as a "harsh change from the simplistic sound popularized by Suicide Silence and their peers."
Sinister is a death metal band from Schiedam, the Netherlands, assembled in 1988, disassembled in 2003, and reassembled in 2005. They have released twelve albums, most recently Dark Memorials in 2015.
