Unifying the classic, time-tested action iconic to the Warriors series with a variety of new features, characters, and content in an expansive open world environment, DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 aims to deliver the most immersive and ambitious DYNASTY WARRIORS experience to date!
Augmenting the series’ first true open world is another immersive innovation introduced in DYNASTY WARRIORS 9: the Interactive Action system. Players will be able to fully utilise their surroundings for the first time in the Warriors franchise with the ability to climb buildings and mountains, wield grappling hooks to traverse walls, and make use of objects like oil barrels in battle. These new actions offer a breadth of new possibilities for players to take advantage of while travelling around third-century China, or when caught in the heat of battle!
DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 introduces exhilarating new combat mechanics to the series’ signature “one versus thousands” style gameplay with the State Combo System. This new system allows players to perform 3 different attack styles – Trigger Attacks, Flow Attacks and Finish Attacks – each dealing progressively more damage. Trigger Attacks allow players to create the start of an explosive combo, leading to Flow Attacks, which adapt to the enemy’s current state. Successful combos allow for a Finish Attack to be performed, delivering a final blow that eradicates any foes caught in its path. These new enhancements aim to create a thrilling and fluid experience unlike any previous entry in the franchise.

We are proud to reveal today that a sequel to 2016’s titanic action game, Attack on Titan, is currently in development by Omega Force. To celebrate the announcement, We released a teaser site which reveals the title and stunning key art for the latest game based on the worldwide anime series phenomenon.
Building on the fast-paced action the series is famous for, and featuring an abundance of new gameplay mechanics, the gripping sequel will be released across America as ATTACK ON TITAN 2 in Early 2018. Players will once again don the renowned Omni-Directional Maneuver Gear as they fight and repel the fearsome Titans that threaten humanity, to restore peace within the walls.
While more information about the game’s release, platforms, and narrative will be unveiled in the coming weeks, We released an immersive teaser trailer featuring famous scenes from the comics and anime, fully rendered with in-game graphics.

No shit....Capcom literally claims that anything in gaming that allows you to acquire new content by combining an existing game with another piece of software is theirs....Ya know Expansion packs, DLC, Add-ons etc Apparently they own all that shit....

Today we're taking a look at the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Switch crossover title, Fire Emblem Warriors. Fire Emblem Warriors combines aspects of the Fire Emblem series and its characters with the Dynasty Warriors games, allowing for fast paced hack and slash combat including features like the weapon triangle, pair up, bond conversations, and more! There has however been some controversy surrounding the game in which the developers focused the game cast around Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Fire Emblem Fates, citing that they didn't want to include all the lords and protagonists throughout the series since then everyone in the game would be wielding a sword; but then they proceeded to turn around and develop several brand new characters....that use swords. Regardless, the game is definitely looking very beautiful and from my past experiences playing the Dynasty Warriors games, I'm sure it will be a great experience.

Koei
Koei Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game publisher, developer, and distributor founded in 1978. The company is known for its historical simulation games based on the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, as well as simulation games based on pseudo-historical events.
The company has also found mainstream success in a series of loosely historical action games, the flagship titles of which are Dynasty Warriors (真・三國無双, Shin Sangokumusō) and Samurai Warriors (戦国無双, Sengoku Musō), the Musō (無双) series. Koei also owned a division known as Ruby Party, which focuses in dating sim games.
On April 1, 2009, Koei merged with Tecmo to form the Tecmo Koei Holdings holding company. Koei changed its name to Tecmo Koei Games on April 1, 2010 by absorbing Tecmo, and again on July 1, 2014 to Koei Tecmo Games.As of 2015, Koei Tecmo Games continues to use the Koei brand.
History
Koei was established in July 1978 by Yōichi Erikawa (also known as Kou Shibusawa) and Keiko Erikawa. Yoichi was a student at Keio University, and when his family's rural dyestuffs business failed he decided to pursue his interest in programming. The company to this day is located in the Hiyoshi area of Yokohama along with Erikawa's alma mater.

Dynasty Warriors
Dynasty Warriors (真・三國無双, Shin Sangokumusō, literally translated as "True ・ Three Kingdoms Unrivalled") is a series of tactical action games created by Omega Force and Koei. The award-winning series is a spin-off of Koei's turn-based strategy Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, based loosely around the Chinese historical text Records of the Three Kingdoms, from which it derives its name in Japanese.
The first game titled Dynasty Warriors, Sangokumusō in Japan, is a fighting game and different from the rest of the series. All English titles are a number ahead of their Japanese counterparts due to the English localization of naming Shin Sangokumusō, a spin-off of the previously mentioned Sangokumusō game, as Dynasty Warriors 2.
It is Koei's most successful franchise. Including its many spin-offs, 18 million copies of the Dynasty Warriors series have sold worldwide by 2011.
Main series
The first Dynasty Warriors (Sangokumusō) is a traditional one-on-one fighting game, released in 1997 for the PlayStation. Its gameplay style is reminiscent of Virtua Fighter and Tekken with the addition of weapons and some exotic moves.

Koei Tecmo
Koei Tecmo Holdings Co., Ltd. (コーエーテクモホールディングス株式会社, Kōē Tekumo Hōrudingusu Kabushiki-gaisha), is a holding company created in 2009 by the merger of Japanese video game companies Koei and Tecmo. It was founded as Tecmo Koei Holdings.
Koei Europe was the first subsidiary to change its name (to Tecmo Koei Europe, Ltd) and to release video games under the new moniker. In January 2010, Tecmo, Inc. and Koei Corporation followed suit by merging to form Tecmo Koei America Corporation.
In April 1, 2010, Tecmo was declared disbanded in Japan. Its sister company Koei survived but was renamed Tecmo Koei Games and is now the sole publishing arm of the group. Koei Tecmo Games continues to strategically use the "Tecmo" and "Koei" brand names on new video games for marketing purposes. In addition, the former development divisions of Tecmo and Koei were briefly spun-off as separate companies in March 2010, but folded into Tecmo Koei Games in April 2011.
The continued operating loss prompted Kenji Matsubara, the former president and CEO of both Tecmo Koei Holdings and Tecmo Koei Games label, to render his resignation in November 2010. Yoichi Erikawa, co-founder of Koei, took over the four positions vacated by Matsubara.

Fire Emblem
Fire Emblem (ファイアーエムブレム, Faiā Emuburemu) is a tactical role-playing video game franchise developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. First produced and published for the Famicom, the series currently consists of fifteen games, including remakes, across multiple game systems. Described by its creators as an "RPG simulation", the gameplay revolves around tactical movement of characters across grid-based environments, while incorporating a story and characters similar to those in a more traditional role-playing video game. A noted aspect of gameplay is the permanent death of characters in battle, removing them from the rest of the game should they be defeated. The series title refers to a recurring object, often portrayed as a weapon or shield, representing the power of war and dragons, a recurring element in the series.
Development of the first game began as a dōjin project by Shouzou Kaga and three other developers. Its success prompted the development of further titles in the series. Kaga headed each one until the release of Thracia 776, when he left the company and founded his own game studio.

Warrior
A warrior is a person specializing in combat or warfare, especially within the context of a tribal or clan-based warrior culture society that recognizes a separate warrior class or caste.
Warrior classes in tribal culture
In tribal societies engaging in endemic warfare, warriors often form a caste or class of their own. In feudalism, the vassals essentially form a military or warrior class, even if in actual warfare, peasants may be called to fight as well. In some societies, warfare may be so central that the entire people (or, more often, large parts of the male population) may be considered warriors, for example in the Iron Age Germanic tribes and Indian clans like the Rajputs.
Women as warriors
While the warrior class in tribal societies is typically all-male, there are some exceptions on record where women (typically unmarried, young women) formed part of the warrior class, particularly in pre-modern Japan.
A purported group of fighting women is the legendary Amazons, recorded in Classical Greek mythology. Similarly, the Valkyrie are depicted in Norse mythology, particularly the Icelandic Etta.

Today we're taking a look at the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Switch crossover title, Fire Emblem Warriors. Fire Emblem Warriors combines aspects of the Fire Emblem series and its characters with the Dynasty Warriors games, allowing for fast paced hack and slash combat including features like the weapon triangle, pair up, bond conversations, and more! There has however been some controversy surrounding the game in which the developers focused the game cast around Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Fire Emblem Fates, citing that they didn't want to include all the lords and protagonists throughout the series since then everyone in the game would be wielding a sword; but then they proceeded to turn around and develop several brand new characters....that use swords. Why Koei doesn't give a Sunday Morning Left-Handed Wank about Dubbing Games anymore
My opinion on why Koei isn't dubbing games any more. Hopefully they prove me wrong and release future games with Dual Audio. Missed a few key bits, Like that they never used to credit voice actors, which is really unfair. Cunts. Players will be able to fully utilise their surroundings for the first time in the Warriors franchise with the ability to climb buildings and mountains, wield grappling hooks to traverse walls, and make use of objects like oil barrels in battle. These new actions offer a breadth of new possibilities for players to take advantage of while travelling around third-century China, or when caught in the heat of battle!
DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 introduces exhilarating new combat mechanics to the series’ signature “one versus thousands” style gameplay with the State Combo System. This new system allows players to perform 3 different attack styles – Trigger Attacks, Flow Attacks and Finish Attacks – each dealing progressively more damage. Trigger Attacks allow players to create the start of an explosive combo, leading to Flow Attacks, which adapt to the enemy’s current state. Successful combos allow for a Finish Attack to be performed, delivering a final blow that eradicates any foes caught in its path. These new enhancements aim to create a thrilling and fluid experience unlike any previous entry in the franchise.

Today we're taking a look at the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Switch crossover title, Fire Emblem Warriors. Fire Emblem Warriors combines aspects of the Fire Emblem series and its characters with the Dynasty Warriors games, allowing for fast paced hack and slash combat including features like the weapon triangle, pair up, bond conversations, and more! There has however been some controversy surrounding the game in which the developers focused the game cast around Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Fire Emblem Fates, citing that they didn't want to include all the lords and protagonists throughout the series since then everyone in the game would be wielding a sword; but then they proceeded to turn around and develop several brand new characters....that use swords. Regardless, the game is definitely looking very beautiful and from my past experiences playing the Dynasty Warriors games, I'm sure it will be a great experience.
