There’s a muscle-car war brewing in Detroit these days. Right as the handling-champion Z/28 goes out of production, Ford delivers a Shelby-badged suckerpunch with a flat-plane-crank V8, MR dampers, and carbon fiber wheels. Head 2 Head host Jason Cammisa takes the two through a series of challenges: first, some canyon carving to see which car is better on the road. Then, a dyno shootout: can the GT350R’s 5.2-liter Voodoo make more power than the venerable 7.0-liter LS7? And then, it’s onto Chuckwalla Valley Raceway where Jason and racecar driver Randy Pobst find out not only which one is faster around the track, but which car handles best. Ford Australia has finally released the Mustang locally and it’s got a 2.3-litre, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine. The efficient turbocharged motor generates 233kW and 432Nm and uses as little as 9L/100km on the combined cycle.
That enough? That ok? Good, because no one cars about a four-cylinder Mustang. So let’s forget that and concentrate on the model everyone does care about – the 324kW/542Nm, 5.0-litre V8!
This Ford Mustang, the first officially available in Australia since the 1960’s, is the sixth generation of what is now an automotive legend. It’s also the first Mustang that’s been designed by the factory to be RHD. This new Mustang was always supposed to be an export star.
Retro is cool, but retro isn’t easy to nail, yet this new Mustang fills the brief perfectly – it’s modern but old school – and it needs to be to keep the Mustang faithful happy.

The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Introduced early on April 17, 1964, dubbed as a "1964½" model by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest nameplate in production[citation needed] and has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation.
The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobiles—sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks—and gave rise to competitors such as GM's Chevrolet Camaro,AMC's Javelin, and Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracudas and Dodge Challengers. It also inspired coupés such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri, which were exported to the United States.
The Ford Mustang was brought out five months before the normal start of the 1965 production year. The earliest versions are often referred to as 1964½ models, but VIN coded by Ford and titled as 1965 models with production beginning in Dearborn, Michigan on March 9, 1964 and the new car was introduced to the public on April 17, 1964 at the New York World's Fair.

Ford Australia has finally released the Mustang locally and it’s got a 2.3-litre, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine. The efficient turbocharged motor generates 233kW and 432Nm and uses as little as 9L/100km on the combined cycle.
That enough? That ok? Good, because no one cars about a four-cylinder Mustang. So let’s forget that and concentrate on the model everyone does care about – the 324kW/542Nm, 5.0-litre V8!
This Ford Mustang, the first officially available in Australia since the 1960’s, is the sixth generation of what is now an automotive legend. It’s also the first Mustang that’s been designed by the factory to be RHD. This new Mustang was always supposed to be an export star.
Retro is cool, but retro isn’t easy to nail, yet this new Mustang fills the brief perfectly – it’s modern but old school – and it needs to be to keep the Mustang faithful happy.

This is a step by step instructional video on how to change the fluid in a Ford 7.5 & 8.8 differential. While I’m working on a ’98 Ford Mustang, this video applies to many Ford models & years since these rear ends have been in use for decades. I show many tips & tricks to make this job quick, easy & painless. The actual labor part of this job takes about an hour, even if you take your time. The longest part is waiting for the RTV to cure, which is 12 to 24 hours. There are gaskets available at most auto parts stores that work very well too. Use a gasket instead of RTV if you don’t want to wait for it to cure. Starting in 2004, every Mustang build has come from the Ford Flat Rock Assembly Plant. The plant pumps out, on average, 500 Mustangs per shift. While every Mustang is quality checked, a lucky 5 percent are picked at random for a full test-track evaluation. Gittin's Monster Energy Falken Tire Ford Mustang RTR, was not chosen at random.

The sequel to the Icon original video: Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle - Nick 'Apex' Brocha is back and this time he brought his Empire teammate, Ernie Vigil. The two are mounted on a pair of crackling Triumph Speed Triples - built by Roaring Toyz for the sole purpose of going sideways. Over the last year their quest to find the ultimate drifting playground has led them to the rolling hills of High Plains County. Low traffic, perfect asphalt and endless twisties have kept them busy resurfacing roads with their rear tires for weeks. The only problem is the local authorities have had enough. Enter Police Officer Dan Brockett, the only man with the muscle to keep these two in sight. His 550 horsepower Ford Mustang Cobra was built for speed and he's got a license to use it...
