Overall I would say only buy it if you need a big display for managing your work-spaces more efficiently. The quality is close to being an every day monitor but at the same time not even close. The deal breaker for me is color accuracy, it is something I rely on and need in my work.

There are many mixed reviews on this display. There is a "Dimming" effect that happens when you switch form light to dark images on the display. I have not found a fix for this and it does change color accuracy drastically. I did notice it during my edit, I found it partially annoying which is why i recommend it only as a secondary display and not a primary.

Got this TV to replace my 40 inch scepter as the main TV and my 40 is now a computer monitor. Really good looking TV for the price. Ordered Saturday at like 1 AM and received it Monday 12/14/2015 so fast shipping. Paid $400 pretax from walmart. So the picture is nice and clear and it looks good my only problem with it is a slight color distortion around the corners that is a little white/bright also a little pinkish hue at the bottom of the screen noticeable in darker scenes. So for the price it is good and I can live with the color being a little off its not worth sending back plus I can't notice it when I'm playing COD Black Ops 3 so hey (:
Ps. I moved the middle speaker closest to the TV in less than a day and have now moved all speakers off the stand and away from the TV, also loosened several screws, Moved the Ps4 down by the sound system control, moved the TV up 4 inched, and finally placed a aluminum shield underneath the TV so why ever it has the slight pink hue in the middle bottom of the screen IDK WHY.

Sceptre
A sceptre (or scepter in U.S. English) is a symbolic ornamental staff or wand held in the hand by a ruling monarch as an item of royal or imperial insignia. Sometimes, it could be used for showing a sense of divinity.
Antiquity
The Was and other types of staffs were signs of authority in Ancient Egypt. For this reason, they are often described as "sceptres", even if they are full-length staffs. One of the earliest royal sceptres was discovered in the tomb of Khasekhemwy in Abydos. Kings were also known to carry a staff, and Pharaoh Anedjib is shown on stone vessels carrying a so-called mks-staff. The staff with the longest history seems to be the heqa-sceptre, sometimes described as the shepherd’s crook.
The Bronze Age rulers of Mesopotamia are not regularly depicted with sceptres. However, in some instances they are shown armed, with bow and arrow and occasionally a mace.
Use of a rod or staff as representing authority can be traced to the beginning of Classical Antiquity. Among the early Greeks, the sceptre (Ancient Greek: σκῆπτρον, skeptron, "staff, stick, baton") was a long staff, such as Agamemnon wielded (Iliad, i) or was used by respected elders (Iliad, xviii. 46; Herodotus 1. 196), and came to be used by judges, military leaders, priests and others in authority. It is represented on painted vases as a long staff tipped with a metal ornament. When the sceptre is borne by Zeus or Hades, it is headed by a bird. It was this symbol of Zeus, the king of the gods and ruler of Olympus, that gave their inviolable status to the kerykes, the heralds, who were thus protected by the precursor of modern diplomatic immunity. When, in the Iliad, Agamemnon sends Odysseus to the leaders of the Achaeans, he lends him his sceptre.
