Easy Thanksgiving turkey and Turkey Gravy recipe
Tender Juicy Turkey recipe
Defrost turkey... sit frozen turkey on kitchen counter for 3 days to completely defrost
Remove turkey gizzards, heart, liver and neck from cavity
Remove slime and cut excess fat
Rinse turkey with salt and water
Turkey Rub
2 TBS of Seasoning salt, 1 TBS garlic powder, 1 TBS onion powder, 1 TBS of sage, 1 tsp of thyme, 1 tsp of rosemary, 1 tsp of pepper
Drizzle melted butter on both sides of turkey, rub well
Sprinkle a generous amount of seasoning onto turkey
Place in refrigerator and marinate for 3 days
After 3 days..... chop up 1 onion and 2 green peppers, and place in cavity of turkey.
PRE HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
Chop up 1 green pepper and onion into very small pieces
Place 1 tbs of flour in an oven bag. Add chopped green peppers and onions.
Place turkey in bag
Tie a knot at the end of bag and cut 6 1/2 inch splits on top of bag
Place in baking pan and bake until thermometer reads 160 degrees in thickest part of turkey
Gravy
Place turkey neck, liver, heart, and gizzards, in a small pot. Add 1 tb of butter.
Add 3 cups of water and 2 cups of chicken broth/slurry (6 tbs of flour)
Simmer over medium heat until gravy thickens
Poor over turkey once done

In the video, the viewer gets an up-close look as Grandin interacts with a flock of 15,000 birds roaming easily down the football-field length of a climate-controlled turkey house. When readied for market, those turkeys ride up into conveyor loading trucks and to an orderly delivery at the processing plant.
There, the process of humanely stunning the birds renders them unconscious before processing under the watchful presence of USDA government inspectors enforcing safe and sanitary preparation. At each step along the methodical movement of rinsing, cleaning and separating the meat from the carcass, Grandin provides context and common sense explanations. Izmir (Turkish: İzmir) is a large metropolis in the western extremity of Anatolia. The metropolitan area in the entire Izmir Province had a population of 3.95 million as of 2010, making the city third most populous in Turkey. Izmir metropolitan area extends along the outlying waters of the Gulf of İzmir and inland to the north across Gediz River's delta, to the east along an alluvial plain created by several small streams and to a slightly more rugged terrain in the south. The ancient city was known as Smyrna, and the city was generally referred to as Smyrna in English, until the Turkish Postal Services Law of 1930 made "Izmir" the internationally recognized name.
The city of Izmir is composed of several metropolitan districts. Of these, Konak district corresponds to historical Izmir, this district's area having constituted the "Izmir Municipality" (Turkish: İzmir Belediyesi) area until 1984, Konak until then having been a name for a central neighborhood around Konak Square, still the core of the city. With the constitution of the "Greater Izmir Metropolitan Municipality" (Turkish: İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi), the city of Izmir became a compound bringing together initially nine, and since recently eleven metropolitan districts, namely Balçova, Bayraklı, Bornova, Buca, Çiğli, Gaziemir, Güzelbahçe, Karabağlar, Karşıyaka, Konak and Narlıdere. Almost each of these settlements are former district centers or neighborhoods which stood on their own and with their own distinct features and temperament. In an ongoing processus, the Mayor of Izmir was also vested with authority over the areas of additional districts reaching from Aliağa in the north to Selçuk in the south, bringing the number of districts to be considered as being part of Izmir to twenty-one under the new arrangements, two of these having been administratively included in Izmir only partially.

Easy Thanksgiving turkey and Turkey Gravy recipe Tender Juicy Turkey recipe Defrost turkey... sit frozen turkey on kitchen counter for 3 days to completely defrost Remove turkey gizzards, heart, liver and neck from cavity Remove slime and cut excess fat Rinse turkey with salt and water Turkey Rub 2 TBS of Seasoning salt, 1 TBS garlic powder, 1 TBS onion powder, 1 TBS of sage, 1 tsp of thyme, 1 tsp of rosemary, 1 tsp of pepper Drizzle melted butter on both sides of turkey, rub well Sprinkle a generous amount of seasoning onto turkey Place in refrigerator and marinate for 3 days After 3 days..... chop up 1 onion and 2 green peppers, and place in cavity of turkey. PRE HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES Chop up 1 green pepper and onion into very small pieces Place 1 tbs of flour in an oven bag. Add chopped green peppers and onions. Place turkey in bag Tie a knot at the end of bag and cut 6 1/2 inch splits on top of bag Place in baking pan and bake until thermometer reads 160 degrees in thickest part of turkey Gravy Place turkey neck, liver, heart, and gizzards, in a small pot. Add 1 tb of butter. Add 3 cups of water and 2 cups of chicken broth/slurry (6 tbs of flour) Simmer over medium heat until gravy thickens Poor over turkey once done -

Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was welcomed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan upon his arrival at the Esenboga Airport in Ankara, Monday. The Saudi Arabian leader arrived in the Turkish capital to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. A special escalator was placed to assist the king in descending from the plane ahead of his welcome by the Turkish president. Easy Thanksgiving turkey and Turkey Gravy recipe
Tender Juicy Turkey recipe
Defrost turkey... sit frozen turkey on kitchen counter for 3 days to completely defrost
Remove turkey gizzards, heart, liver and neck from cavity
Remove slime and cut excess fat
Rinse turkey with salt and water
Turkey Rub
2 TBS of Seasoning salt, 1 TBS garlic powder, 1 TBS onion powder, 1 TBS of sage, 1 tsp of thyme, 1 tsp of rosemary, 1 tsp of pepper
Drizzle melted butter on both sides of turkey, rub well
Sprinkle a generous amount of seasoning onto turkey
Place in refrigerator and marinate for 3 days
After 3 days..... chop up 1 onion and 2 green peppers, and place in cavity of turkey.
PRE HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
Chop up 1 green pepper and onion into very small pieces
Place 1 tbs of flour in an oven bag. Add chopped green peppers and onions.
Place turkey in bag
Tie a knot at the end of bag and cut 6 1/2 inch splits on top of bag
Place in baking pan and bake until thermometer reads 160 degrees in thickest part of turkey
Gravy
Place turkey neck, liver, heart, and gizzards, in a small pot. Add 1 tb of butter.
Add 3 cups of water and 2 cups of chicken broth/slurry (6 tbs of flour)
Simmer over medium heat until gravy thickens
Poor over turkey once done

Over than 3500 km traveled in 20 days, capturing landscapes from the bluish tones of Pamukkale to the warm ones of Cappadocia, the all passing by a great variation of colors, lights and weathers through six other cities.
I've crossed Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Istanbul, Konya; and tasted baklava, kunefe, doner, the turkish tea; and got the chance to meet the soul of Turkey, its people.. and got their smiles and their hospitality.
This is Turkey lived by me from north to south, and I hope you enjoy it :)

Nowadays the sea-facing Kordon is a great place for jogging, cycling, walking the dog and just plain lounging about, while the northern district of Alsancak is being steadily restored, its lovely old houses reminiscent of the Greek island of Chios, metamorphosing into inviting restaurants and bars.

İzmir is a city in the western extremity of Anatolia and the third most populous city in Turkey, after Istanbul and Ankara.[1][2] İzmir's metropolitan area extends along the outlying waters of the Gulf of İzmir and inland to the north across Gediz River's of delta, to the east along an alluvial plain created by several small streams and to a slightly more rugged terrain in the south. The ancient city was known as Smyrna (Greek: Σμύρνη Smyrni), and the city was generally referred to as Smyrna in English, until the Turkish Postal Service Law of 28 March 1930 made "İzmir" the internationally recognized name.
The city of İzmir is composed of several metropolitan districts. Of these, Konak district corresponds to historical İzmir, this district's area having constituted the "İzmir Municipality" (Turkish: İzmir Belediyesi) area until 1984, Konak until then having been a name for a central neighborhood around Konak Square, still the core of the city. With the constitution of the "Greater İzmir Metropolitan Municipality" (Turkish: İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi), the city of İzmir became a compound bringing together initially nine, and more recently eleven metropolitan districts, namely Balçova, Bayraklı, Bornova, Buca, Çiğli, Gaziemir, Güzelbahçe, Karabağlar, Karşıyaka, Konak and Narlıdere. Almost all of these settlements are former district centers or neighborhoods which stood on their own, with their own distinct features and temperament. In an ongoing processus, the Mayor of İzmir was also vested with authority over the areas of additional districts reaching from Bergama in the north to Selçuk in the south, bringing the number of districts to be considered as being part of İzmir to twenty-one under the new arrangements, two of these having been administratively included in İzmir only partially.
In 2014, İzmir had a population of 2,847,691, while İzmir Province had a total of 4,113,072.

Had this one committing to the dekes and when I drew the bullhead tipped victory arrow fell off the rest and got all jammed up. He didn't like the sound of that and walked off but didn't go far. After about 20 minutes he wasn't going to come back into the setup. I switched to a regular arrow and broadhead. Took him at 20. Right through the vitals. Ran 20 yards and piled up dead. 19.8lbs, 8 3/4" beard, 5/8" spurs. -

Had this one committing to the dekes and when I drew the bullhead tipped victory arrow fell off the rest and got all jammed up. He didn't like the sound of that and walked off but didn't go far.
After about 20 minutes he wasn't going to come back into the setup. I switched to a regular arrow and broadhead. Took him at 20. Right through the vitals. Ran 20 yards and piled up dead.
19.8lbs, 8 3/4" beard, 5/8" spurs.
