El maduro Alain es un camionero que sale en libertad, tras un año y medio en la cárcel, y va a vivir con su tiránica y ya bastante enferma madre Yvette. Los viejos conflictos entre dos temperamentos parecidos y la misma dificultad para expresar sentimientos truncan el intento de recuperar los afectos perdidos, mientras Alain titubea al iniciar relación con una luminosa y joven mujer. La decisión de Yvette en recurrir al suicidio asistido en una clínica de Suiza precipita a ambos hacia una última posibilidad de bajar las barreras y dar paso a la acallada ternura.
Una obra de arte casi perfecta con una de las escenas finales más conmovedoras que ha dado el cine. Un filme riguroso, sensible y cuidado, que evita todo sentimentalismo y golpe bajo, sobre el encierro emocional y la vida en soledad. Riquísima en sutilezas y matices, gracias a la fotografía y la banda sonora, pero principalmente a inmensos intérpretes capaces de expresar las más pequeñas oscilaciones de la intimidad a través de miradas, gestos, pequeños movimientos y actitudes. El director de Une affaire d’ amour (20º Festival) se confirma como autor dueño de un estilo propio, de sutil expresividad y delicada emotividad, con un especial talento para retratar la vida de gente modesta en la Francia actual y para abordar la imposibilidad de la comunicación afectiva sin aburrir, sino por el contrario, con un intenso interés para los espectadores sensibles y perceptivos.

Denis Villeneuve
Denis Villeneuve (French: [dəni vilnœv]; born October 3, 1967) is a Canadian film director and writer. He is a three-time winner of the Genie Award for Best Director, for Maelström in 2001, Polytechnique in 2010 and Incendies in 2011. All three films also won the Best Picture award. Internationally, he is best known for his crime-thrillers Prisoners and Sicario.
Early life
Villeneuve was born in Gentilly near Trois-Rivières, Quebec.
Career
Villeneuve began his career making short films and won the Radio-Canada's youth film competition La Course Europe-Asie in 1990–91.
Breakthrough
Villeneuve first caught attention for his 2001 film Maelström which screened at festivals worldwide and won dozens of awards, including 8 Jutra awards and 'Best Canadian Film' from the Toronto International Film Festival. He followed that up with the controversial, but critically acclaimed film Polytechnique (2009) about the shootings that occurred at the Montreal university.
Villeneuve's career exploded further with his film Incendies (2010) which received critical acclaim after it premiered at the Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals in 2010. Incendies was subsequently chosen to represent Canada at the 83rd Academy Awards in the category of Best Foreign Language Film and was eventually nominated for the award. In January 2011 he was selected as one of the top ten filmmakers to watch. The film went on to win eight awards at the 31st Genie Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Lubna Azabal), Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing, Overall Sound and Sound Editing.

Middle East
The Middle East (also called the Mid East) is a transcontinental region centered on Western Asia and Egypt. The corresponding adjective is Middle-Eastern and the derived noun is Middle-Easterner. Formerly, the Eurocentric synonym Near East (as opposed to Far East) was commonly used. Arabs, Azeris, Kurds, Persians, and Turks constitute the largest ethnic groups in the region by population, while Armenians, Assyrians, Circassians, Copts, Druze, Jews, Maronites, Somalis, and other ethnic and ethno-religious groups form significant minorities.
The History of the Middle East dates back to ancient times, with the (geo-political) importance of the region being recognized for millennia. Several major religions have their origins in the Middle East, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; the Baha'i faith, Mandaeism, Unitarian Druze, and numerous other belief systems were also established within the region. The Middle East generally has a hot, arid climate, with several major rivers providing irrigation to support agriculture in limited areas such as the Nile Delta in Egypt, the Tigris and Euphrates watersheds of Mesopotamia, and most of what is known as the Fertile Crescent. Most of the countries that border the Persian Gulf have vast reserves of crude oil, with the dictatorships of the Arabian Peninsula in particular benefiting from petroleum exports. In modern times the Middle East remains a strategically, economically, politically, culturally and religiously sensitive region.

Yolande Moreau
Yolande Moreau (born 27 February 1953) is a Belgian comedian, actress, film director and screenwriter. She has won three César Award on four nominations.
Life and career
Moreau is prize-winner of three César Awards: one for best first film (in 2005) and two as best actress (in 2005 and 2009). She has more of the awards than any other Belgian actress.
She made her debut in cinema with the director Agnès Varda with two movies : Sept pièces (1984) and Vagabond (1985). In 1989 she joined Jérôme Deschamps and Macha Makeieff's troupe, of which she became one of the stars, especially with the TV programme, Les Deschiens. She played La Levaque in Germinal (1993) directed by Claude Berri, a concierge in the film Amélie (2001) and Mama Chow in Micmacs (2009) (both directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet), a mime in Paris, Je T'aime (2006) and a lovesick woman in Vagabond (1985) directed by Agnes Varda. She make her directional debut with the movie When the Sea Rises, in which she also starred and she is the co-writer. The movie is really loved by the critics and Yolande Moreau won two César Awards for Best Debut and Best Actress. Moreau stars in the French horror thriller film The Pack, which premiered at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Her 2013 film Henri was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

Film festival
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). Un filme riguroso, sensible y cuidado, que evita todo sentimentalismo y golpe bajo, sobre el encierro emocional y la vida en soledad. Riquísima en sutilezas y matices, gracias a la fotografía y la banda sonora, pero principalmente a inmensos intérpretes capaces de expresar las más pequeñas oscilaciones de la intimidad a través de miradas, gestos, pequeños movimientos y actitudes. El director de Une affaire d’ amour (20º Festival) se confirma como autor dueño de un estilo propio, de sutil expresividad y delicada emotividad, con un especial talento para retratar la vida de gente modesta en la Francia actual y para abordar la imposibilidad de la comunicación afectiva sin aburrir, sino por el contrario, con un intenso interés para los espectadores sensibles y perceptivos. -

El maduro Alain es un camionero que sale en libertad, tras un año y medio en la cárcel, y va a vivir con su tiránica y ya bastante enferma madre Yvette. Los viejos conflictos entre dos temperamentos parecidos y la misma dificultad para expresar sentimientos truncan el intento de recuperar los afectos perdidos, mientras Alain titubea al iniciar relación con una luminosa y joven mujer. La decisión de Yvette en recurrir al suicidio asistido en una clínica de Suiza precipita a ambos hacia una última posibilidad de bajar las barreras y dar paso a la acallada ternura.
Una obra de arte casi perfecta con una de las escenas finales más conmovedoras que ha dado el cine. Un filme riguroso, sensible y cuidado, que evita todo sentimentalismo y golpe bajo, sobre el encierro emocional y la vida en soledad. Riquísima en sutilezas y matices, gracias a la fotografía y la banda sonora, pero principalmente a inmensos intérpretes capaces de expresar las más pequeñas oscilaciones de la intimidad a través de miradas, gestos, pequeños movimientos y actitudes. El director de Une affaire d’ amour (20º Festival) se confirma como autor dueño de un estilo propio, de sutil expresividad y delicada emotividad, con un especial talento para retratar la vida de gente modesta en la Francia actual y para abordar la imposibilidad de la comunicación afectiva sin aburrir, sino por el contrario, con un intenso interés para los espectadores sensibles y perceptivos.

Just having wrapped the sequel to Blade Runner a few days before this interview, he is ready for a rest... but is heading into editing full-time as this posts. If you want to see one of the best films of 2015, I suggest going to your local theater to watch director Denis Villeneuve’s Sicario. Loaded with great performances, a fantastic script, and tremendous cinematography by Roger Deakins, it’s one of those rare films where everything works perfectly and you walk out remembering why you love cinema.
While at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival I landed an extended video interview with Denis Villeneuve. He talked about making Sicario on a limited budget, the editing process, why he hates putting deleted scenes on Blu-rays, and cutting the best shot of his life from Prisoners and making Roger Deakins mad. He also talked extensively about Blade Runner 2, which he will direct. He discussed its script, the various cuts of the first movie, how long it took to convince Roger Deakins to shoot the sequel, and so much more. If you’re a fan of this gifted director I’m sure you will enjoy the interview.
Finally, for those that don’t know anything about Sicario, the film stars Emily Blunt as an FBI agent who’s assigned to assist in the war on drugs on the border between the U.S. and Mexico. She sets out on a top-secret mission under the leadership of a questionable consultant (Benicio Del Toro) whose actions make her rethink what she’s committed herself to. Josh Brolin, who plays an elite government task force official, also stars alongside Jon Bernthal, Victor Garber, and Jeffrey Donovan. El maduro Alain es un camionero que sale en libertad, tras un año y medio en la cárcel, y va a vivir con su tiránica y ya bastante enferma madre Yvette. Los viejos conflictos entre dos temperamentos parecidos y la misma dificultad para expresar sentimientos truncan el intento de recuperar los afectos perdidos, mientras Alain titubea al iniciar relación con una luminosa y joven mujer. La decisión de Yvette en recurrir al suicidio asistido en una clínica de Suiza precipita a ambos hacia una última posibilidad de bajar las barreras y dar paso a la acallada ternura.
Una obra de arte casi perfecta con una de las escenas finales más conmovedoras que ha dado el cine. Un filme riguroso, sensible y cuidado, que evita todo sentimentalismo y golpe bajo, sobre el encierro emocional y la vida en soledad. Riquísima en sutilezas y matices, gracias a la fotografía y la banda sonora, pero principalmente a inmensos intérpretes capaces de expresar las más pequeñas oscilaciones de la intimidad a través de miradas, gestos, pequeños movimientos y actitudes. El director de Une affaire d’ amour (20º Festival) se confirma como autor dueño de un estilo propio, de sutil expresividad y delicada emotividad, con un especial talento para retratar la vida de gente modesta en la Francia actual y para abordar la imposibilidad de la comunicación afectiva sin aburrir, sino por el contrario, con un intenso interés para los espectadores sensibles y perceptivos.

El maduro Alain es un camionero que sale en libertad, tras un año y medio en la cárcel, y va a vivir con su tiránica y ya bastante enferma madre Yvette. Los viejos conflictos entre dos temperamentos parecidos y la misma dificultad para expresar sentimientos truncan el intento de recuperar los afectos perdidos, mientras Alain titubea al iniciar relación con una luminosa y joven mujer. La decisión de Yvette en recurrir al suicidio asistido en una clínica de Suiza precipita a ambos hacia una última posibilidad de bajar las barreras y dar paso a la acallada ternura.
Una obra de arte casi perfecta con una de las escenas finales más conmovedoras que ha dado el cine. Un filme riguroso, sensible y cuidado, que evita todo sentimentalismo y golpe bajo, sobre el encierro emocional y la vida en soledad. Riquísima en sutilezas y matices, gracias a la fotografía y la banda sonora, pero principalmente a inmensos intérpretes capaces de expresar las más pequeñas oscilaciones de la intimidad a través de miradas, gestos, pequeños movimientos y actitudes. El director de Une affaire d’ amour (20º Festival) se confirma como autor dueño de un estilo propio, de sutil expresividad y delicada emotividad, con un especial talento para retratar la vida de gente modesta en la Francia actual y para abordar la imposibilidad de la comunicación afectiva sin aburrir, sino por el contrario, con un intenso interés para los espectadores sensibles y perceptivos.

The United Nations World Health Organisation (WHO) said on Sunday it had not recorded any case of polio disease in Somalia in the last three years, declaring the country polio free. Thirty Pacific salmon have been found in nine Irish river systems since the first one was recorded in late June. Fisheries chiefs said o ne of the most recent non-native fish to be captured was a mature male, which was ready to spawn when it was found on August 9 on the Erriff in Co Mayo ...
