I'm so glad I did propose to her like this. I got a sweet YES from her! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Hi, my name is Dads Valencia. I am a Licensed Sun Life Financial Advisor, a Birth Videographer and now a YouTube Vlogger. I am also a Kids Church Teacher at Victory Christian Fellowship in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. I am leading a group of volunteers who are teaching the little children about the word of God in a fun and engaging way because we believe that they are the future of our nation. I am also a Victory Group leader for young couples. And of course, the two best roles that I have in my life are these: a child of God and a husband to my beautiful wife, Ethelie. Hopefully, I’ll be a Daddy too, to make sense of my own name. The V Life is about being Vulnerable, Values-Driven, Vision-Focused and Victorious in life. And I truly believe that if we want to live a fruitful life, I have to remain in the V. Just like what my favorite verse in the bible says, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” (John 15:4). This is my life verse and I live with these words. Through my video blogs for The V Life, I would like to share my thoughts, experiences, wisdom, stories and testimonies about FAITH, FAMILY, FINANCE, FILM and FUN. FAITH - My faith is what’s inspiring me to do greater things and achieve excellence, not only for myself but also for other people, for the glory of my God. FAMILY - I believe in marriage and family. I believe that these are the most important relationships we have on earth. I want to build my own family - a family that honors God in everything and follow His will and purpose for our lives. FINANCE - I am a Licensed Financial Advisor with Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) Inc. and a Licensed Investment Solicitor of Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. I believe that through this work that I do, I would be able to help a lot of Filipinos all over the world to protect their lives and the dreams of their families. I teach people the importance of savings, insurance and investments. Financial Peace is something that every family needs and having true peace is absolutely priceless. I believe that we need to build a strong and sound foundation for our Financial House to be able to achieve Financial Peace in our lives. As Financial Advisor, I have received several awards: Bronze Medal for August Champions 2015 Gold Medal for President’s Month 2015 3rd Placer Rookie of the Year 2015 - Cluster Level Top Rookie of the Year 2015 - Branch Level Advisor of the Year 2015 - Unit Level Bronze Medal for Love Month 2016 Silver Medal for Summer Campaign 2016 Macaulay Club Qualifier - Silver Level 2015-2016 UPDATE: I am currently forming my own team of Financial Advisors with Sun Life Financial who will help Filipinos live a brighter life. If you are interested in being a Financial Advisor, please feel free to let me know. FILM - I am basically filming through vlogging. I want to do more and I want to challenge myself more. I want to engage more people and help them discover the things they are passionate about. I am also a Birth Videographer and I love having an outlet for creativity and storytelling. FUN - It’ll be boring if fun is not part of this. Faith and church doesn’t have to be boring. Family is love and fun! Finance is an enjoyable thing to discuss too!
