Awake Live

Awake Live is a live concert album and video by singer Josh Groban. It was released on May 6, 2008.

In the United States, the album is available as a single release in most retail stores. However, the official Josh Groban website released a limited edition internet version of the CD and DVD/Blu-ray with bonus music, alternate album cover and expanded booklet with fan generated photos.

Awake Live captures the Grammy nominated singer's performance at Salt Lake City's Energy Solutions Arena before a sold-out crowd of 15,000 fans on August 28, 2007. While the DVD includes fan favorites from Groban's three best-selling albums, including "Canto Alla Vita" and "Alla Luce del Sole" from his double-platinum self-titled 2001 debut, "You Raise Me Up" and "Remember When It Rained" from the multi-platinum 2003 album Closer, the majority of the songs are from Awake, including the singles "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)", "February Song", and "Lullaby". Released in September 2006, Awake debuted at number 2 on the Billboard albums chart and has sold more than two million copies in the U.S.

Song

Subscription business model

The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.

Rather than selling products individually, a subscription sells periodic (monthly or yearly or seasonal) use or access to a product or service, or, in the case of such non-profit organizations as opera companies or symphony orchestras, it sells tickets to the entire run of five to fifteen scheduled performances for an entire season. Thus, a one-time sale of a product can become a recurring sale and can build brand loyalty. It is used for anything where a user is tracked in both a subscribed and unsubscribed status.

Membership fees to some types of organizations, such as trade unions, are also known as subscriptions.

Sing My Song (Chinese: 中国好歌曲; pinyin: Zhōngguó Hǎo Gēqǔ; literally: "The Song of China") is a Chinese reality talent show that premiered on 3 January 2014 on CCTV-3 (Arts and Entertainment) channel sponsored by Hangzhou Wahaha Group and Wahaha Joint Venture Company. The series is produced by the same team that produced the The Voice of China and retains some of that show's format; however, a major difference is that contestants in Sing My Song must perform their original composition rather than covering songs by other artists.

Format

The series consists of three phases: the audition called "the recordings", a battle phase called "the singles", and a final called "the song". The four producers choose teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Each producer has the length of the auditioner's performance to decide if he or she wants that singer-songwriter's self-written, composed, and song sung on his or her album. If two or more producers want the same contestant (which happens frequently), the singer-songwriter has the final choice of producer.
