Welcome to another episode of Halcyon Ales, your favorite beer review and Vainglory gameplay series. This time I’m playing Ardan as the support / roam in a ranked game. Yes, I know I post a lot of support videos, it’s just the primary role that I play especially when going into ranked queue. The DESTIHL Brewery Abbey’s Single seems like a perfect paring for this match up. The beer is light at 4.9 % ABV but like Ardan packs a big bunch of flavor. You’ll see in this video I build a contraption, not something I normally do when I play Ardan but when there is a Taka on the enemy team, I don’t want any chance of that guy slipping away. Cheers! And thanks for watching! Support Gameplay | Vainglory Update 1.12
Welcome to another episode of Halcyon Ales, your favorite beer review and Vainglory gameplay series. This time I’m playing weapon Joule as the jungle carry in a ranked game. Going along with this game I’m drinking the 'Til Sunset from Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery in Virginia. This is a Session IPA coming in at 4.7 % ABV. It’s these sort of beers that go perfect with playing video games because you don’t want something that’s going to impair you gameplay, especially when playing ranked. If you’re looking for another session IPA to pick up, be on the look out for the Easy Jack from Firestone Walker or the Stone Go To IPA, both of these are a little easier to get your hands on then the 'Til Sunset. Cheers! And thanks for watching! Support Gameplay | Vainglory Update 1.12
Welcome to another episode of Halcyon Ales, your favorite beer review and Vainglory gameplay series. When traveling I try to grab beers that I haven’t tried or can’t get in Chicago. The Speakeasy Pop Gun Pilsner was one of those beers that I picked up when I recently took a trip out to San Francisco. The Pop Gun Pilsner is part of Speakeasy's Session 47 Series and I’m all for session beers so this was an easy purchase for me. I would’ve loved to have played Ringo to pair with this beer but someone else on my team snatched him up before I had the chance. Instead I decided to play Phinn, he’s slow moving and it gave me time to take a drink as I slowly made my way to the next objective. This beer went down rather fast, maybe too quickly because we ended up losing the game here. I was maybe...
Welcome to another episode of Halcyon Ales, your favorite beer review and Vainglory gameplay series. I had a hiccup with the intro of this video and I wasn’t able to include the pour and the introduction of the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a 5.6 % ABV American Pale Ale and is the classic and maybe original craft beer that many beer fans started drinking. To pair with this beer I decided to go with a classic hero that I love to play; Glaive. What fun would it be just to play Glaive? So I decided to also take him into the lane. If for some reason you’ve never had a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale then you should give it a try, you’d be surprised. Cheers! And thanks for watching! Lane Gameplay | Vainglory Update 1.19
Welcome to another episode of Halcyon Ales, your favorite beer review and Vainglory gameplay series. In this series I’ll be reviewing a beer and playing a game of Vainglory. I’m usually very flexible on my roam because I’m focused on giving a little bit of information about the beer but that doesn’t mean I won’t be going try-hard on the Halcyon Fold. In this video I'll be drinking a Stiegl Radler. If I’m being honest, this is really more of a grapefruit soda than a beer, but it’s so damn good I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to review it for Halcyon Ales. Plus, being so low in ABV it makes for a great beer to have while you’re playing Vainglory. To go along with the Stiegl Radler I busted out the SAWPort in this match. SAWPort can be a blast to play especially when you have a tasty bev...
Welcome to another episode of Halcyon Ales, your favorite beer review and Vainglory gameplay series. In this series I’ll be reviewing a beer and playing a game of Vainglory. I’m usually very flexible on my hero choice because I’m focused on giving a little bit of information about the beer but that doesn’t mean I won’t be going try-hard on the Halcyon Fold. In this video I'll be drinking Fort Point Beer Co’s Park. Park is a 4.7 % ABV American Pale Wheat Ale from San Francisco. This beer was pretty solid and went down incredibly easy, which was good because this match was a bit of a pain in the ass. I haven’t had much from Fort Point in the past since it seems like they are mainly available in the San Francisco area, which is good for anyone working at Super Evil Megacorp. Sadly, my team ...
