"Hey there Sandman this is Shan Keith here and I have my own YouTube channel called South Asian MGTOW. To start off I just wanted to say thank you for introducing the whole philosophy of MGTOW to me, you were the first person who I viewed regarding this topic. I was wondering If you can also help me out and promote my track that I made about MGTOW. Now onto my video request I was wondering If you can do a video regarding South Asian women in terms what you have experienced and from what you may have heard from your friend. Thanks!" out your MGTOW music track or channel I'm put the link below in the description. Before I speak about South Asian Women first I'll give everyone a little bit of background of where I grew up. I was an immigrant to Toronto and when I was young I was in an ESL or English as a Second Language program. There were kids from all over the world in my classroom, Japan, China, India, Africa, Europe and Latin America. I was immersed in full multiculturalism at a very young age. But when I finished my ESL program I went to normal school and it was 95% white kids. I found that there was no racism and status seeking from most kids in the ESL program because most of the children were completely different physically and culturally from one another. But when I left that class and went to the homogeneous class the racism was heavy. The reason I'm saying this is because my first experience while growing up was that Indian girls were nice and non confrontational but blonde white girls with blue eyes acted like devils. I spent half my childhood in the city of Mississauga, which is right next door to Toronto and there were many Indian boys and girls that I got along with while I was growing up. But if the children of European descent saw me hanging out with any of them then they would attack me to reinforce their own ideas that South Asians. Shan, luckily you're too young to really remember this type of behavior. So when I was growing up and in middle school and high school there was a lot of racism directed at South Asian here in Canada. And dating them would be looked down upon. I dated a Filipino girl in high school and I was attacked for that as well by racists. But today ironically many guys see Indian women as better then the local Canadian girls. From a white man's perspective they are seen as more family oriented, pleasant to be around and grew up in
mostly stable family homes unlike many of the Caucasian girls that grew up in broken homes. The racism in the past has been replaced with many Canadian men dating South Asians. And in high school henna art on Indian girls hands was looked down upon as witch craft or voodoo and now it's completely socially acceptable for anyone to do it. It wasn't socially acceptable for white guys to date Indian or Pakistani women but today it's perfectly fine.

After nine months of sweat, blood and tears we present to you our video which follows the real life story of one particular family and shows how a father's depression can affect the whole family.
We want to raise awareness of depression in the South Asian community and show how it is often ignored, not understood or suppressed by mature men and how sometimes the younger generation misunderstand the situation and imagine that it is a form of weakness which can affect them too.
There is often a strong stigma attached to men who cannot cope. Older men are seen as heads of their families and must be seen to be in control and capable – anything less is conceived as weakness and unhelpful inability to cope. Their families often do not understand what is happening and a lack of sympathy and appreciation of a condition such as depression can lead to a serious breakdown in family relationships.
We wanted to draw attention to the plight of the older Asian man suffering from depression and illustrate just how much strain it can impose on others, more so when they simply do not understand what is happening to a loved one.
Often these afflicted men will not seek help and we believe they are strongly underrepresented in empirical data on the subject and therefore the issues relating to them are not being addressed or discussed. This can only change with a wider appreciation of depression as an illness that can affect anyone at any time and that seeking help is not a sign of weakness but a necessary one in tackling a serious, and in some extreme cases very sadly and regrettably fatal, issue. By making a simple drama highlighting what depression can look like, we hope to help and support anyone who finds themselves or their loved ones in this predicament. We are embracing them – throwing an arm around them and saying it’s okay, it happens – there is nothing wrong with you in seeking help and support, you are not on your own. Please don’t feel alone or frightened or scared, we can, together, overcome this.

Asian people or Asiatic people is a term with multiple meanings that refers to people who descend from a portion of Asia's population.
Native ethnic groups of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan self-identify themselves as Asian. They are also recognized as Asian by Russians and Chinese.[citation needed]
This self-identification is based phenotypically, and on cultural differences from Russians, as these countries used to be parts of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, and therefore have significant Russian populations. Another reason for such self-identification is patriotic: "the native people of the Center of Asia - are undoubtedly Asians".[citation needed]
In parts of anglophone Africa, especially East Africa and South Africa, and in parts of the Anglophone Caribbean, the term "Asian" is more commonly associated with people of South Asian origin, particularly Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans.
Notably, the Australian Census includes Central Asia, a region that is often considered to be part of the Greater Middle East. The Australian Census includes four regions of Asia in its official definition. Defined by the 2006–2011 Australian Census, three broad groups have the word Asian included in their name: Central and Southern Asian, South-East Asian and North-East Asian. Russians are classified as Southern and Eastern Europeans while Middle Easterners are classified as North African and Middle Easterners.

After nine months of sweat, blood and tears we present to you our video which follows the real life story of one particular family and shows how a father's depression can affect the whole family. We want to raise awareness of depression in the South Asian community and show how it is often ignored, not understood or suppressed by mature men and how sometimes the younger generation misunderstand the situation and imagine that it is a form of weakness which can affect them too. out your MGTOW music track or channel I'm put the link below in the description. Before I speak about South Asian Women first I'll give everyone a little bit of background of where I grew up. I was an immigrant to Toronto and when I was young I was in an ESL or English as a Second Language program. There were kids from all over the world in my classroom, Japan, China, India, Africa, Europe and Latin America. I was immersed in full multiculturalism at a very young age. But when I finished my ESL program I went to normal school and it was 95% white kids. I found that there was no racism and status seeking from most kids in the ESL program because most of the children were completely different physically and culturally from one another. But when I left that class and went to the homogeneous class the racism was heavy. The reason I'm saying this is because my first experience while growing up was that Indian girls were nice and non confrontational but blonde white girls with blue eyes acted like devils. I spent half my childhood in the city of Mississauga, which is right next door to Toronto and there were many Indian boys and girls that I got along with while I was growing up. But if the children of European descent saw me hanging out with any of them then they would attack me to reinforce their own ideas that South Asians. Shan, luckily you're too young to really remember this type of behavior. So when I was growing up and in middle school and high school there was a lot of racism directed at South Asian here in Canada. And dating them would be looked down upon. I dated a Filipino girl in high school and I was attacked for that as well by racists. But today ironically many guys see Indian women as better then the local Canadian girls. From a white man's perspective they are seen as more family oriented, pleasant to be around and grew up in
mostly stable family homes unlike many of the Caucasian girls that grew up in broken homes. The racism in the past has been replaced with many Canadian men dating South Asians. And in high school henna art on Indian girls hands was looked down upon as witch craft or voodoo and now it's completely socially acceptable for anyone to do it. It wasn't socially acceptable for white guys to date Indian or Pakistani women but today it's perfectly fine.

After nine months of sweat, blood and tears we present to you our video which follows the real life story of one particular family and shows how a father's depression can affect the whole family.
We want to raise awareness of depression in the South Asian community and show how it is often ignored, not understood or suppressed by mature men and how sometimes the younger generation misunderstand the situation and imagine that it is a form of weakness which can affect them too.
There is often a strong stigma attached to men who cannot cope. Older men are seen as heads of their families and must be seen to be in control and capable – anything less is conceived as weakness and unhelpful inability to cope. Their families often do not understand what is happening and a lack of sympathy and appreciation of a condition such as depression can lead to a serious breakdown in family relationships.
We wanted to draw attention to the plight of the older Asian man suffering from depression and illustrate just how much strain it can impose on others, more so when they simply do not understand what is happening to a loved one.
Often these afflicted men will not seek help and we believe they are strongly underrepresented in empirical data on the subject and therefore the issues relating to them are not being addressed or discussed. This can only change with a wider appreciation of depression as an illness that can affect anyone at any time and that seeking help is not a sign of weakness but a necessary one in tackling a serious, and in some extreme cases very sadly and regrettably fatal, issue. By making a simple drama highlighting what depression can look like, we hope to help and support anyone who finds themselves or their loved ones in this predicament. We are embracing them – throwing an arm around them and saying it’s okay, it happens – there is nothing wrong with you in seeking help and support, you are not on your own. Please don’t feel alone or frightened or scared, we can, together, overcome this.

After nine months of sweat, blood and tears we present to you our video which follows the real life story of one particular family and shows how a father's depression can affect the whole family.
We want to raise awareness of depression in the South Asian community and show how it is often ignored, not understood or suppressed by mature men and how sometimes the younger generation misunderstand the situation and imagine that it is a form of weakness which can affect them too.
There is often a strong stigma attached to men who cannot cope. Older men are seen as heads of their families and must be seen to be in control and capable – anything less is conceived as weakness and unhelpful inability to cope. Their families often do not understand what is happening and a lack of sympathy and appreciation of a condition such as depression can lead to a serious breakdown in family relationships.
We wanted to draw attention to the plight of the older Asian man suffering from depression and illustrate just how much strain it can impose on others, more so when they simply do not understand what is happening to a loved one.
Often these afflicted men will not seek help and we believe they are strongly underrepresented in empirical data on the subject and therefore the issues relating to them are not being addressed or discussed. This can only change with a wider appreciation of depression as an illness that can affect anyone at any time and that seeking help is not a sign of weakness but a necessary one in tackling a serious, and in some extreme cases very sadly and regrettably fatal, issue. By making a simple drama highlighting what depression can look like, we hope to help and support anyone who finds themselves or their loved ones in this predicament. We are embracing them – throwing an arm around them and saying it’s okay, it happens – there is nothing wrong with you in seeking help and support, you are not on your own. Please don’t feel alone or frightened or scared, we can, together, overcome this.

Recently, it seems like there has been a growth in the amount of mixed Japanese/Asian people in Japan and North America. This video takes a look into some famous "halfies", "hafu", or mixed Asian race people. There are many more mixed Japanese people who we ended up not talking about, like Jero, Miki Sudo, Daniel Henney, sports stars, or Dean Cain just to name a few, but maybe we will do another video...?
Also, this was filmed back in early September, so that explains why we didn't dwell much on Big Hero 6, Ryan Potter, and Sanfransokyo. Wish I lived there! Goes to show the blend of Japan and America is getting bigger.
