Ryan Prior: Ryan is a journalist, film producer, and social entrepreneur from
Atlanta, GA. A former writer for
The Daily Beast and
USA Today, he is now executive producer and writer of the feature film
Forgotten Plague (previous working title:
The Blue Ribbon). The documentary focuses on the role that major new trends in
Big Data and genomic medicine play in addressing ME/
CFS and transforming the future of medicine. In conjunction with the film, he is co-founder of the
Blue Ribbon Foundation which will promote the documentary and install first-year medical students at top neuro-immune institutes.
Leonard Jason: Leonard is a professor of psychology at
DePaul University in Chicago,
Illinois, where he also directs the
Center for
Community Research. His chief professional interests include the study of chronic fatigue syndrome, smoking, smoking cessation, and
Oxford House recovery homes for substance abuse. His interest in chronic fatigue syndrome began when he was diagnosed with the condition in
1990 after having mononucleosis.

Jeannette Burmeister: Jeannette is an attorney, licensed in
California and
Germany, who worked for the world's largest law firm before she became sick with ME/CFS. She is now an ME/CFS activist and has most recently focused on the politics surrounding the controversial efforts of the
Institute of Medicine to re-define the disease. You can follow her on

Beth Mazur: Beth is a fellow ME patient and the lead architect overseeing all technical planning for HealClick, a website focused on helping neuroimmune patients learn about treatment reviews from patients that best match them.
Previously she was a consultant and technical product manager for startup companies including
Merced Systems and Jaspersoft. She also built open-source software for microfinance institutions with

Llewellyn
King: Llewellyn is a renowned journalist who has fought tirelessly over the last many years to raise the profile of ME and most recently start MECFS alert, a wide-reaching interview series that aims to help awareness of the disease as well as help discover treatments and comfort those affected. He has recently written a sort of manifesto -- you may have seen the video version of it -- articulating what he thinks we need in order to make real progress on funding in
Washington. His journalistic work has been featured in the
