David Mazouz is a child actor, best known for his role as mute Jacob "Jake" Bohm in the TV series Touch, starring opposite Kiefer Sutherland as his father and Danny Glover as a friend.
Touch is an American supernatural thriller television series, written and created by Tim Kring. It stars Kiefer Sutherland, and debuted on Fox on January 25, 2012, before beginning to air regularly on March 22, 2012. Thirteen episodes were ordered for the first season, with the two-episode season finale airing on May 31, 2012. On May 9, 2012, Fox renewed the show for a second season.
Touch centers on former reporter Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland) and his autistic, emotionally-challenged 11-year-old son Jake (David Mazouz). Martin's wife died in the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks, and he has been struggling to raise Jake since, moving from job to job while tending to Jake's special needs. Jake himself has never spoken in his life, but is fascinated by numbers, spending much of his days writing them down in notebooks.

Knowing that it can't, and soon you will leave
And I'll be on the floor, watching the TV
Trying hard to find a reason to move
I'm frozen in one place, staring at the screen
Listening to the rain falling on the street
Some days go on too long
So no, no one can hang out tonight
Here, where the carpet is cool and soft
Underneath the clock, I feel my weary heart is put to rest
You gather around your friends, the connection that you feel
When the night has not yet died, you are new
With a promise of a love, and you'll probably never find
And touch that you can really feel
The brokenness inside, [Incomprehensible]
And nothing is real
And there is nothing more I want than just one night
That's free of doubt and sadness
